Easy communication, showed up on time, fixed it with no hassle for a good price. All I could ask for.

Adam proved to be a skilled, reliable professional with a competitive price. Doors are first-rate and work great.

Adam did a great job! He was very responsive and helpful. He was able to come out within a couples hours after my initial call. Really nice guy, on time and professional. He was upfront about cost and I thought it was a fair price. Pro tip - have him look at all your garage doors. I asked him to look at the other door and he said there was a bunch of loose bolts. Adam saves the day!!!! read more

Wow. Cannot recommend Adam and Gateway Garage Doors highly enough. After getting quotes from other highly recommended businesses that included recommendations for new openers and springs, I contacted Gateway who had a very reasonable price for fixing the issue and service. Adam showed up on time, was very professional and fixed multiple issues - we now have a working, quiet garage door and couldn't be happier! Call Gateway first. They're amazing read more

My wife and I are very impressed with Adam. He was very professional and did a great job breathing new life back into our old garage door. Here is the back story. Early in the week, a heard a loud bang in the garage. It turned out the one of the torsion springs broke the garage door. I originally had someone else come out. They did not want to work on a 45+ year old wooden door. I called Adam at Gateway. He responded right away and we scheduled a time for him to come out. Adam replaced both springs. I could tell it wasn't an easy job. I was impressed by his knowledge, honesty, and integrity. Adam also adjusted the door, it is so much quieter than before. I will definitely use him again without hesitation and I happily give him my highest recommendation! read more

I wake up at 4:30am every morning to walk the dog before work and then exactly 5am, I get into my car in the garage and leave for work. For some reason, on a random Monday morning, I decided to reverse from my garage while the garage was still opening Lo and behold, the garage opened and was knocked off the tracks, and unable to close. It is now 5:05am, the springs have been knocked off, I can't close the garage, nobody is home... what do I do ? I call gateway garage doors! They were able to come about 9am, able to fix my garage door, and it was all extremely affordable! They take cash or Venmo which worked perfect for me. read more

Adam was quick and responsive in our garage door inquiries and offered competitive pricing.

The installation was good. It was over shadowed by installing the wrong doors. We replaced the doors on our rental property. When trying to get them replaced, the workman said he would replace them once someone else order the same doors. He just kept putting us off. He had our money and never intended to replace the doors. Integrity is everything. I would not recommend this company. read more

My experience with Gateway and Adam was stellar all the way around. I reached out late on a Wednesday night and had a response within minutes. He gave pricing in the first message which I was very appreciative of. I knew what to expect right out of the gates and there were no hidden or surprising costs that came up. He was able to work around my schedule which was so helpful. I typically don't get home until late afternoon which sometimes makes it difficult to have people come out. This was no problem at all for Adam, he was extremely flexible and made it out when it was convenient for me. He showed up and completed the work within a very reasonable time. I will be recommending Adam to all family and friends and will be using him for any needs in the future. read more

Amazing work! Thank you Adam! I appreciate your great work. You did a wonderful job on what I thought would be a disaster of a garage door. Never thought it'd be so quiet! read more

I'd say all the 5 star reviews are justified. My garage door is something I generally think very little about...until it breaks, of course. So when a tension cable on my door came unhooked and left my door lopsided and unable to close on a Sunday evening, I was in a bind. I placed a service request that evening through my home warranty company. I was assigned a different company on Sunday night. I heard from that company early Monday morning but unfortunately, they couldn't make it out until the next day. I couldn't leave my house with a half opened garage door. I found Gateway in our neighborhood Facebook page as someone recommended Adam. Boy, am I glad they did. I found his website and learned I could text him. Sent a text at 6:35 am. Adam responded in about an hour to say he could definitely help. Told me he would be to my home between 9-10 that morning. Guess what? He showed up when he said he would. He surveyed the problem, got his tools and went to work. Within about a half hour, Adam had my door fixed and door opener running quieter and more smoothly than before he came. I was a little aggravated that he could accomplish his good work in such a short amount of time after I'd spent hours trying to fix it myself. Thankfully, I didn't harm myself or anything else with my DIY effort. Adam proved to me there is no substitute for hiring professionals. He understood the urgency of having a crashed garage door and stepped up to fix it quickly. Oh and his fee was very reasonable. I will not hesitate to contact Gateway again. read more

