Such a cute little location in Dublin. Loved that the theme was winter in Europe and it was in the wines, cocktails and decorations. We ordered gruner, mulled wine and gluhwein, which was so fun to try. A great place to stop and grab a drink or a bottle to take home.

I came here in September for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised! We made a reservation prior to coming. The website was not showing the availability that I wanted, but I sent them an email and they were able to accommodate us. When we arrived, half of our party was running late but they were very accommodating and sat us anyway. We tried some of the Savignon Blanc, Cabernet, and limoncello to drink and the melon and prosciutto salad. All the drinks were delicious and the server did a great job explaining the menu to us. The prosciutto and melon salad was delicious and so refreshing on a warm day. The overall vibe was great and everything was so cute. The only downside was we were outside and there were lots of bees, but it wasn't their fault and they even offered to find us a space inside if needed. Will definitely be coming back!

My wife wanted to sit outside and have a glass or two of wine. Sat out side sun was shinning. Wine for the wife and a beer for Me. Service was fine. A bit pricey for My liking, but my wife liked it so we will probably return at some time.

Cute little wine bar with wine, cocktails and snacks. They also have a small area for wine sales. I had a glass of wine for $17. Pretty expensive for what you get but a cute place to at least try once.

A charming little house filled with wine and good vibes. Right now, they are doing outdoor seating only and are taking online reservations. The patio is small, but really pleasant, and we enjoyed the good tunes they had playing that added to the experience. They have several options for small plates and we loved the watermelon and feta salad. Be sure to ask for some of the complimentary house snack mix. It's addictive. They have a "bottle shop" with an interesting variety of wines for sale. A lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon in Dublin.

I went here with a group of 6 on a Thursday and we rented out the heated tent for two hours. It was such a cute set up with a heater, Adirondack chairs, blankets, pillows, and music to match the vibe. We enjoyed several bottles of wine and a charcuterie board which was very good. Our waitress came out and served us in the tent and came back often to make sure we were doing okay. It was such a fun and unique experience and made for a lovely evening. There's a $200 spending minimum if you rent the tent and you can rent it for a max of 2 hours for up to 6 people. For my group this ended up being very affordable as we had 6 people in our group. All in all it was a great experience and I'll definitely be going back!

    Front porch. Great for pictures.

My son proposed to his girlfriend at the Wine House last night, and then we had family and friends come in for a party. I can't say enough about what a wonderful staff they have. From the very beginning, they were super accommodating. The food and drinks were great! The house is super cute. It was the perfect venue, but I would also go back for a glass of wine. Loved it!

$12 dollar corking fee?!!! Enough said. Went to mezzos instead. Place is cute but even the outdoor seating looked uncomfortable.

This place is super charming, comfortable, and has a calming atmosphere. I came here for one of their special events and it was so much fun! I had a samplings of several different types of wines and a charcuterie plate. The flight of wines had a sensible progression, so I really appreciated the selection! The charcuterie board was delicious and paired well with a wide variety of wines.

Coast Wine House is a lovely addition to the downtown Dublin area! Located in a remodeled house, the place isn't huge, it really only has two rooms with a handful of tables and a small bar. The gentlemen working were super attentive and brought over a drink list with suggestions. My friend and I both opted for their featured wines from Brick & Mortar. They have a small snack menu, but a surprising lack of desserts. We would have loved a lava cake or something chocolate to go with our wines. This is such a cute place for a girls night or to stop in for a glass of wine before or after dinner.

    Just a perfect evening!

Do not buy the pre-mixed pina colada! $20 and undrinkable. Had high hopes. Tired of my limited usual drinks. 614 advertised so I trusted.

Our server Kelcie, who was 5* by the way, helped us in navigating all the intricacies to the ingredients. Lots of nuance to the menu. Our choices: lamb appetizer, black cod, sirloin, and chocolate mousse; each were tasty, presented well, and excellent dishes. The potato cake on the steak was very different and well done. Our Old Fashion had a nice taste. The place is very small and reservations are a must. The GM Michael came by and chatted us up...to thank us for coming, and glad they were able to accommodate our food needs. Nice touch. Excellent bathrooms. Thanks for that. We were nervous at first because no one we talked to knew what Gene's was BUT we are SO SO SO glad we went! From the moment you step onto their property it was such an incredible experience. Who knew such a cute and quaint little restaurant could pack so much flavor and art into their food and such a personalized dining experience. While we had a reservation at 8:45, we decided to eat in at the bar after having the most incredible espresso martini of our lives and talking to John. My sister and I opted to share multiple courses - each of which was better than the last. It was an amazing experience and we were lucky enough to compliment and thank the executive chef in person. We left full and satisfied but not stuffed which is exactly what we were looking for! HIGHLY recommend Gene's if you're looking for an elevated dining experience and great service while in Dublin, Ohio!

