Pick up day, they arrived on time, worked fast and Vitaly and his collegue were pleasant to work with. They wrapped our furniture carefully and off it went to overnight storage. When we got our keys, Vitaly was excellent at communicating when they picked up our furniture and every box and piece of furniture was delivered, assembled and zero breakage or scratches. I recently moved on boxing day on a very cold day in Toronto. Despite the very cold weather, I have to say this was the best move for me to date. They showed up right on time, they were professional, courteous, friendly and even believe it or not, very smiling and joking around amongst themselves while still being professional. They were efficient with time and it was a team of 3 movers. Ilia was my point of contact when booking the move. I could tell right from he beginning that this move was going well, so we provided coffees in the morning and got the team pizza for lunch. Service was good, professional and fast. What I didnt like was the fact that they wouldn't come to do an estimate and told us what we needed but when they arrived told me I needed another truck and 3 more guys. After hearing my frustration they were able to get it done. Also, we had them till 6 but once the load was done at 4 they didn't want to go back for the few remaining items. That was annoying because I had to bring the rest. To be fair, the guys they sent were top notch, careful and worked hard. Downsizing after 17 years in one house was no small task. Metro Movers North was a lifesaver. We were convinced we could do the packing ourselves and when we got overwhelmed they made time for us and came when we fell behind! I can't say enough about the high quality service provided by Gari's team at GTA North! All our upholstered furniture was wrapped. Wood furniture like dining room set and delicate items such as tv's were wrapped in quilted blankets. They were extremely careful with our walls and there were no scuff marks. All 3 guys were friendly, helpful and very courteous. I've had hellish moves in the past and therefore was dreading this move. But I was very pleasantly surprised. They are beyond professional. They make sure everything is places in the truck with such care. They always double check before they load the truck to make sure certain items get loaded properly. I love how they take the time to wrap everything so it doesn't get damaged. They made my sofa look fancy and new. This was the second time we used them. We will continue using them for all our moves.
