I felt like the goat needed a little more seasoning I needed to be cooked a little more the rice perfect what you expected. The beans are a little more seasoning of besides that it was great. It was wonderful the gravy that accompanied the still goat delicious that was like full of all the flour. It was fantastic the roasted chicken oh wow that chicken was so good. I like their food! I tried the chick, beef stew( 2 kinds of beef) . Beef is a bit chewy, but still good!

Food was great chicken was fresh and rice and beans was also good. The lady who took my order on the phone was patient with me considering there was a slight language barrier but we figured it out. after leaving my drs apt at Cedar Crest on the way back to the poconos....starving...I remembered this place I have passed 100 times...the lot is always full...My wife wasn't sure what I was doing as I pulled up beside the graveyard across the street..she had been on the phone...she looked around as we got out and just from the yummy smells we knew it was the right spot !! every table had people eating, lots getting to go, and we wanted to eat in...the sweet lady behind the counter to us to just sit with someone in front...they were fine with it...I had the biggest bowl of soup ever , she added a side of rice and chicken and Morir Sonando ( orange juice with milk )....we both ate and left stuffed....best soup I remember...I've already told friends about this place ...can't wait to return !!! An excellent little hole in the wall that serves cheap food in a large portions. If you're the adventurous sort, they have beef and tripe stew that you can put over rice (wasn't the biggest fan, the tripe was on the chewier side). I also tried the pork and rice and that was pretty decent. None of the dishes were amazing per say, but they all hit the spot when you're hankering for some comfort food. My favorite thing is probably the $1.50 cheese and beef empanada. Eating these is like eating potato chips--before you know it, you've already had 3. If anything, my rating is for the empanadas. Stopped in for lunch after reading reviews here. First of all, ignore what you've read here about the staff being less than nice. My server was awesome and pointed out to me what the dishes were. (Please note there's nothing posted anywhere about what the foods are so for newbies like me, some help was required.) I went with the pork stew over brown rice and was blown away by the flavor of the meat along with the tenderness of it. Looking forward to trying the chicken and beef dishes in the upcoming weeks. The food is not good... The server ladies have a stank attitude. Of course they think they're cute because they working at Cuchifrito(lol). They're rude and obnoxious. I walk in and smile and they role their eyes at me. My boyfriend ordered for us and I sat down and while he was ordering they kept looking towards me and giving me the same stank look which made me smile even more. Anyhoo. First time here and first time getting Spanish food in Allentown. It's good. We ordered the pernil, 1/2 baked chicken, pollo guisado, small mondongo and large white rice and beans. Top notch latino comfort food. I would like to make a few points here for those who come here with unrealistic expectations. 1) Do not expect good service or quick delivery. They are not there for that. 2) If you do not know Spanish (I don't either), either ask them and they always help. 3) It is a hole in the wall, blue collar, comfort food establishment. It may look dirty, but it is not, it may look seedy, but it is far from it. The food here is absolutely amazing. Good empanadas. Delectable pernil (whole roast pig), stewed goat meat, curried ox tail, tripe, pepper steak and stewed pork. Do not forget their rice and beans or their brown rice. I have never had anything bad here. If you like flavorful, beautifully seasoned meat (with a generous amount of rendered fat around it) cooked perfectly in unctuous sauces, you found the right place.
