Parking is plentiful and the accessibility was great. We took my elderly father and there were elevators, accessible restrooms and plenty of seating options indoors and outdoors. The building is clean and well-kept (some of these other reviews are from many years ago, so I wonder if Bally's has made some upgrades). Food is like crappy high school cafeteria food at restaurant prices, so keep your expectations low. Bring cash for betting (and there are several ATMs in the building). Overall a very fun family outing.

Upon entering a clean lobby, we were warmly greeted by three separate staff. So we loaded up our dirt bike and quad and headed to Jewell Motocross Track to celebrate his birthday by doing some riding. PROs: ++ There's several different tracks (3 or 4) offered: beginner, intermediate, and pro. ++ All tracks run on a counter clockwise configuration - so there's no confusion about which way you should be riding. ++ They do offer happy hour pricing - though now I cannot recall the days, times, or pricing. Whoops! CONs: -- At $20 a rider - admission was a bit more expensive than I expected. Though it was my first time at a motocross track so perhaps I just don't know. What the rates are. -- The staff member at the entrance fused over our quad saying that they, "weren't allowed." After explaining it was for me to putt around on he said there was one area we were allowed to ride it far from the other tracks - gee, thanks. After all is said, Jewel Motocross Track was an "OK" experience in my book. I doubt I'll be making my way back any time soon - but wouldn't mind if I did.

The atmosphere was awesome from the moment we arrived. I have never been in a place with so many cowboy hats. It truly felt like stepping into a whole different world. Cowboys and cowgirls everywhere!Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and social. Even people sitting next to us were chatting and excited to talk about the events. The energy in the Denver Coliseum was great, and seeing all the different rodeo events was really neat. Price: I bought our tickets online directly from the National Western Stock Show website. Tickets for the MLK Rodeo were about $44-$45 per person. Each day or event has a different price, so it depends on what you choose, but I felt the price was fair for the experience. Transportation: We drove our own car, and transportation itself was fine, but parking was honestly ridiculous. I saw parking prices as high as $70. We ended up finding a spot not too far away for $40, which still felt expensive. If you live in downtown Denver, I would highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft it would probably be cheaper and way less stressful. Crowd: It was honestly pretty crowded almost every seat was filled but it was still a really good time. Even with how packed it was, there was enough space between seats to stay comfortable and not feel cramped. My husband and I were sitting at the very top in the middle, and we still had a great view of everything. Honestly, it seems like there isn't really a bad seat in the Denver Coliseum. Events: All of the events were fun to watch, but my favorite part was definitely the kids hanging onto the sheep mutton busting. It was adorable and had the whole crowd cheering. Since it was my first rodeo, everything felt exciting and new, and there was always something happening to keep things interesting. Overall: This was a great experience, especially for a first-time rodeo. The atmosphere, events, and friendly crowd made it really special. I would highly recommend attending the National Western Stock Show at least once . It's fun, unique, and something you won't forget.

The food concessions were basic, thank goodness for the food trucks outside but some of them were super pricey for a basic dish of one taco for example. One issue I noticed is a lack of handrails for the upper stands (200 level). A man fell down the stairs and a handrail would have helped him prevent the fall!! Also see emergency egress as an issue due to the number of vendor inside. The show was good and the competitions were well done.

Their service team and techs are top-notch, and the custom work came back looking completely factory-done. Pricing was fair as well. The sales staff was consistently friendly and attentive, and I even ended up finding a bike there for a friend who also had a great experience. Since then, I've gone back for advice on another bike I was considering consigning, and they were generous with their time and knowledge. I wanted to leave this review because I was genuinely surprised their rating wasn't higher when I looked them up again. He arrived 20 minutes after having to call one of the students in the course to come get him. Before beginning the course, Chris was adamant that after 3 drops of the motorcycle, we are forced to reschedule which was odd considering the price we paid coupled with the fact that we heard from two different people who have taken the course previously that this had not been a rule during their previous course. Drops understandably happen during early training. Unfortunately, my mom and I ended up dropping twice during the first day and were both told we had to reschedule. Chris showed zero concern for how we were doing physically or emotionally after each drop. Rather than offering any advice to correct our errors, his focus was entirely on the paperwork related to the incident. When attempting to seek clarity or assistance, he made it clear that he did not have time to help individuals due to the size (8). His tone was dismissive and belittling, it felt as if completing the class well ahead of schedule was more important to Chris than ensuring all students were learning safely or feeling supported. As beginners, we signed up for this course expecting patient guidance. We did not anticipate being brushed off or made to feel like a burden. I truly believe in the value of the MSF program and the mission of promoting safe motorcycling. But this experience left us both shaken and discouraged. Our hope is that the instructor, Chris' conduct be reviewed and consider reinforcing with all instructors the importance of empathy, communication, and individual support-especially for new riders.
