VERY, very good. I ordered the vodka sauce pasta and substituted shrimp for the sausage. It was delicious, and came in a huge portion. Also ordered a glass of wine, but they are very generous with their pours, which I loved. Both indoor and outdoor dining seem to be equally loved and enjoyed! read more

Oh my gosh this place was cute! And can't beat the happy hour prices lol We sat in the patio looking down the downtown Dublin. We had Italian chicken wings, aranchinis, mussels and $10 bottle of Chardonnay! Food tasted sooo good but my favorite was mussels I can't wait to go back there read more

We came here with a large party and the service was outstanding. We had a private room which was nice! The calamari and eggplant Parmesan were my favorite dishes. The whole group loved their food! I had brought a cake and the restaurant was nice enough to keep it refrigerated and provided us with extra plates for the cake! Excellent service! read more

I am going to give this place five stars due to service. I met three of my girlfriends tonight for a night out. Great happy hour. We had the house wine, a bottle is only $10. Wow! Not bad and you can't beat the price. The food was really good. I had the short ribs with gnocchi! Yummy! The best part was the general manager, Mike came out to check how our evening has been going. We got talking and joked about desert. He ended up bringing us two free deserts and poured us some extra free wine to go with desert. This guy was wonderful and interested in the yelp community as I told him I was a yelp elite and would give him a great review. So here it is. Also I would share with Jayme as a possible elite event. Yay!!! read more

We had a great dinner here out on the patio! The patio is gorgeous and it's fun to sit out there and people watch. The food was wonderful and the cocktail menu quite long. Unless you plan on having multiple drinks, don't get the pitcher of sangria, it's huge! read more

Our table ordered 3 steaks 1 rar e filet and 2 medium rare. They all came out over done by one level. The drinks we ordered were Manhattans and they were made with crushed ice which resulted in a watered down cocktail. Our coffees were served with no spoons so we used forks to stir in our cream. We ordered 2 deserts to go. For a $15 desert one was 2 bites size and the other was 1 bite or about 1 inch square like they ran out or just didn't care. For a Monday night it was a disappointment . read more

Came here for restaurant week with a reservation and sat on the patio -- great ambiance! It was super pretty and felt European out there. The food was fantastic, loved my Caesar salad and dessert, and the lasagna was great too. Felt like it was a little small relative to what I was expecting, but that could have been due to it being restaurant week. I thought it was all delicious and I'd definitely be back. Our server was great and really attentive and professional! read more

Awesome food, drinks and staff. We had our son's Graduation dinner in one of their party rooms. We had the best time. I dealt with Tina to make all the arrangements who was great. There were even customized menus with my sons picture on it. Everyone who attended cannot stop raving about it. The restaurant is beautiful, we had plenty of room to socialize before dinner. Highly recommend for a special occasion. We plan on returning for dinner. Thanks Mezzo! read more

Yup, this place is pretty solid non-mass market Italian. Heard a lot of good things and tried it for the first time a week ago. Plus it was nice to just get out . . . without offspring. But that's besides the point. We ordered the Arancini and the Cheese and Charcuterie board as starters. I ordered the Chicken Carbonara pasta and my wife got the Chicken and Broccolini Penne. Someone else with us got the Chicken Mezzo. Yeah, it was a poultry fest. Let's start with the Arancini. Little deep fried risotto balls. What's not to love here? It's fried rice!! I love fried rice!! Deep fried. In a ball. Encrusted with parmesan cheese. And served with scratch made marinara for dipping. So it's not exactly the fried rice of my homeland but I can appreciate a fried rice ball like the next guy. Crunchy crust that gives way to steamy, gooey, warm risotto. Very good. Cheese and charcuterie board was good. Not the best I've had but good selection. Looks like the cheese and meat selection changes and we had salame, mortadella, and prosciutto with smoked cheddar, gorgonzola and a hard sheep's milk cheese. I liked the protein items. Flavorful and fresh. Fruit was good except the cantaloupe could have been more ripe. I loved the carbonara. Even though I'm hopelessly lactose intolerant, it doesn't stop me from enjoying a good carbonara. Thick and smooth with grana padano cheese and served with bucatini pasta instead of the spaghetti that I've always had it with. I loved the bucatini. Think long, thin macaroni! Cooked perfectly al dente. The Chicken and Broccolini Penne dish was quite good as well. Not just your typical cream sauce but cream sauce with lemon grass. Nice taste profile. I didn't get to try the Mezzo Chicken but it's basically chicken parm over pasta. And was it one LARGE portion. You're not walking away hungry with this one. And the person who ordered it said it was really good. Decor and ambiance is warm and inviting. And pretty cozy. No disappointment here and I'd definitely come back. read more

Recently setup a large company and they were able to accommodate everyone. Tina was wonderful to work with and helped this all arranged. They even go the extra mile and put branded logos for company meetings. The day of the event the set up and food were great. Overall feedback from the out of town attendees was positive. Will use them again in the future. read more

