I was traveling alone today with my two daughters age 3 and 1. I stopped here to get gas and I…read morewanted to pay at the pump so I wouldn't have to leave the girls in the car. I went to two different pumps and the card readers weren't working and told me to go inside to the cashier. At this point I'm frustrated because my 1 year old is fussy I just wanted to quickly get gas and get back on the road. So I quickly went inside (don't worry, Karen's, I locked the doors and kept the AC on) I was obviously irritated and I told the cashier guy I was frustrated I had to come inside to pay and leave the kids in the car. Immediately, this other employee, a woman, didn't get her name, started YELLING at me and saying "It's not OUR fault the card readers aren't WORKING!" And made some snide comment about leaving my kids in the car I didn't really hear. But I quickly paid and went back outside even though she was continuing to talk to me very rudely. The cashier guy was nice and I just said "I'm just saying this is not very convenient for people traveling alone with kids". I feel bad he didn't do anything wrong, but that other woman employee just made me even angrier when she didn't even explain why the readers weren't working she just immediately snapped at me.

I live around the corner and everytime I go in there, one particular employee is being rude and…read morecondescending to customers, an older lady that has been there the entire 30 years I have lived here. Today it was me and all I was doing was trying to get quarters for the laundry next door (that they own as well) because the change machine was messing up ... again. When I informed her of the issue, she stared at me with an irritated expression and stated that she couldn't give me any and proceeded to talk down about me to her fellow employees. I turned and left and will go to the Texas Best until they get rid of her.
