WoW! Talk about Karma. On Memorial Day Weekend I was headed from Asheville, NC., to Montgomery, Al. Our car broke down on interstate 85 S. Saturday evenig. My brother, back in Alpharetta, Ga, searched the internet to find James Brooks Automotive, with it's glowing reviews. And, I am here to concur. I had the car towed to the automotive shop, 10:30pm that evening. I filled out the repair form that evening, left the keys, and continued on my trip south. I would not know whether I would need a car rental to get back to Asheville, until they had inspected the car on Monday. (Which complicates matters evening more sense the only place to rent a car on a holiday is an Airport.) They were open on Memorial day Monday to attend to my breakdown. James and Carolyn couldn't have been nicer, or more fair with their labor charges. I too am in the retail business, and I can tell you. You don't open on Memorial Day Monday for the only purpose of making money. You have to have a love for your trade, and and love to be available to the general public. If there was a key to the city of Commerce, GA., they get my vote to receive it. James and Carolyn are wonderful ambassadors representing the citizens of Commerce, GA. Girls weekend planned for months in ATL! I had a blast until I was headed back to Charlotte and my car started smoking and i had to pull over! THANK GOODNESS I was in Commerce near the outlets! After calling a few different shops to get an idea of what i should do i finally spoke with Mrs. Brooks and she was very knowledgable and helpful. I had my vehicle towed to this shop and James and his staff were nothing but the best! The atmosphere was very friendly and clean! The employees were very kind! They worked dilligently to get my car back up and running so i could head back and even went as far as picking up the required part from the Nissan dealership 25 miles away! If you ever break down this is the best place to break down. They are fair, honest, knowledgeable and treat you like you are an everyday customer! read more

Love, love love!! These people. Honest, fair, fast, and trustworthy. He stands by his work 110% and really knows what he is doing. Just genuinely great people to work with. I always use James Brooks Automotive they get straight to the point on what is wrong with your car and don't try to sell you on things you don't need! Great, Friendly people! Could have charged me to fix something that wasn't even broken.. Instead, they just tightened up a belt and ordered a part for another issue after getting a quote and our approval for the expense! We would definitely recommend them for your Automotive needs! read more
