Really glad we did. The area was busier and with more foot traffic than we expected, which actually made it fun for people watching. We sat outside and the vibe was just easy and welcoming. Not packed, but well attended. Service really made the night. Angel took great care of us and didn't just check in, he actually spent time with us, talked through things, and made the whole experience feel personal. The general manager (we believe his name was) Kevin came over as well and was just as engaged, calm, and genuinely open. Food-wise, the beef and chorizo meatballs were insane. Easily one of the best things we had all weekend. The steak skewers with mashed potatoes were also excellent. Great flavor, cooked right, and the presentation was really nice. We also tried the meat paella and it didn't hit the same. The meat was overcooked and the balance felt off. We shared that honestly, and both Angel and Kevin handled it incredibly well. No defensiveness at all. Kevin comped the dish right away and said he'd talk to the chef, which I respected. Drinks were fun and creative. We tried the coconut lavender and the Honeycrisp sangria. Both really unique, just a little sweet for my taste. Overall, this is a place that clearly cares about the experience. Great service, standout dishes, and they handle feedback the right way. I'd absolutely come back for those meatballs alon

Sit on either side because it doesn't matter at all. Not much atmosphere but it's certainly not a fast food spot. I've never seen more than three tables occupied for lunch. They do take reservations! Absolutely nothing remarkable about the food. Get the "ensalada pollo" for a salad and you'll get some greens, doused in dressing, onions, some cherry tomatoes and tough chicken. It was fine. Staff are a bunch of kids. They do their best. If they forget you just go find them. They're around.

My wife and I ordered margaritas, but they only gave us one, because the bar ran out of glasses. We got the second one 15 min later. Every table gets free chips and salsa. The chips were crisp, but unsalted. The dish of salsa was small and insufficient, watery, and pretty tasteless. The server advised that the kitchen was backed up and to order tacos or quesadillas for the quickest service. I had the duck confit quesadilla, and my wife had the chicken/bean quesadilla. They came out quickly, and both were good. I would come back here when they are not so slammed. Three stars for now.

Mexican spot on Main. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. I was impressed with steak burrito…read more Wrap was a bit crispy which I wasn't expecting. A nice touch. Fries were good but not that many. They looked randomly scattered on the plate like they were accidentally added. Thankfully, the burrito was filling and a good portion. Steak was surprisingly good too. Service was decent but for the amount of staff lounging around, I shouldn't have to seek out staff to get more water or find staff for the check. Took a good 15 minutes for the food to arrive which, judging by the look on the faces at other tables, was the norm that day. Ultimately, I'd go back for sure.

With 73 martinis to choose from (but they have more), it was great to know that every martini my girlfriend I had was perfect. The crab cake was good but their crab soup is out of this world. Their Ahi tuna sandwich is exceptional, while their chicken is good. Creamy lobster on top of nori inside of a light and fluffy bun. It was a fun twist on a classic bite. For the main I ordered the wagyu burger. I ordered it rare and it was not the right call. The burger was so thick that it didn't get a great sear on the outside and was falling apart. I did hear a waitress recommend medium well due to the size and I would definitely suggest that to anyone who tries it. It had a great flavor so I would still recommend you try it. I also ordered the notch fried rice bowl. Chinese sausage, pork belly, peas, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, broccoli, egg, bean sprouts, togarashi spice, and topped with a dippy egg. This dish was savory, Asian fusion cuisine mixed with something that felt like comfort food. If you go here, this is what I would recommend you try, but their whole menu looked incredible. This is a spot you need to add to your list of places to check out.

We were going to a place nearby that serves 6-8 different types of cuisine that I didn't want to roll the dice with on a Saturday night. We had to park behind and walk by Steak and Steele to get there and she smelt steak and wondered where it was coming from? That was my opportunity to point out the Japanese style steak place! So we rolled the dice.... We sat at a traditional window table by the bar and were seated quickly. I wanted to do the teppanyaki table but she didn't want to deal with other folks etc on a busy night. The server was so nice and very down to earth. Fairly quick service overall. She had no clue about the ins and outs of this cuisine but she knew the menu well. I had fun talking with her and explained a few reasons for my questions about this type of dining that I know very well and she seemed to enjoy learning. Another server next to us seemed very much the same way and they worked well together with service. My wife ordered a really good Yuzu and I got a Sapporo draft. She loved that yuzu but to me it was kind of too sweet and I love sugary drinks. But I'd highly recommend looking at the bottle and finding one. $15 but this product category is not cheap. I prefer Kirin over Sapporo but it was good. We ordered steak and shrimp and steak and prawns, along with a spicy tuna roll extra spicy. The roll was Meh at best and not even really spicy at all but still tasty I guess and just above grocery store sushi grade. The food platter we got was F enourmous! Wow I just didn't know how to even imagine it when it showed up. We both opted for half noodles and half rice and the pile of these was immense. But it was about as good as say Panda Express or maybe slightly better however a huge volume. Protein was pretty generous and was seasoned pretty well and cooked at a good temp. The onion soup was mild but nice touch. Salad basic but fresh. I'd eat here again if ever in town again. The bar looked nice with four tv screens across from a group of stools in a line. Probably good for a drink and snack. But it just doesn't wow me other than really appreciating the great staff, value for the money, and an alternative to a dinner elsewhere I didn't care to try.
