I go everyday for lunch and I've yet to be disappointed. The food is always great, the staff is " normally" great lol. And Omar at the counter always gets my order straight. Consider this me standing on a soap box and yelling at you to go to Mezeh read more

I like this spot. Reminds me of a upscale version of chipotle. Nice selections and they have different or more meat selections. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I didn't care for any of the sauces they have. I unfortunately went to chipotle and got their sauce dressing and BAM! A beautiful combination was made lol. I did meet the owner when they first opened and he was really cool and offered to allow our basketball special Olympics to eat there. The servers that were there at the time I was there weren't the best with attitudes but the owner told me they had been replaced. I'll allow the 4 stars to stand until I visit again. read more

Extremely good (food) Customer service could be better, they skip customers instead of going in order... nothing major tho read more

It's like a chipotle but Greek and a little more expensive. It's a unique experience and you feel healthy but you know it's not lol. Probably won't go there more than twice a month. The food is great tho just not my cup of tea. Four stars for food options and service. read more

Good price, large portions, great quality ingredients. This will be a regular stop for me from now on!

This place is the bee's knees. I'll admit that my fatty @$$ is going to be stopping here often to get Mediterranean salads on the regular. Delicious!! Watch out, tho... When they say spicy they mean spicy!! read more

Food was good but found a hair in my food and I think people should start wearing hair nets so please inforce that it's a health hazard

Delicious, fresh Mediterranean ingredients served in a spotless environment with very friendly service. One of our family members is prone to allergic reactions at most restaurants, but enjoyed the food here with no problem. We will be returning to Mezeh whenever we are in Hampton. read more

Absolutely amazing food! Everything is so flavorful and vibrant! And the portion sizes are fantastic! The staff is so sweet and knowledgeable! Plus they have so many vegan options! Definitely will be back soon! read more

This place has fresh variety to choose from for some delicious Mediterranean food. I had a bowl with falafel and spicy chicken and aaaalllll the toppings, including the DELICIOUS pickled carrots and pickled onions. Service was on point too, the lovely lady behind the counter patiently explained the process and let me sample a few things to help me decide. Will definitely be a frequent customer! read more

I would say my money is well spent here. I have not ordered any meat or dairy products but there vegetables and falafels are yummy. I really like the sauces (the mango one lol) that they have available and it's a healthier choice than most to-go places. read more

It's high quality Mediterranean food served chipotle style. I didn't even need the sauce because the ingredients and flavors of the salad bowl I got were sooooo delicious. The staff is kind of loud and obnoxious but the food was so worth it.. I wanted to lick the bowl! Thank you for existing and making salads great again! read more

My fav place to eat. They have great options! I usually do DoorDash due to wait times. But when I do dine in staff is happy and friendly . Highly recommend for vegans ! read more

Fresh food. Good variety. I low key am in love with the caramelized eggplant and the tabouleh. Had my first visit yesterday but I will be back! read more

I first was introduced to Mezeh in DC and loved it, so I was really excited to have one in Hampton! We have been to this location three times now and the food has been pretty good. The service is lackluster at best, the employees don't seem to care, and there are usually only one or two persons working the line, which can get really busy at lunch and dinner. I wish the service would be better, probably never going to get to Chick Fil A's "my pleasure" level but they need to step it up. Today I got some wrong toppings because the employee wasn't paying attention and also got charged for two drinks when we asked for one. My hubs loves the wraps and I'm a big fan of their bowls. It's definitely a Mediterranean Chipotle. read more

Mezeh was good, but the falafel wasn't what I expected. The food was nice, but the containers leaked greasiness all over the car and dining table. Will try again. read more

Very good spot. Nice ingredients. Very different, but delicious drinks. Healthy choice

Food was delicious and the sodas were sooo good. Lots of variety of sodas and not brand named. read more

Mezeh - Bowl with almost everything - Mediterranean Near Me - Hampton, Virginia

Ok, this is THE place to get a rainbow of fresh choices to eat. I chose the lamb with rice and spinach and loaded on a plethora of healthy toppings and LOVED it. They have so many choices that it is hard to single out what you want. The juice bar looks exciting. Nice, clean place. Got in and out quick too. I will be back. read more

Hands down best place to grab a bite to eat! Chipotle style serving but with Mediterranean food! The food is pretty authentic and home cooked in house! I love this place I hope more locations open over the bridge! read more

The food is good and the prices are reasonable. Feels healthier than chipotle. The greens are always fresh (no slimy spinach). It is a convenient location and they are always polite and fast. read more

Fresh, delicious, healthy food with lots of choices to customize your experience. Any diet or culinary lifestyle can be accommodated here. Friendly staff. Just a great meal that actually will become two since the portions are generous. Go! You won't be disappointed. read more

Staff were incredibly helpful and explained the different options. It was so delicious and filling that I barely wanted to move after!

