They do an amazing business here serving all types of people. I had my first mofundo here, a Dominican dish made out of plantains and it turns out tasty bits of pork. The rice and beans are delish! The yellow rice has a traditional flavor and the the beans are soupy and delicious. The Bistec (think steak with onions) is a steal for ten dollars. The only negative here is the service is slow. It takes time to get someone to your table for the initial contact. My first dine in experience was great. The place was busy and our waitress was on point. Often times in restaurants like this I experience a language barrier. This waitress spoke clear English and there wasn't a problem. My second visit was great food wise, but the restaurant was empty and service was poor. When the waitress arrived, there was a bit of a language barrier, but I was able to order by pointing at what I wanted. The restaurant is Dominican, but personally I don't see a difference from Puerto Rican fare I have eaten in Allentown. In any case, the food is great and I especially like the steak and mofungo. Interestingly enough, I see they deliver 7 days a week, that's pretty amazing in my book.
