With a big play area, swings, good amount of picnic tables, bbq, and plenty of parking. And although we didn't have to use them; there were restrooms available as well! This park is next to a public school and we were able to walk to the other side of the tennis courts to enjoy the other playground that was part of the school's. My nephews had a fun time here. So much that I had to literally pull them into the car to go home! Lol We will be coming back for sure!

April 2023 Park updates:…read more Pedestrian bridge is now open! I recently took the opportunity to both ride my bike and to walk the 4 mile loop around Lake Accotink. So happy now that the pedestrian bridge is open so I can start at the marina and complete the loop without having to turn around at the mid-point. The children's playground is closed for repairs until further notice. A message on the park's website indicates there is no timetable for when repairs will be completed: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/lake-accotink Bummer since I came here this past weekend with my niece and nephew and they weren't able to enjoy the facilities. Oh well, at least we were still able to enjoy the nature trail.

I had a very disappointing experience with the Spring Flagship at The St. James Sports Complex. The…read morecustomer service is honestly some of the worst I've dealt with at a facility like this. One of their representatives, Daisy, was especially rude and disrespectful when I tried to ask simple questions. Instead of helping, she seemed annoyed and dismissive the entire time. On top of that, their website is extremely unhelpful and rarely has up-to-date information. It makes it frustrating to try to find accurate details about schedules, amenities, or programs. The condition of the facility itself is also very disappointing for a place that promotes itself as a premium sports complex. The pool house is constantly messy and poorly maintained, and the gyms are in some of the worst condition I've seen at a facility like this. Equipment and areas often look neglected, which really makes you question how well the place is being managed. Overall, between the poor customer service, lack of reliable information on their website, and the condition of the facilities, I wouldn't recommend the Spring Flagship location. There are much better-run gyms and sports facilities in the area.

Every time I brought my daughter to this park we brought our standard poodle and nobody complained. Everyone is super friendly. The park seems pretty new and the grounds are well kept. I love how they have baby/toddler swings and they also have two different play grounds. One for older kids and the other for younger kids. It helps keep kids more safer.