Small little table for two in main dinning area! There was a warm ambiance at the bar seating that is elevated from the main floor. Half price bottles of wine (up to $50 off), but not a single Cabernet on the menu under $100 so I went with an old fashioned. It was good, but I was a bit surprised a fancy place like this wouldn't use big rocks. Daughter had the espresso martini which was excellent. Their bread is served with an oil and tomato concoction that was to die for. Actually, I'm not sure if it was tomatoes or peppers, but it was crazy good. I think they sell it by the jar. For dinner I had the chicken parm. The chicken itself was okay, with the breading falling off in places , not overly crispy. Also, not overly large, but just fine for one meal. I'm used to taking half of it home, but this was just a bit larger than a half portion I would usually relegate myself to. The game changer was the red sauce. Holy cow was it good! A bit sweat, full bodied, just delicious. I wish they bottled that to take home! It was that good and more than made up for the mediocre service. About that, the waiter was friendly enough, just not that bright or attentive. I had asked for crushed red pepper when I ordered the chicken parm, which he never brought. It seemed that we waited forever for the check, then after paying, I realized I never got my credit card back. Waited for the kid to come back around, but he must have gone to the can to burn a mule, as he was no where to be found. I walked over to the server area and saw my card lying on top of the card reader, which I retrieved on my own. Normally, this experience would irritate me to no end and result in a poor review, but that red sauce was just sooooo good. Will definitely come back and try something else in that same sauce. Oh, and happy birthday to me! The complementary chocolate moose and the presentation was perfect.

While there were a few minor service issues, our server was kind and attentive and acknowledged the celebration with complimentary desserts, which we truly appreciated. After dinner, my cousin and I went to wash our hands and use the restroom. At the time, all stalls were occupied and one was out of service, so we waited. When a stall opened, my cousin kindly let me go first. I finished and stood outside the stalls waiting for her for about three minutes. During that time, I noticed several people going in and out of the restroom area. I also saw a man sitting in a chair along the hallway wall near the stalls, hunched over. Shortly after, a woman exited the restroom and grabbed him to leave. I thought nothing of it and minded my own business. I also observed the executive chef enter one of the restroom stalls. When my cousin exited, she mentioned that the stall smelled strongly of smoke and that three girls had exited the stall before she entered. She said the stall smelled like marijuana but used it only because it was the only option available. She also pointed out that the man sitting outside appeared to be associated with the group who had been in the stall. We then returned to our patio table where our family was seated. Our server brought out her birthday pie along with another complimentary dessert. She blew out the candle, we shared dessert, and we began preparing to leave. A few minutes later, while we were still seated on the patio, the general manager, Nick Krafft, approached our table accompanied by Executive Chef Michael Wagner. We initially assumed he was checking in on our experience. Instead, he immediately stated, "I'm going to have to ask you not to smoke in our restaurant and bathroom," directing the accusation at my cousin and me. We were completely taken aback by both the accusation and the manner in which it was delivered. We calmly explained that it was not us and described exactly what we had observed in the restroom. We stated that neither of us smoke and never have. We even offered to have our belongings checked and explained that we had not taken any jackets or purses with us to the restroom, as our family remained at the table. Despite this, the general manager refused to listen or consider our explanation and continued to place blame on us. He did not speak to our server, who had interacted with us just moments earlier while bringing out the birthday dessert, nor did he attempt to investigate further or de-escalate the situation. As we were leaving, my fiancé asked the general manager if he actually smelled smoke on either of us. He responded "yes," which was not true, and continued to push a conclusion he had already formed. No apology was offered. We spent over $1,000 celebrating a family birthday at a restaurant we had trusted and enjoyed in the past. Instead, the evening ended with my cousin's birthday being overshadowed by an unfounded accusation. There were many guests dining that evening, yet blame was placed solely on two women who had simply used the restroom. I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my cousin is a special education teacher for autistic children. Neither of us have ever smoked. Being accused in this manner was humiliating, hurtful, and completely unnecessary. I was later contacted by the regional manager, who was understanding. However, I believe this situation highlights the need for better investigation, accountability, and staff training to prevent similar experiences in the future. A personal apology from Nick, acknowledging his actions and taking accountability, would be an appropriate step forward after innocent guests were wrongly blamed and a birthday celebration was ruined.
