I had the Shredded beef rice bowl with beans and sweat plantains. They asked me if I wanted cheese on my dish, but because I'm Puerto Rican and you never put cheese on Rice and Beans I said no thanks. But I will say that as a Latino this place took me home in a bowl. The beans were just like my wife makes, accept it's a different bean. Now I know this is an Arepa bar and I should have had an Arepa but I am not a fan of Arepa's. It's a texture thing for me, but I love the items that go inside of them. As for my co-worker, He had two Arepas and a sugarcane lemonade drink and a cheese stick. He loved every bite! So Arepas are a must buy here along with a rice bowl like I had. Side note: you got to try their sauces! Their hot sauce is called Picante and is made with Habanero peppers. Look out for that one it's super hot! The garlic Sauce and the cilantro sauce taste great but the colors will confuse you. I bet when you see the sauces you'll guess the wrong color with the flavor.
