Review on Longview Truck Center…read more Our Crane Company located in Baltimore, Maryland "Williams Crane" bought a Used Freightliner Rollback truck from the good folks @ Longview Truck Center located in Longview Texas. Where they have been providing Quality Trucks & Trailers along with modern Day Cabs & Sleepers and also Construction equipment for almost 20 years. We bought the truck ("As Is" no warranty which is typical in the industry on used trucks) after seeing it on the website and having them send us videos (with sound) and we watched as they ran it through the necessary functions that were important to us to see it in action along with 20 or 30 Photos. We made a pretty quick deal & then flew a driver down from Maryland to pick it up and drive it back to Baltimore. We had it Maryland State inspected and it passed with flying colors. After several months we had some rather expensive mechanical issues with the Truck & even though it did not have a warranty & honestly they did not have to do anything for us..... let's just say they stepped up to the plate and sent us a check for a portion of what we spent on the repairs "No One In the Industry Does That". So now Longview has a customer for life!! We knew that they have a reputation for outstanding quality ( & we love Our Rollback) and honesty and integrity and we found out just how true that is! You will not find a better Truck Dealer in the USA. We got a good deal & Bobby & Deidra really stepped up for us when they did not have to and again we will buy more Trucks from Longview we plan on a long, long relationship with this Dealership. They recommended two places, the other shop, who eventually repaired the issue, didn't call us back. Until I called begging after being deserted by Rush. So first, the first guy arrived without the proper plug-in for testing. Based on a guess, he sent the TCM, transmission control module, out to be repaired. This was after he borrowed a pad and tried it. It was not the TCM. That company cleared the code and sent it back. This took two weeks. Next, they tried another pad. Each time, I had given them the trouble shooting guide to determine the issue. The 2nd man they sent went through half of the guide and determined it was wiring. He was directed to borrow a 2nd pad and try it, then take it back. He had said he was being sent somewhere else where the next day. He left everything unwrapped and disconnected. We didn't realize no one was coming back until I received a call to pay the bill by entering my credit card into a website. No bill, no explanation of what was done, nothing!! Anyway I found myself trying to locate two Tee-Unions that needed today, but most of the Truck Parts Dealers in Tyler all closed at 5:pm or earlier. I found Rush Truck Center in Tyler, TX to open until 7:30 and it was on my way out of town. What I found was the "Shop" is open until 7:30 but "Parts" closes at 6:PM normally. I said "normally", as pulled into their parking lot Chris was locking the door and heading out. I called out to him that I was need of a couple connectors, he turned around opened the door and told me to come in. He opened the parts department to a non-commercial truck owner, a guy with a small motorhome that needed a couple of inexpensive parts. It's hard these days to find someone that will do the right thing let alone a business with employees willing to help you out. Thank you!!

First they delayed the pick up for days because everyone there is an idiot, once he arrives to pick it up on about the 3rd agreed upon date, it still wasn't done. After arringing home to Kansas he realized they'd installed the incorrect PTO pump for the wet kit, even though he sent them exactly what was needed. They've been dodging calls and texts since. So far, it's needed an oil change because that hadn't been done since April, a newly installed fender has come off and broken air lines because they don't understand the concept of how to attach these, multiple lugs have come off, they installed the light/liscense plate holder piece on the back of the truck on upside down, a check engine light for water in the fuel on, which was "fixed" while he was still there is on, and now it's getting towed because the whole thing is dead. These people are complete scammers that sell junk equipment and I intend to review them everywhere I can.
