A team of caring and intelligent educators and leaders. We…read morehave been at The Springs for near a year now. We started the application process pre COVID and entered during the summer program which secured our slot for the fall, so my experience is limited to the Toddler Program (my child started at 22 months old) during the pandemic. For background, I have had my now toddler in a chain daycare (Kindercare) and a great in home daycare but those are true daycares vs a Montessori school so they are completely incomparable. I only have laudatory remarks about the professionalism and care of The Springs. Mr. Dan, The Head of School (HoS), and Ms. Katelyn the Assistant HoS are absolute leaders. Incredibly responsive to any request and communicative on all aspects of the school, I trust their judgment and appreciate all the efforts to remain operational during COVID. Our teacher Ms. Katelyn D., and her assistant teachers Ms. Belkin and Ms. Ethel are amazing with the children and my tot is THRIVING! I have sent emails late on a Friday or Saturday night to Ms. Katelyn D.,not expecting a response until the next working day, only to find a reply in my inbox within hours. Professional and dedicated, I feel a sense of team between the educators and parents as all focus is on the child. The Springs Montessori has me a true believer in the Montessori methods and although yes, it is more expensive than the other daycares my peace of mind for the well being of my child and results of my happy kiddo worth the price tag. Some perks: -A daily report of diaper changes/ what was eaten/ nap length so you can plan your evening -Catered lunches- no oops I forgot the lunch box on the table moments, such a time saver -Parent teacher conferences- yes for a TWO year old, it's awesome -Weekly photos of your child engaging in activities at school -virtual learning options -online portal to track your child's milestones and communicate on routine admin requirements Things to consider: -It's a school, not a day care, school schedules include seasonal breaks -when things get back to normal the kids wear a uniform, I love this but it does add cost -the parking lot is not great, it's busy! Between the parking lot and COVID mitigation, allot extra time for drop off/ pick up Bottom line- I love this school and my child loves this school too.

Not worth the crazy amount of tuition they charge. Find somewhere else, you DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Most people know Adventure Links for their popular camp programs for children and teens. However, they also offer stellar corporate team building programs, which is how I got to know them. About five years ago, as the CEO of a growing company of 20 professionals, I was struggling with how to address some growing pains and spice up our upcoming quarterly retreat. A friend recommended Adventure Links, so I scheduled a meeting with Anna, the CEO. Anna came to my office and interviewed me to understand my business, our challenges, and what I hoped to accomplish. She asked many questions, listened, and took notes. The next week, we took our team of 20 to their retreat location. Anna and her team had put together an all-day agenda of activities that went way beyond simple ropes courses. What surprised and "sold" me on them was how she'd managed to incorporate our growing pains into her exercises in meaningful ways. Sure, we had fun and bonded, but more importantly most of us began to see certain everyday problems in meaningful new ways, with fresh solutions. To this day our team references those exercises like old Seinfeld episodes. After each exercise - some physically challenging and all mentally challenging - Anna would bring us together and help us draw correlations to some of our corporate issues. It helped that she has a sharp wit and great sense of humor. She and her team also knew when to push and put us on the spot to drive home a point. Six months later, we wanted to bring Adventure Links back for another quarterly retreat, but this time due to bad weather we had to do the exercises in our office. They totally pulled it off! The indoor exercises were unique and again gave us a fresh perspective on both issues and people. An example - during one intense exercise where we split into two teams, a junior staff person had a "eureka!" moment with a brilliant solution to a problem, and spontaneously took control of our team, which included several executives. I had no idea this young lady was so intellectually gifted and capable of leadership under pressure. How valuable is that information for an employer? My firm has engaged Adventure Links several times since then, all with success. When my children are old enough, I'll be sending them to the Adventure Links camps...I know they'll learn and have fun. Adventure Links rocks!

I know they're new and still adjusting, so I hope this isn't a consistent issue. That said, someone (Lisa as we learned) showed up a few minutes later and let us in, started turning on lights and turning up the heat, and gave us a quick tour. She was super nice and friendly and great with my 3.5yo daughter. We were the only ones there for the class so my daughter had one-on-one time for about 15 minutes until another family showed up. (They actually combined the two separate-age classes because there were only three kids...so there were two instructors for three kids. I am sure this will change as more people find out about this place and classes fill up.) The kids were definitely having fun. The building looks nice and clean and well-maintained. There are a handful of chairs in the lobby, multiple restrooms on both levels, and a play room for the littles. There's also a big waiting room for parents (that overlooks the gym area) with great natural lighting, some wheeled desk chairs and side chairs, and a few small tables. The gym area is huge with lots of equipment and mats. There's a nice area with restrooms and cubbies. As it's a huge warehouse-type space, it was a bit chilly...but then, they had just opened and turned the heat up. On my way out of the waiting room I saw a sign for wifi and tried connecting but it was password protected so I'll ask about it at our next class. As we left, the small parking lot was full. There is some street parking available but that seemed pretty full as well from the other businesses. I can see this potentially being an issue once classes fill up. (If there's more parking elsewhere it wasn't marked.) Overall I was quite impressed with the facility, though I have zero experience as this is our first foray into gymnastics. And all the employees I dealt with were nice (there was a front desk person there as I left).

