Absolutely the worst possible place you could take your truck. They charge you hours upon hours of diagnostic time to figure out issues then when their solution doesn't work, they go on another fishing expedition. I was charged for 7 hours only to find out that it was parts that were replaced 11 months prior and still within the warranty. Shouldn't that be covered under the warranty as well? They say they are working on it, when my GPS and telemetry says they haven't even moved the truck out of the parking spot. Liars and crooks. Had my truck for 23 days and now the same problem is still occurring four days later. read more

So in the beginning, my experience here was great . The people are amazing , very helpful and kind . But they did mess up the part I dropped off. I'm not going to say exactly which one but when I dropped it off for cleaning, it was in great shape. when I cam to pick it up on the following day, they messed it up and I had to go back and talk it through with them. That sucked but they worked with us to help fix the problem. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. These people swapped out an engine for me and I had nothing but problem after problem after problem. I took it back to them 4 times in an 8 mont period. The 3rd time resulted in a bill for $20,665.00 because they took the liberty of replacing the entire dpf system, without my knowledg, no letters, no emails, no texts, no phone calls. We as drivers whether company or owner operators, are not allowed to talk to them. We have to relay it through our employer. Meanwhile, they're free to throw parts at our trucks and run the price up. The season finale, that engine wound up almost falling out of the truck because it wasn't torqued down properly. Theyrefuse to stand behind their mistake, in fact refuse to even talk about it. It did $12,000.00 worth of damage and, we found out this engine they installed for $57,000.00, needed an egr cooler and 6 new injectors.Now I have to hire a lawyer to see what my options are. A lot more I could say but it's too much to list. These people did me dirty and they know it. I have the documents and witnesses to prove it. read more

We initially received an invoice from Megan for $12036.00 for repairs on a 2018 Peterbuilt 567 which we agreed to. The day prior to completion we received a call from Torri (service tech) stating that we were "up to" $20000 including additional labor to diagnose another issue. He also stated that an additional two hours were required. When I informed Torri that I had an ONE invoice from Megan and no other written service orders permitting additional labor hours, he reluctantly stated that he would honor the initial invoice. We also spoke to Travis (service manager) who admitted to listening in on the sham call from Travis. They would have definitely taken us. Truck owners beware!!! If we had not requested an invoice we would have been out of over $20000 for repairs. This is totally unethical and dishonest. Sidenote: The truck wasn't repaired.....we towed it from MHC Kenworth- Gainesville directly to another repair shop after giving them $12036.00! First time in 40 years of ownership. I do not recommend this company. read more

In the last 4 years we have spent close to 2 million dollars buying 20 + trucks from Barry and Nathan at MHC Gainesville. Usually the trucks arrive with huge amounts of problems , and you're caught footing the bill for most of it. Barry will claim that everything wrong with the truck happened in the 400 mile hop from their yard to ours - and that there's no way the truck was like that when it left his yard ...interesting. We just bought 2 more trucks and the heat won't work on a drivers first night in the truck with temperatures below freezing. Now that the truck is funded Barry told me - "he doesn't work for me" despite spending close to $2 million. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - DO NOT BUY HERE read more

Had a battery replaced less than 6 months ago at another location of theirs. It went out. Went to this Gainesville location today. Their machine tells them if it's under warranty or not. It said it's not. Yet the battery is less than 6 months old. Think about that! Be sure and ask what the labor rate is. It was $371.00 labor to change 2 batteries. One was the one put on by a MHC location less than 6 months ago and the other was a factory battery. Wait time? Plan on waiting many hours. Even when they tell you different!! read more
