I came in from out of town and just needed a quick mani/pedi. I found this place and thought they'd be good be i definitely won't be coming back. They said they could see me quick but had me sitting in a chair with my feet soaking in cold water for 30 minutes. I could tell they were packed with people and the wait would be even longer than they quoted me. This salon is WONDERFUL! I had such a lovely experience this morning :) Everyone was so kind and asked all the right questions. They are quick without rushing, and do a fantastic job when it comes to nails. I am from Miami FL and have yet to find a salon as amazing as this one! Scheduled pedicures for me and my husband. We were greeted quickly. The pedicure bowls do not have a whirlpool and the chairs do not massage. While my pedicure went smoothly with a nice leg and foot massage my husband's did not, he had a toe nicked while trimming cuticles and no apologies were given. Remodeled, new owners (a sweet couple) and new technicians from when I came here several years ago. I like the style of nails they do. (Not so thick. Very thin and natural looking.). It was not crowded and was very relaxing. It's not a place to take a big group due to few technicians but if you want good one on one attention and a great pedi and mani I highly recommend. read more

This place was okay. This was our first time here and we had an appointment at 4. Our appointment was confirmed and I even asked to have out pedis done at the same time because we had a place to be at after. There were quite a few walk ins after us so in understand they were getting busy; but if you're unable to accommodate an appointment you probably shouldn't confirm it. Two of us got ours done and the third person in our party had to wait till we were almost done to get his started. Also, spending $35 on a 25 min pedicure is a little ridiculous. I usually go to a place in Houston and pay the same amount and it's not rushed or half assed. Called to make an appointment for me and my friend for mani & pedis. Arrived on time but had to wait a little while. The short wait wouldn't have been an issue if they wouldn't have sped us through so badly. The pedi service was better than the mani. Main issue with pedi is that he left polish on the skin of several toes and didn't massage my calf muscles like a typical pedi. My fingernails were natural going in. What the guy did for my mani was to spend less than 10 minutes on my nails and do it while I was sitting in the pedi chair so made me turn sideways uncomfortably. He barely did any cuticle work, left half of my nails very ragged on edges (I had to file them myself after I got home), and didn't buff my nails until they were smooth on top. He also didn't do any lotion nor any hand or arm massage. I was charged regular price for this 10 minute pseudo mani. Was sad to pay $60 for the poor service and total time spent with me for combined mani & pedi was 60 minutes. I've been here before and didn't have that poor of service. They have gone really downhill lately. Update: The polish on my toes is already peeling off after less than 3 days of wear! This is the worst quality pedi I've ever had. read more

This salon is under new management with new nail techs. John applied the best dipped nails of my life. I wanted a color that wouldn't have an obvious line of demarcation as it grew out. John selected the color. It has been 3 weeks and my nails still look great with no lifting even though I do cooking and dishes without gloves. I got in and out in a timely manner. I have never had such a horrible nail salon experience- the same guy did my nails both times I went. Once I got a manicure and once I got a pedicure, and both times he cut off my skin and made me bleed, and the first time he was screaming on the phone the entire time he was doing my nails to some customer service person and making the entire place uncomfortable. He also did not shape my nails at all and they look like a kindergartener did them. He also rushed through my entire pedicure and didn't offer the free wine until my friend and I specifically asked for it. I'm giving them one star because hopefully all the other people there aren't that bad but he is definitely the one running the place and it's extremely uncomfortable not to mention painful!! read more

My daughter and I visited Magic Nails today for the first time, and we will certainly be back! From the moment we walked into their very spacious, organized and tastefully decorated salon, we felt welcomed and completely at home. My daughter wanted acrylic nails for her fingers (fancy glittered tips), and I received a wonderfully relaxing and totally pain-free pedicure (seriously! pain free!). Honestly, my feet have never felt this smooth, and every SINGLE person who works there made us feel comfortable and our verbal exchanges/interactions were quite pleasant. We had a few conversations with some of the other customers, and they each said the same thing: "We love this place and wouldn't THINK of going anywhere else!" Observing the owners'/employees' interactions with all the other customers was nice, as it seemed as though they had all known one another/each other for years...customers were all ages. They have two large flat screen tv's, lots of lovely pedicure chairs and nail stations, a private room for waxing services, and even an adorable child's pedicure chair...so cute! The prices for services were quite affordable, and considering what you get along with the service(s) (ie: atmosphere, reception, etc), it is quite a steal, in my opinion! In the past, we've had less-than-great experiences with other local nail salons, and, as a result, are less than enthusiastic about trying the 'next one.' That has all changed as of today...woo hoo! We have absolutely 'found' our new nail salon and are so excited that the local search is over! We are really looking forward to going back soon. Thank you, Magic Nails! :) read more
