But instead, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that honestly caught us off guard in the best way. Being from the East Coast, we're used to a much rougher, fast-paced kind of energy (no shade, just facts). But this crew? They were something special. Tammy took care of my manicure, and she truly got my nails all the way together. I had hoped for a French, but my nails weren't quite long enough--so we settled on a soft pink that turned out to be the perfect professional touch, especially as I prepare for a major career shift and interviews. She understood the assignment with precision and grace. I'm beyond pleased. Kevin handled my pedicure, and we both opted for the Honey Milk Pedicures--10/10. The massage, both regular and hot stone, was exactly what we didn't know we needed. Kevin's exfoliation skills? Top-tier. My legs and feet felt like they were floating afterward. The entire atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and we were even offered wine and beer while being pampered. It's those little extras that really make a difference. What really sealed it for me was the small yet meaningful gesture at the end: as I was admiring one of their beautiful pathos plants, the woman checking us out offered me a cutting. As a proud plant mom, this act of kindness made my heart full. I love collecting cuttings from spaces that feel like home--and Hollywood Nails absolutely does. Out of all the nail salons in Lake Jackson, this one stood out--and lived up to every glowing review I saw. We didn't just leave with clean nails and soft feet... we left feeling cared for. They do an amazing job on your nails. The techs are all very courteous and the salon is clean with the massage chairs in good repair. The services are performed efficiently. The foot scrub and massage was delightful but I recommend upgrading your pedicure if you want to enjoy the massage a bit longer. The tech took the time to smooth and thin the acrylic on my nails so they looked so much better than before I discovered Hollywood. read more

The worst manicure I have ever had! The lady was incredibly rude, was clearly annoyed I didn't want shellac and gave me the worst service I have ever received. This place clearly can't even do the basics anymore which is sad because I used to come here every 2 weeks when Michelle was running the place. This is the 2nd bad experience I have had this year so will not be coming back. Save your money and try another salon if you don't want acrylics or shellac. read more

My mom and I both got pedicures and the pedicure itself was great! The only thing i was a little disappointed with was the paint job on my toes. Not sure if it was just the brand of polish used but it just didn't settle evenly on my toes. Definitely made my feet baby soft and removed all the dead skin and calluses! read more

this salon is the worst for people of color! I had a appt for 9:15am I got there at 9:12am and the person I made the appointment with was already working on a white women nails. Pretty disappointed with my first visit. My best friend treated us to mani/pedis today and I got the worst service I've ever had. I also stated I hadn't been in a nail salon on 3 years. My cuticles are not cut, my nails are not filed well, my best friend paid $150 (before tip) total for 2 mani/pedis and in my opinion that was way too much for what I personally got. Her service was way better. They actually tried and took their time and actually massaged her. Mine did both my mani/pedi in less time it took to do her pedi: mind you I had one nail tech working both services for me and she had 2 nail techs both working her mani and pedi at the same time and they took longer separately than I got for both services together from one lady. I've been passing by this place for years and don't know why I never stopped in. Looks can be deceiving. Wasn't busy which was nice. My "new" nail lady took her time and didn't rush. Which was a very nice thing. When you pay good money for your pampering you want to be treated like the only one and that's what she did. I've gone so many places around this area(LJ, Pearland and Houston) to get a decent pedicure but nothing beats Hollywood Nails. This pedicure is so luxurious and it's definitely a great way to spoil yourself. The hot wax, towels and stones feel amazing for tired, achy feet! I always walk in and I'm immediately greeted and taken to my pedicure chair. Normally Kevin does my pedicures but today I had a very nice older gentlemen. He was very sweet and asked if the water was an okay temperature and if the hot stones were too hot for me. He also takes a great pride in his job and make sure everything looks great. I definitely recommend this nail salon and this pedicure to any hard working person out there, you will enjoy it! read more

The third time I made an appointment and I was told the lady I requested would be available when I came in but when I got there they told me she only works the weekends... I had an awful experience! The senior man made my thumb bleed during the manicure! The base coat he applied on my nails were not even. When I mentioned my concern; he bluntly stopped me and said he had not finished. After he applied the top coat, he said everything was perfect! He fooled me completely! He even accused me as "first time doing a nail"! This is my first and last time doing nail at this place! The French nail I asked for was awfully ugly. I removed it immediately after coming back home. Waste of my time and money completely! Come to this place only when you want to get hurt and waste your money!!!!!! read more

Ok I recently relocated to the area and every nail shop does something a little different. However, I would strongly suggest you choose another shop. New Full Acrylic Set My full acrylic set looks like I've had it for a week or two, but I just got it done today! On top of that two of my nails are crooked! I tried explaining to the tech so she can fix it but she didn't speak very good English(and I wasn't expecting her to be fluent). Eyelash Extensions Ok everybody there said they looked good but, I guess I'm accustomed to a higher quality of service. I asked for the short length because I prefer a more natural looking extension; I think the longer lashes on my eyes gives me more of a dramatic look. She told me they had short lashes but all she did was cut the longer ones which affects the flare of the lash. Also, my lashes weren't identical on my left eye she didn't put extensions in the slant of my eye, but she did on the slant of my right eye. When I asked her about it she said I didn't have enough lashes on that eye.(Really??? My tech in my hometown has done perfect extensions when I was missing a whole patch of lashes). When I told her I thought it could be done she said it would be too itchy and fall off when I washed my face. Save your money try another spot. There are not many reviews for places in this area but I plan on changing that so others don't waste money like me. read more

This place was not good! My nails look good, however I was told when I made the appointment that what I wanted for my nails was going to be $25, then I picked my colors and was told it was $45. I also told them how I wanted my daughters nails done and when I get there they say that they cannot do it and that they would do the top coat Shellac nails and I asked will it stay on her nails because I need it to stay on and not come off right after they are done. They said Oh Yes it will stay on. I spent $110 on both of us. The next day her nail polish is coming off. NO SHE WAS NOT MESSING WITH IT! I called to tell them what they told me was not what happened and I was not happy spending that much money there when her nail polish just came off after 1 day. Instead of them trying to make things better the lady hung up on me. RUDE! I am very upset and will never go back to this place again. read more