I went there to try their food. It was good. The choices for a bowl with bread. Next time I'll go in and eat it there.

The food was great, however, I ordered the vegetarian bowl and half the veggies were left off. On the receipt, they crossed through the ones they didn't have. If I had known those veggies weren't available, I would have substituted for something else. Further, I was charged the entire price of the bowl even though half the veggies weren't included. Again, the food is great, but the experience was terrible. read more

Fantastic!!!! Would give 10 stars if I could! Delicious food that is very fresh. I had a homemade pita and was able to customize it to fit my diet. There are loads of options to choose from, as well as spicy options for those who like that. Very friendly staff as well. I will definitely be going back! read more

I'm glad to see another Mediterranean spot open up in the area. It's even better that it's a fast service! They have a variety options which is great. My boyfriend and I split a bowl and it was enough for us; however, we weren't as hungry. It's about a good enough portion for a regular human being & still have leftovers! We had the shredded lamb and steak shawarma and it was DELICIOUS. They are so many toppings to choose from, it took me awhile to decide because they all look soooo appetizing! The sauces are great too, might wanna sample them if you're unsure of what they are! Overall a great experience and I will be coming back for more especially to try out their drinks! read more

Food was absolutely amazing. They were the only place open at 8pm for pickup after I got off work. Tasted fresh and well seasoned. My boyfriend and I built salads and they have so many options for all types of diets. We built "keto friendly" meals and let me tell you I could make a meal out of their caramelized eggplant. Will definitely be back, and often. read more

What a genius new place! Mediterranean bowls. You pick and base and toppings- so many to choose from. The ik inside is beautiful. A favorite of ours read more

I am rating this place 1 star due to the way I was treated by the manager on duty. I enjoy the food and have been here regularly. I don't think I will return any time soon. I placed an online order around 4:30 with a pick up estimate of 4:58 provided by app. I arrived 5 minutes early and skipped the line, cashier informed me that they were starting my order next. More people come in and join the line, workers start to fix their meals I decided it would benefit me to get in line. One employee works with the people who came after me but are in line before me, while a second employee is fixing my online order it is after 5:00 now. All is fine until a manager comes from the back to take over the register and instructs the woman preparing my order to stop and help with people in front of me. I informed the manager that I was an online order and in store before the people "in front" of me. He then hand gestures for the employee to do as he directed and tried to ignore me. After more complaint from me he comes down and says "I have to help the people in front" I explain again that I was online and in store before these other people. He then says "well I am helping you now or you can get a refund" at that point I accepted the refund offer. Very disappointed in his behavior. I understand confusion that I appeared to be in back of line but after he was informed he should have apologized and directed his employee to finish my order instead he did the opposite. This was 6/25/19 around 5pm I believe he said his name was Pablo but I may have that wrong. read more

It's about time Mezeh came to the Hampton roads! It's something that I actually crave...

So if I had left a post after my initial visit it for sure would have been 5 stars. But, than I boasted and raved about the restaurant to my friends which played as a segway for our second visit that wasn't as impressive as the first. I'm not sure if we caught them on a bad night or whatever the case may have been but they seemed to be extremely understaffed and the customer service reflected the staff's frustration as a result. We waited in line for about 15 minutes as one person made orders for about 5 people while one worker was in the back putting bread in the toaster and the other was sitting down in the dining area (I assume it was her break). The guy (whom was making the pita) eventually got irritated with how long it was taking the young lady to make the orders and came up to "help". I ordered a bowl with 1/2 Kabab Chicken, 1/2 Lamb Kaleb, White Balsamic Rice, Couscous, Turkish Salad, Feta Cheese, Olives, and then it was slid down for the sauces which at this time the person that was on break came to put on the sauces. I asked for Tzatziki sauce (which everyone knows is one of the most popular Mediterranean sauces) and the girl first attempted to squeeze sauce from an already empty bottle before just saying ma'am we are out of the sauce.... I then looked at my watch to make sure I wasn't confused about the time. It was approximately 840 pm and the restaurant closes at 10. She than said we are understaffed, with no care in the world. Honestly, I was tickled and a bit surprised that she was so nonchalant. I than asked for Turkish sauce and continued on my way because I could sense the irritation from behind the counter. The food was still delicious but, the customer service on the second visit... not so much. Which sucks because I was really happy to have a med restaurant closer to home. Not to say I won't ever go back, but I won't be a frequent patron like I thought I might be. read more