We've had our new garage door for over 3 months now and its perfect! Aaron not only helped me pick a better design to match the house, but showed me the side mount motor which works way better for our low ceiling single garage. All in all, we got a sturdier reinforced door, quiet motor, and paid a bit less than the other bids we got. Super happy and would highly recommend! read more

Needed the old garage door opener removed and the new one installed. Adam showed up right on time and did a great job. His good reviews and very competitive quote stood out from the rest of the installers. Would use him again. read more

Adam of Gateway Garage Door did a beautiful job of replacing the nearly 60-year old garage door on a house I recently purchased. In the consult, he was knowledgeable about options, and he offered to repair the disconnected garage-door opener as part of the service. To tell the truth, I was skeptical that the opener could be fixed, but Adam gave it his best effort, spending more than an hour on it before learning that the previous owner's "repairs" had damaged the opener irrevocably. Adam popped back the next day to replace the opener at a very fair price. I love coming home to my svelte, well-insulated new garage door and almost silent garage door opener. Adam was great to work with, and he does excellent work. Highly recommend! read more

Adam is great and I highly recommend him! I have wanted to replace my garage door for years and finally got around to it. I called several places but Adam was the only one to call me back, which he did first thing the next morning! He came out later that week, we discussed what type of door would work, and he put the order in. The price he quoted was right in line with what I was expecting. Of course, with the pandemic, supply chain issues came up and it took a while for the distributer to get the door in, but Adam was up front with me about the delays and checked-in regularly so I knew I wasn't forgotten about. When the door came in he was able to schedule installation that same week and had it installed in about half a day. And he hauled away the old door! Seriously, I can't recommend this guy enough! Great work! read more

Life saver, was able to service the next day, showed up on time and was finished in a timely manner. 100 percent would recommend.

Amazing... sorted out our problem. Was reasonable and thought outside the box. Outstanding!

Gateway had a fair price, was responsive, and available. $230 for a complex double spring replacement is a good deal. Some companies claim there is a parts shortage, but when I look around.... You can still buy them for reasonable prices. So, I respect this company. read more

Adam is the best! Super fast and professional. Really appreciated his affordable service. Definitely should be your go to.

I have worked in the construction business for 25+ years and his knowledge was among the highest I have in countered with garage door contractors. I needed my garage door repaired and also help installing an opener. Adam was flexible finding a time to come assess the door and quick to schedule me in a couple days later. He was friendly and helpful and I would definitely call again if I need more repairs in the future! read more

Would recommend this company to everyone! My garage door stopped operating. Adam came out, diagnosed the problem immediately then sourced the products we needed and returned the same day in the pouring rain to install. He was generous with his time and took extra time to explain what our problem was and showed me a spring that was broken and another in bad shape. He also provided many options for repair (not just the most expensive one) and made the experience super easy and painless. I really appreciated that he was attentive, quick, and a great communicator. read more

I live out of state and needed to hire a contractor to perform some needed repair on my father's garage door in Woodburn. Consequently, I did my due diligence in searching and reviewing various contractors in the area and expected that I would need to speak with at least 2 or 3 companies in order to get comparative estimates and competing bids - which is very time consuming and a pain-in-the-neck to do. That said, Adam at Gateway Garage Doors quoted a flat rate of $99.00 for the most common fixes or preventative services (for which I hoped it would be); so I decided to give him a try and he showed up the very next day! I have to say my decision to choose Adam's company really paid-off and that he got the job done in a quick, efficient and professional manner. My father and I are very appreciative and we will hire Adam for any future needs - and I trust that your experience will be the same if you call on him. read more
