Great job. Great Price. They aren't fancy but quality service and Outstanding pricing. Highly recommend. Leo is a good dude

After leaving my previous review, I was contacted by both Leo and Ben about my experience. They were both understanding of the situation and expressed genuine concern for the miscommunication. They offered me the difference of the quote and the charge back. In instances such as these, faith in the company is restored just in the reaction to problems. I'd be happy to refer them to anyone I come across I just urge that both the company and the consumer ask for FULL cost ahead of time so that there are no surprises read more

Leo installed a new spring in our rental. He offered a fair price for the work, arrived on time, did all the work in 30 minutes, and even helped us to synchronize a car with the garage motor. I would give him 6 stars. Professional, fast, and going beyond. Great job! read more

Woke up deciding we finally wanted to install an automatic garage door opener in our 2015 house. MG Garage was the only company to give a ballpark prior to an on-site estimate. Made a same day appointment and decided to install. Whole process only took 7 hours from first contact to install. The product has MG warranty (7 years) and works with smart phones. Overall really impressed with the level of customer service and speed. Ben was great to work with! read more

These guys just replaced our garage door and I can't recommend them highly enough! Leo came out the same evening we contacted them to give us an estimate. He was incredibly friendly, informative, and gave us a great price that beat every other bid we got. That was for an insulated door, which was an upgrade for us, and included replacing some of the track, the spring, some brackets, and adding weather seals. Nobody else came close to that level of value. Lucio came out a few days later to do the job and had it completely done in about 3 hours. Very friendly and professional and did great work. We're very pleased with our shiny new garage door that we can actually open without throwing our backs out. read more

Leo did a great job replacing the broken spring on our garage door. He responded quickly with a fair quote, came out the same day, replaced both springs, identified & replaced a bearing component that was also on its last legs, and was done in about an hour. We had them come to install an existing garage door opener. I went with them because they had 5 stars here and quoted $125. I had the opener, but was missing a few little metal bits. When they came out and took a look, they quoted $250, or $450 if I wanted to buy an opener from them. I knew it would be a little more than quoted due to missing parts, but we're talking like $20 of screws and stuff on the outside, nothing to double the price. But I went with it to get it over with. They did get the job done, but I wouldn't use them again. The garage door slams shut with a loud thud every time. They installed it with the wires showing all on the ceiling, even though I had an existing hook-up for the opener that was installed before that which was wired through the walls. And the opener button is installed askew. Slapdash job at double the quoted price. read more

** I had to select a rating to be able to comment. Please ignore the rating and just consider my comment. I do not rate them since I did not go with them** The place is in Beaverton, Oregon** An overview of a recent estimate from MG Garage Doors. It is not a complaint or anything, just to provide more information for those who are a fan of transparency and fair pricing: - The technician inspected the faulty garage door - Recommended replacing the spring (only one), then seeing if we need a new opener. - Estimate $550 - $650 for one spring replacement with possible +$850 for the opener. - I decided NOT to go with their estimate since I recently had the same problem in another location which I fixed with much less. - After declining their proposal, I was asked to pay $19.99 for the technician's time and gas, which I paid since I respect people's time. However, the first message I received from the MG Garage in our communication was, "...We don't charge for service calls, our estimates are free..." I am not complaining; I just want to let you know it is not a free estimate. It is free only if you go with them; otherwise, you must pay. - Received a call from the owner a few minutes after I declined their estimate. The owner was a very nice guy over the phone. I explained the situation, and he said they could do it for $450. That sudden price drop was weird to me! The owner also told me that no one could do it cheaper than this in the area. I respect his opinion. - Contacted three more service providers with five-star ratings and over 70 reviews: they all gave an estimate ranging from $200 - $300 for one spring replacement. I had one of them over, replaced the spring for $225, and added a $30 tip. It is all taken care of now. - MG Garage claimed that their price is because it has a lifetime warranty. However, my first thought was: how can I trust you will be in this business for a lifetime? You are not the manufacturer, just an installer. Anyways, it was a personal decision to go with a proposal almost one-third of MG's offer, with six years warranty from a company with three times more five ratings than MG Garage, and having been in this business longer. Again, this is not a complaint or anything. They are very respectful. This review is for those who like transparency and fair pricing. read more

We just had an awesome experience getting our garage door opener/motor replaced by MG Doors! I messaged them yesterday and was connected immediately to Ben who was able to give us a quote right away based on the photos we sent him. He explained everything to us, discussed the type of opener he'd use and why it was the best option and answered all of our questions. He very kindly fit us into his schedule the very next day! Ben was on time, professional, and quickly replaced our opener and installed new sensors, buttons, etc. It was seamless and the end result is fantastic- our garage door is now so much quieter when we open and close it! Thank you so much! read more

These guys came out to give us an estimate on replacing our garage door system. FREE ESTIMATE, as stated that they provide. They were on time, courteous, efficient and fast. And SO sweet to my dog who was being a jerk trying to get attention while he was working. The quote was fair, and in line with the others we received. read more