Slow service, drinks were not the greatest, and the food was terrible. Definitely overpriced for what it is, specially when there's so many other options in the area. read more

Went to Mezzo for the first time and I was so surprised I haven't been here before! Great atmosphere and ambiance. Appetizer was absolutely great. Would get it again and again. The tomatoes being marinated is a game changer. The Vodka pasta was a little spicy for me- but if you like spice this is a great dish for you. Definitely want to go back and try so more! read more

Love this place! Intimate and fun. It's a great spot for food and especially wine in old historical Dublin:)

I've been to Mezzo twice now and both times have been great! The food and service have been incredible. The most recent time was actually for group dining. Our coordinator, Tina, was extremely helpful throughout the process. She was patient with me and all the questions I asked, and was always quick to respond when I did reach out (almost unbelievably quick)! It was a great experience from start to finish and the food and service once again delivered. I would recommend eating there for a date night and using them for any large, group dining events you may be doing. read more

We had a special occasion dinner at Mezzo and Wow! The planning was smooth, the service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Tina gave some excellent recommendations to help us plan the food for our guests and we were thrilled with the final menu. I only wish we had ordered more meatballs for an appetizer - everyone raved about how great they were! We had some special dietary restrictions and the manager came and spoke with our guest and made sure everything was perfect for him. All weekend our guests commented about the lovely dinner - the quality of the food, the comfort of the room, and the wonderful service. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. read more

Went here tonight on a date with my boyfriend. The service was not great, our server didn't even introduce himself the first time he came around and seemed very short and irritated. It was just overall not very friendly service--but it was pretty quick which we appreciated. We sat on the balcony and it was very beautiful, the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous as well. The food was alright, I got the Mezzo chicken and it was pretty good and my boyfriend got the gnocci which we would rate as a 6. Nothing special all around for this place. I would rate it a 7/10 but the service would bring it down to a 5/10. read more

Love, love, love this place. Great drinks, appetizers, and meals all around. Mel has been our server two times in a row and she is amazing. We will defiantly ask for her again. You must get the Arancini, my favorite around town. My husband loves their calamari. Dishes we love include their lasagna and wood fire pizzas. YUM! They have great indoor and outdoor seating. Go early on Saturdays and get drinks and just sit outside and enjoy people watching and the city of Dublin. read more

This was the first restaurant I have been to in almost three months and it was amazing. I came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, just us, for happy hour outside on the upstairs patio. yesterday we hosted a brunch to celebrate our wedding weekend coming to a close at Mezzo. their upstairs space was the PERFECT place to host our closest friends and family before they went back home. The food at Mezzo was terrific as well as the service, and ambiance at Mezzo was terrific.

Great food and drinks in a beautiful setting. The service was terrific. I had a veggie prima Vera and it was so fresh. Made with veggie noodles and seasonal veg in a light tomato sauce. The staff was knowledgeable and able to make great recommendations. One of the best dirty martinis in town. read more

Tonight's experience was horrible. We arrived at 7:50 pm tonight for my fiancés birthday and the service was terrible. First and foremost the cut corners on the food and drinks, second, I watched the manager Mike say to the only server "it's 8:30 people need to hurry up and leave". If I had actually been attended to in the 40 minutes prior maybe I would have left. Our server did not check on us once. I also overheard her talking to a table saying "our management sucks" terrible vibes and experience for over priced food. read more

Fresh, clean and tasty Greek food. You can't go wrong by trying them. I like to get their bowls, and then have a pita on the side.

Went for my Birthday and had a nice meal. The food is good but the price is a little high for what you get. This was our third time going and the first time was the best food-wise. The waitress we had this time was great! The entrance is wheelchair accessible as well as the restrooms. The parking is a bit down the street and the walkway getting to the entrance some may feel is hard to find. read more

Mezzo is within walking distance of my home but I hadn't been there in years because of mediocre food and poor service. But I decided to give it another try on Friday for an early dinner. Other than getting a shpeal (spelling? You know lengthy stupid excuse) about how booked up the were (mind you I'd reserved well in advance). Things went much better once we cleared the hostess station. We were seated outdoors per my request. Our server Hannah was delightful. Our grey goose cosmos were perfect and my melon salad w grilled chicken was very good. I'll go back. But really, can't you do something about the way you greet your patrons? read more

I'm not a dessert guy as a rule of thumb... but the white chocolate bread pudding is delicious. I'll take 3 please. And 1 to go...with a side of diabetic coma. Worth it. On top of that, everything else I've tried here is delicious. The calamari, scallops, ravioli...I could go on. Just make a reservation and try it all. Did I mention the bread pudding? On top of all that, the atmosphere is really awesome. Situated in old Dublin, the building obviously has some history but has been totally done up inside. Romantic spot to take the wife or just a nice night out. Beautiful patio in the warmer months. One heads up- It's easy to rack up a bill but you definitely get what you pay for... which is quality. And bread pudding. Bread pudding. read more
