Wow, honestly, idk how can people give a place only one chance and expect it to be perfect. This place is my one and only go to place in Angleton. I bring a lot of friends with me and they all love it. This place is right on the street so I never looked it up in my map, i try to find their number today to make an appointment and find out all they have on yelp is bad photo!!! People have to know the better truth. I never write any long review to say anything good (I normally only give 5star to place that I like I don't write reviews) but the pictures made me mad, so I wants to share my good experiences here. I took a picture every time I got my nails done, I posted the most recent pictures they all look fantastic!!! I been in this place so many time, and it's not all perfect, there's time that I don't like the job that was done, but guess what, I TOLD THEM and they will fix it for me. Every time I go anywhere if there is anything I don't like I tell people, some places don't even wanna do anything about it because "it's not their fault ". But not here at MF, 10 out of 10 time (yes I get my nails done here over a year now) they fix for me! If you want your money to be worth you tell them to fix it, and if they don't wanna fix it for you then you leave a bad review! Don't just not say anything about it, not ask for redo or fix, then complain online, i know how important reviews is to business, specially for customer services business! The manager of MF, Vivian is a very nice lady, I also took a screenshot the day that I find my nails wasn't perfect and I texted her, I got it fix the day after! Just make sure you can see what I mean by NOT PERFECT, I circle it up, it's just a white spot because I hit my nail too hard on the table, it's not even their fault, it was mine, but because I just got it done the day before they still wants to fix it for me !!! FOR FREE !!! Girls, if you want your money to be worth, speak up! Let people do their best jobs and fix it for you, because I been in so many nail salons, none of them ever never make me happy 100% every time, I am also an art student so I always want my nails to be PERFECT, at least MF always there fixing my problem if I don't like my nails, they have great designer (Alex) and May does the best pedicure ever! Give them few chance so you don't miss out the gold, and tell them if you don't like about anything, because I am sure they will fix it for you for free. Plus sometimes I showed up late, they will still take care of me until I am happy, I once took them there until 8:30 (they close at 7) but they didn't got mad at all. So, be nice to good people and good place, this nail salon deserves good customers too. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS SOAKED OFF HERE. I went and said I wanted them removed so I could understand how that would be vague. Well when she started ripping them off I was pulling away saying ow, I want them soaked off. she she got out the acetone and ground down the top layer THEN continues to try and pry them off. she continued to do it regardless of me saying ow or that I didn't want then ripped off. This process of soak, grind, and PRY repeated until she managed to destroy my nails and rip them all off. I'm so disappointed mainly because of the fact they didn't used to do that, but it was probably just my lady. I made it very known I was upset and she just continued. Anyways, as a sum, do NOT gets your nails "soaked off" here. If I had known she was just going to rip them off I would've done it at home for free. read more

I'm never the type to write reviews but i país too much to not get my money's worth. I paid $110 tip included for my pedicure & full set acrylic, my toes are amazing I love them the guy took his time but my NAILS, giiiiiirl, they're bad shaped, crooked, the gel is really bad paint job, I also noticed they use the same tools with every client, NEVER new ones. Which brings a lot of bacteria & fungus. I wouldn't recommend this place, I have no idea why they have "4.5" stars on google read more

I visited this location one morning to kill time while the mister had a meeting. It was easy to find with a parking spot right out front. There was also no wait. I was greeted immediately and walked over to their large color selection. Since I had quite a bit time, I got a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was fantastic. I opted for just the basic pedicure; however, the service was the equivalent of a "deluxe" in my part of town. I thoroughly enjoyed being pampered. I also appreciated the technician making sure I was comfortable. The massage chair is amazing! I've never seen one like that. I was also given a heated neck pillow! I gotta get one of those. My only complaint is the polish did not last long. I received my pedicure one Tuesday, and by the next Friday, the polish on almost all was chipped. This is rare for toe nails. They can usually last throughout an entire apocalypse. I had a much different experience with the manicure. For starters, the pedicure took a significant amount of time (no complaints because it was great and left me feeling relaxed), but it used up the bulk of my time. After I was done (took about an hour and 15-20 mins), I only had about an hour left. I informed her I didn't have much time, but she insisted I get a manicure and that it only takes an hour. I was a little nervous because I had to meet the mister , and he doesn't like to wait :) As an alternative, I proposed to get just a basic pedicure w/ natural nails where she'd just trim cuticles and polish them. She actually told me that would take the same amount of time as the powder dip she was recommending. She was very pushy and I'm too nice (ugh!) so I gave in. I picked out a blush color , and she make it known that was a bad choice. She said it didn't match my skin tone, and she would find something better. I don't think she meant it in a negative way, but I did take offense to it. She said I should only use dark colors. While I appreciate her suggestion, I'm the client , and it should be about what I want. Well, she took my selected color and placed it back on the shelf and picked another. I didn't speak up so it's really my fault. She rushed through my manicure. It was very sloppy. There were so many bubbles that the nails came out lumpy. I noticed lint from the towel and she just painted right over it after pausing for a second to look at it. When I pointed it out to her, she told me it would go away after settling. Ummm yeah that never happened. I got the manicure on Tuesday and by Sunday morning ALL nails were broken. These broke differently. The entire nail came off. I'm used to a chip or crack. They came off like press ons. I will never ever get a manicure here, but I'm giving this place two stars because of the almost hour and a half pedicure and massage. If I'm back out that way, I'll maybe only bring enough money for a pedicure so I'm not pressured. I can just say "I only have $40. " lol. The total for services was $90 + tip. read more