Leo was amazing! So honest and professional and beats the price of so many others around the Portland metro area -- He repaired the garage door next day and even came to look at it hours after I messaged him on a Holiday since we needed it fixed urgently. He even had garage doors of his own in stock to replace that looked exactly the same, so we didn't have to wait 4 weeks to order it from a manufacturer If you're thinking about hiring Leo, take my word and just do it! read more

The company responded quickly when requesting a quote. They stated they send somebody out the following day between 8:00am and 10:00am, on Easter, to replace the broken garage door spring and a second one as well. I was pleasantly surprised they worked on Easter and Ben arrived at 9:30am. Ben price matched the springs with another quote I'd already received. Ben completed both doors in under an hour and a half at a reasonable price. Would recommend them to others. read more

I had an issue with my garage sensors and I got a hold of MG Garage Doors via Yelp messenger and got a technician to come out the same day! If I could give more than 5 Stars I would. MG Garage Doors was amazing to work with. I put a request for a quote on Yelp for two garage door openers to be installed. Leo, the owner, responded immediately with a quote. I asked a few questions which he promptly answered. I had appointments for other companies to come and give quotes. Leo understood. MG had the best price. Leo quickly scheduled me for two days later. The install was great. Miguel was fantastic going above and beyond to make sure our old doors worked with the new openers. We will be getting new doors soon and we will call MG. read more

Fast, reliable service. Fair price. I couldn't be happier with these folks. Will definitely call them again if another problem occurs.

I can't say enough about Ben and his work/responsiveness. I had a garage door motor that was 40 plus years old without any sensors and I called MG garage doors on a Tuesday and they came out the following day to install a new garage door motor/track and sensors in about 2 hrs. The pricing was very competitive and the work was top notch. read more

Leo was great! Friendly, communicative, hard working, and installed a great set of doors with new openers. He said it would take a couple of weeks to get the doors and yet called only a week later to let us know he had the doors and had them installed just a few days later. Cleaned up everything and definitely went the extra mile. Class act! Can't recommend him enough. read more

Leo was great; curteous and prompt. He got me an appointment same day. And after shopping around he was significantly cheaper than the place that got me the first. Saved me over $150 for a spring replacement. Also arrived with a mask and observed social distancing for covid-19. read more

This company is awesome ! My 22 year old two car garage door was coming apart. Leo came out same day I contacted him. They came prepared and focused in on repairing the door. They had all the parts including all new hinges and a 16 foot long strut. They finished the project in an hour. Very professional, knowledgable and affordable ! read more

Quick response through yelp and was able to get a technician out quickly, without a fee, to look at my broken garage door sensors. The negative review is for the technician that came out and told me that the sensors couldn't be replaced but that the whole garage door system had to be changed. Appreciated the quote, but knew he was wrong. Would have happily paid them for the installation, but instead I went to the nearby Overhead Door location, verified that the provided sensors would work with my door, and installed them myself. read more

I thought I was going to require a brand new garage door opener but Leo inspected my current one and advised me to just fix some wiring, replace some bulbs, lubricate the railings and cut the lock down. I'm so happy! He saved me money and the job was done perfectly! read more

Affordable, quick, and professional. MG Garage Doors does exceptional work and they treat you like you matter. Super-fast response to our broken garage spring. We were told we would have to wait 2 weeks for an extra large spring by one company but MG was able to get it the same day. Very polite and helpful owner. I had to call and cancel our initial appointment because my daughter in law went into labor. He was so kind and rescheduled to Sunday at no extra charge. He found and fixed another problem while he was here. Great company to work with-thank you, MG Garage Doors! read more

They answered the phone right away and arranged to come check out my garage door problem in two hours. Leo came as promised, put new springs on the door, and then spent time fixing sensors, lubing the chain, and adjusting the whole system so that it runs more quietly and works flawlessly. In other words, he not only fixed the problem I called about, but obviously cares enough about his work that he wanted to get everything in great shape. He was efficient, friendly, and very fair on cost! MG Garage will now be my go to for garage door things! read more

Garage door would only go up halfway, so I used Yelp to find a good local fix. As my friend Libby would say: "Holy handstands!" Leo was amazing! He was able to fit me into the schedule the same day, and he and his colleague (so mad I didn't get his name, too) showed up, replaced both busted springs, and even checked the opener to make sure it was all ok. So professional, kind, helpful, and affordable. It was the first time we've needed our garage door repaired (and hopefully won't need it again for another 15+ years) but it was not the nightmare experience I had expected. If you need work on yours, I highly recommend Leo. Also, lesson learned: if you can't easily lift up your garage door, you've got busted springs. Who knew? Obvs not me! read more

Leo was awesome. He came out and gave me an estimate that was really a big cost saver. Not as expensive as many other shops etc. he was able to repair the main garage donor rather than replace the entire door. He was able to get the parts needed and repair the door within 24 hours. All of this at a good price. Very trustworthy and a nice guy. When I have more garage door needs I will definitely call them again. read more
