Polite, professional, very reasonable and efficient. I don't how he was able to get a specialized passenger window for my BMW within days, but he did, and it came early. Very responsive in communicating so as soon as he received the window, he met me to install at a place most convenient to me and schedule. Had major vandalism done to my windshield and these people said they could be at my place at 2. Then at 2:15, when no one called or showed, I texted and he told me he could be at my place at 2:45pm. Then he called back to say they didn't have my windshield available (I have a Corolla, so not really an exotic find.) so, they basically just wasted my time. They were referred to me by my insurance carrier. Even though I was paying out of pocket, I wanted someone that has been working with big companies and has been vetted. Very friendly service, job was detailed, he took his time, quoted a great price and honored that price. Great value, job well done. Can recommend. Backstory - I was driving my wife's car into D.C. b/c my car was in the shop. I parked her car for an hour on a busy street. It being D.C., a roving band of vandals decided to start breaking random windows in Dupont b/c what else does a roving band of vandals do. The cops ignored the citizens' phone calls to report the destruction of property because "only the property owner can initiate a police report." Really?!?! Mike did excellent work, and demonstrated responsiveness and flexibility. We changed locations for the windshield replacement, and he had no problem with it. He found a replacement windshield when they are in short supply. And he accurately recalibrated the safety systems on our Subaru, which is complex. I was very happy with Metropolitan Auto Glass. I needed a new front windshield for a Honda Odyssey I found them up on yelp. They were close to my house, so I called for a quote. There quote was a lot less than I was expecting. I offered to bring my car in, but they have a small lot, so they asked to come to my home. I texted them my address. They showed up on time (heat index of 100+) and replaced my windshield. The process took about an hour. We paid with a check. I had cracked windshield in my BMW i3. I had submitted insurance claim and insurance company assigned claim to Safelite glass which seem to be a big chain and specialized in auto glass. However, when I took my car there, they said they got a wrong glass and they don't have anyone with experience on i3. I called their customer service and several locations many times and spent several hours calling. Finally I asked insurance company to reassign job to another company and Metropolitan did the job. I just needed to talk to Michael for few minutes and he confirmed VIN to ensure he gets correct part and confirmed the time on next day. He came to my work so I didn't have to go anywhere.
