We usually go here for breakfast but had the chance to check out their lunch prowess…read more Even though (technically) they stopped serving breakfast at 11, my wife charmed her way into biscuits and gravy for lunch with side sausage. I got the pimento cheeseburger all the way with fries. Our server Pam was as sweet as could be helping score the biscuits and gravy. Wife's food was plentiful and delicious. Biscuits were tender and the gravy creamy and delicious. My burger, although a bit messy as you'd expect was delicious as well with all the toppings maintaining their taste and not getting muddled with their brethren. The pimento cheese was creamy and distinct. Great lunch and friendly service is a trademark here. Come and see for yourself.

Great food, great ambiance, and an absolutely gorgeous patio overlooking the vineyard! We came here…read moreafter a stroll through Reynolda Village in Winston, followed by a bottle of wine on Rayson's relaxing outdoor patio. This dinner was the perfect ending to a perfect day on a warm, sunny November evening. The food was excellent. We started with the baked brie wrapped in a buttery flaky pastry, and the goat cheese medallions with marinated peppers and olive tapenade. Both were delicious. For mains, I had the porcini mushroom and cheese stuffed ravioli in a beef ragu, and this dish was outstanding. Everything blended beautifully and melted in your mouth with that rich ragu surrounding it. I'd definitely order it again. My wife had the chicken gnocchi dish. The only slight miss was the gnocchi. It wasn't homemade and leaned more on the firm side rather than that soft, melt in your mouth texture. Outside of that, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the manchego spinach cream sauce was fantastic. What truly sets this place apart is the patio overlooking the vineyard. I highly recommend reserving a seat outside for the full experience. Looking forward to our next trip here!

After an odd experience of going to two other wineries that advertised food trucks (and the food…read moretrucks were there, but not open, and no customers in sight?!) we ventured to Bistro Europa at Rayson, where we had enjoyed a delightful experience a month or so earlier. Even without reservations we were seated on the (enclosed for winter) patio immediately. The patio affords lovely views of the vineyards. Both times we have visited it has been a little noisy due to a large group but hey they are having fun. I ordered the Chicken Gnocchi, which comes with capicola, manchego, spinach and creamy brown butter sage sauce. That sauce -- chef's kiss! It paired nicely with the Élevage Blanc wine. We got a slice of chocolate torte to go and it was delicious as well. Highly recommend.

1 star. Absolutely horrible customer service experience…read more I was the ONLY person in line and made it all the way through the salad stations. All that was left was lids for my dressing, bread, paying, and leaving. Another customer walked in BEHIND me and instead of finishing my order, the employee completely stopped helping me and took the new customer through the ENTIRE line while I stood there waiting. I then had to wait 5-8 minutes while the second customer slowly decided on ingredients and changed her mind multiple times. The person behind me got almost full uninterrupted service while I -- the first customer in line -- was left standing there waiting. What made it even worse was the manager's response. He defended the employee, told me she "did nothing wrong," and completely dismissed my frustration with a "have a nice evening." The issue wasn't just the wait. It was being skipped over and then treated like my frustration didn't matter. I've been there around 5 times in the last month, but after this experience, I will never return.

Looks like you had to ask for an actual physical menu based off another customer - not sure what was on there. Sat outside under the shaded bench area to eat our dessert. We ordered a lava cake, blueberry cobbler with a local vanilla gelato, and a cinnamon roll. None of them were exemplary. If I had to pick which was the best one, maybe the blueberry cobbler. Lava cake should not have been called a lava cake, it was just basically a soft chocolate cake, which still didn't taste that good. Disappointing. The vanilla gelato was low quality. Cinnamon roll was also low quality, did not hit the spot. Wouldn't come back here for dessert.

My family stopped here on a road trip and I was pretty disappointed…read more We came right at opening and it was pretty quiet, but it was definitely bustling by the time we left. Our server did a pretty mediocre job, if I'm being real - she took our orders and delivered the food but pretty much didn't check on us for the entire meal, and I ended up having to take my trash to the front counter to get rid of it, since no one was bussing the table. I got the Chicken Power Pita and I was underwhelmed with it. The pita was soggy and cold, and everything inside felt mushy and a bit flavorless. My wife's roast beef sandwich was also extremely lacking, although she did like the bread. Weirdly, she wanted lettuce, tomato, and onion on it, and the server told us that they didn't offer onion. Why does a deli not have sliced onion for its sandwiches? On the positive side, my father-in-law really liked his chili. Because we got there so early, we found parking on the street, but I'm not sure how easy it'd be to find parking if you came during normal lunch hours. Inside the restaurant, it had standard deli vibes. I would definitely not come back here if I was stopping in Statesville for lunch.