At no point did I have meaningful interaction with professional staff. The individuals receiving my child each class appeared to be students themselves, and I was never introduced to or engaged by an instructor. That lack of visibility and communication contributed significantly to my concerns. Additionally, describing my child as "sassy" felt both inaccurate and inappropriate. If there were any behavioral concerns, I would have expected clear, timely, and constructive communication rather than a label that does not reflect her character or our experience. More importantly, programs like yours should have experienced instructors who are equipped to teach, guide, and help shape children--not label them and write them off. I also want to emphasize that while I understand programs may prioritize competitive tracks, recreational participants still deserve structure, engagement, and a pathway for growth. A better balance--and a more intentional onboarding or orientation process--would go a long way in helping families feel informed and supported from the start. My intention in sharing this feedback is not to dispute for the sake of it, but to highlight areas that could be improved for future families. There are so many programs that we could consider. I wrote so that it brings light to you that there could be some improvements.

When class was over and the children were in line to get out of class to go with their parents, my daughter saw Me and wanted to run out to me and Ms.Gina said "No! Get back in line" a little aggressively but I didn't think too much about it. my daughter started crying hysterically, she got back in line and I couldn't see her anymore but could hear her crying hysterically. Ms.Gina didn't see that I saw her telling her to get back in line. When my daughter got out of the class, she was extremely upset and still crying. That's when Ms.Gina said "she tripped that's why she's crying" We don't care that she told my daughter to get back in line but lying about it is very worrisome. We were still giving her the benefit of the doubt even though that incident wasn't sitting right with us. Later that night we watched the video of the class recording and what we saw made us angry and horrified! It was clear Ms.Gina was frustrated with my daughter. In one clip she tells my daughter "can you STOP" very aggressively and in another clip she grabs my daughter by her hair. I emailed the executive director and owner of the studio, Kendra with the screen recordings of those two incidents and not only did she defend and make excuses for her personal friend Gina, she also said she continues to be as proud as ever to have Gina as a member of their staff and Perfect Pointe family. I'm sharing this so others are aware.

I'm giving 3 stars because most of his time there was in the infant room and I want to start by saying the infant room teachers are fabulous. It seems they really get to know the babies, their habits, and personalities very well and they were truly so loving towards my son. Never once did he cry and not want to go into class when we dropped him off... until he was switched to the toddler room at 16 months. I didn't feel the same warm, inviting feeling from the toddler teachers. My son was hesitant going to that class. And within the first 2 weeks, he had had 3 accident reports that left bumps and bruises for days. We had been able to find a new day care, but he was going to be staying at the NOVA early learning academy for 2 more weeks. After giving the 2 weeks notice, I began getting a strong sense that the teachers were a bit indifferent towards him. He would be penned up with maybe one other child or by himself. Something just felt off. Then when picking him up towards the end of that first week, he ran over to me and I had to pull an OPEN STAPLE from his mouth. The teachers barely seemed concerned. No apologies from them at all. Just an excuse the HE must have pulled it from the bulletin born in the classroom (that is all within the kids' reach). The director eventually called to apologize.... But my trust in them was completely lost. I didn't bring him back there to finish his last week. I should have trusted my gut. And I'm thankful, I caught it in his mouth as soon as he ran up to me.

When we were researching preschools, we were nervous about finding the right fit. Even after going through all the tours and asking around, we felt more confused and unsure. In the end, we decided to enroll our kid at NVA and could not be happier with this decision! I've been thoroughly impressed with the care, love, and education provided. My oldest has loved it here since day one and has truly blossomed (socially and educationally). When we do drop off and pickup, the kids are all excited to be there. In fact, a lot of the kids have older siblings that attended NVA, which is a really good sign. All the classrooms are geared perfectly to the age group and the teachers do a phenomenal job of making learning fun. The things they learn at a young age have surpassed my expectations. Even my Mom, who has 30+years of teaching experience and advanced degrees in early education, is blown away by the learning environment here. NVA has played a BIG role in my son's development and for that I am forever thankful. My youngest is in the infant room and the teachers are AMAZING - they could not be more kind, patient and loving. It's a true blessing to be able to drop your baby off and know that they are in a safe and nurturing environment. We were nervous about putting our baby in a bigger center, but the teachers and staff make you feel like you are the only parent and always take the time for any questions or concerns. I don't know how they do it! All of that said, I could not recommend NVA enough. I hope this review will help you and good luck finding the right place for you and your kid!