I happened upon this place because I work nearby. I have to say that I ESPECIALLY loved this place because I have food allergies, and the manager on staff was so unbelievably helpful to me. I have very specific allergies, so he took a menu and went down every single item and circled and crossed out what I should and should not eat. Most places do not take the time to do that. They usually just wait till I pick something and then I have to ask for ingredients.. it's a whole tedious and annoying process for me. This was ONE place that made it SO EASY for me. As for the food, I enjoyed it. It honestly didn't taste like some of the more authentic Mediterranean foods available around here. But I don't discourage anyone from going here. The facilities are nice and clean, well lit.. the food is great, price point is not bad at all and serving size is large. I wasn't able to eat everything in one sitting. That's always a plus for me! read more

I like Mezeh and whenever we know we will be near one, we usually stop for lunch. The food is great and I like all the options they have. The problem is this particular Mezeh location. Of the five or six different locations my wife and I have been to, this one is consistently in rough shape. Today was no different. First, I don't think the air was working or maybe the chose to keep it off. Not too big of a deal except one of the employees was clearly sweeting a lot and I didn't want him to handle my food. Also, not sure if they have a uniform but his shirt had several holes in it and didn't look very professional. Next, the soda and drink area. I guess they were having issues because the ice machine wasn't working but they still have some juice in the dispensers to the right. It look like it was all old juice and there was a lot of sediment on the bottom since they weren't running. But the employees didn't mark off the juice or say anything so I saw a couple customers try the juice and quickly dump it out for some warm soda. The rest of the restaurant just looks dirty and the employees seem to have zero pride in working there. I hope they turn this location around, it seems to be in rough shape. read more

Noticed this new addition to PTC and stopped in for lunch. It had literally just opened two or three days ago and were in the middle of their "soft opening" week. There is still some outdoor work to do, but by the time warmer weather rolls around they will have a nice patio seating outside. The concept is fast casual in similar style as Chipotle, but with Mediterranean food (but I guess you already knew that with the name). You can get three different servings - bowl, wrap, stuffed in pita. I choose the bowl and started with brown rice, and got the Chicken Shawarma as the protein. Then a smattering of the toppings and had the S'hug sauce. Everything was good... food was well prepared and seasoned, and very tasty. Only thing was the bowl was a little too much for me... I would have preferred a smaller portion (perhaps you could get the wrap in a smaller bowl). After lunch I spent some time talking with the general manager. He is really excited about the opportunity to share this new concept in Hampton and looks forward to their grand opening. I will definitely be back. read more

Mezeh - Menu - Mediterranean Near Me - Hampton, Virginia

See all

A lot like Cava in Northern Virginia, but friendlier service and no nickel & dime-ing on the extra scoops of this or that.

It's pretty much chipotle with Mediterranean food. Lots of variety even though I stumbled through ordering as I didn't know which combinations would work. About $10 with a drink. I'll be going back :) read more

So many options and varieties that I've been 6 or 7 times and I'm able to try new flavors with eat visit.

First time visiting. Restaurant was dirty, food all over the floor in the prep area. No menus hanging so we had no idea what we should order, and of course no prices either. They were out of black olives, and out of pita croutons. We almost left, and after we tried the food we wished we would have left when we wanted to after we first walked in. I got the brown basmati rice in my bowl and it was like eating hard plastic pieces of rice. Unfortunately, we won't be back. $26 later, neither of us enjoyed our dinner. read more

My ex and I would go here allllll the time because we're both Vegan. This is chipotle on Mediterranean steroids it's so good, they give large portions of food and the service is always amazing read more
