They opened the locked cases for me and allowed me to browse through the options. I found 8 pairs that I liked, so I went to schedule an appointment for a later time. The Optometrist working spoke up and said I can do an eye exam now if you have 15 minutes. I was thrilled! It truly did take about 15 minutes. I ended up purchasing glasses that day. They did try to sell me some extras which is pretty normal, however, I didn't feel forced into buying any of it which was refreshing. They told me 2 weeks and I got a text within 1 week to pick them up. Quick in and out there too. Truly satisfied with my experience here!

I've been a loyal Fraser Optical customer for years, always choosing their top-quality lenses and…read moretaking great care of my glasses. Unfortunately, this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with any business. Within one year, my lenses have cracked three separate times -- always in the same spot and always within 1-2 months of getting them replaced. I have never dropped or damaged my glasses. This has never happened to me before, and I usually keep my lenses for 3-4 years without issues. When I went back to the store to address the problem, the manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of helping me understand why this keeps happening or offering a real solution (like checking or replacing the frame), he told me there was nothing more they could do and that after this remake, I'd be "on my own." When I said I might dispute the transaction since I wasn't getting the service I paid for, he told me to leave the store and sarcastically said, "good luck with the dispute." It was humiliating to be treated that way, especially in front of my wife and kids. I paid over $600 for what I thought would be quality lenses and customer service -- and instead, I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. I've always supported local businesses, but I cannot recommend Fraser Optical after this experience. Quality products mean nothing if the management doesn't stand behind them or treat customers with basic respect.

Their customer service was exceptional. Picking out new eyewear can be tough, but they turned it into the most fun and professional experience I've ever had. I had been putting off going to the eye doctor for years due to bad past experiences, but this visit changed everything. Dr. Lauren Sparschu is hands-down the best optometrist I've ever seen. In the past, I avoided getting new glasses because I felt like my prescription was always too high, and I never fully trusted the results. Dr. Sparschu was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all my questions with ease. She made me feel completely comfortable and confident in her care. You just don't find staff like this anymore. From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. I highly recommend this team--thank you, Morgan, Vickie, and Dr. Sparschu!

Over the years I've also 'seen' Dr. Shick and Dr. Kalkofen. I've always had superb service no matter who was taking care of my exam. Not only are the doctors great, but the technicians who are in charge of doing the workups are always great. I've never been uncomfortable here. The receptionists are also incredibly friendly and make sure to take care of your needs at the front desk. The practice has implemented some electronic communication stuff too which is nice to see. I was able to book an appointment online and the office promptly called me to let me know that the date and time I chose was unavailable. I was able to schedule an appointment right then that fit my needs. I also received a text reminder with regard to my appointment. I love the 'focus' on customer service here. This place is great...you should give it a try. ~ strik9

Although I felt he did a good job with the exam, the entire second half of my appointment felt extremely rushed. I specifically came here because I have had issues with my glasses prescription. When I asked if we could discuss my glasses, after he said we were done, he seemed very annoyed. He did take a look however, but his annoyance continued and he made me feel very rushed and unwelcome to ask questions. This is extremely upsetting considering I looked at many reviews and had this place recommended based on a community Facebook page. I am leaving with questions and concerns that were not addressed and will now need to come back because he already was gone immediately after my appointment ended.

When I arrived, they were quite busy and I wound up waiting for approximately twenty minutes to be seen. I completely understand the wait as I came there during one of their busiest times. Once it became my turn i was greeted by a woman with unnaturally dyed red hair, and I could tell, had an already karen like attitude. She sat me down and I tried on my glasses. The first pair, we're my riding glasses. Everything was fine. I could see good. The bifocals were lined up perfectly. The second pair are my daily glasses that I wear all the time. The distance vision portion was perfectly fine, but I couldn't see a thing out of the bifocals. The woman immediately became a bit frustrated and said that all the measurements were what they were supposed to be. And she didn't understand the problem. I told her regardless, I can't see out of the glasses in their current state. Could you please check the measurements? Make sure they're right. We have to send these back. She took the glasses and went into the back room for another 10 minutes came back out and told me to try them again. I put them on and still the same issue. The bifocal portion was way too low on the lens for me to properly see out of I took them off, placed them on the table. And said, very quietly and very calmly, no I still can't see a damn thing. She then immediately began to chastise me and dress me down in front of everybody in the store about my language, and that I am never to use profanity around them and the children that were in there, there was one child. If you can call him that in the store and he was about seventeen years old. And I think he's heard worse things than somebody whisper the word damn. I am a 59-year-old man. I have never been chastised and dressed down by anybody in public that way, that was the most embarrassing thing. I think I have ever experienced. And because of this house of optical is losing a twenty five plus year customer, his wife and his children as well. The only decent thing about that place that I can tell at this time is Priscilla. She was extremely helpful, extremely polite. She took over everything from this vile woman and come to find out, figured out that my eyes were not measured properly by the technician who initially took the measurements, and that the glasses were wrong and needed to be remade. Priscilla deserves a raise. The red headed. Karen deserves a pink slip.

When I arrived, I came in through the back and the receptionist actually came back to greet me! She was so nice and inviting (and I LOVED her glasses). The place is GORGEOUS. Whoever designed it has awesome taste, it's basically everything I want in my house from the floors to the wall color to the cool ceiling. Just the kind of place you wouldn't mind hanging out in (even though I didn't have to wait at all). Anyway, she got me started right away with a few tests. Then I saw Dr. Elston. He was incredibly kind, with a very patient, calm demeanor. Though the exam didn't take long, and I had no problems or complaints about the current contacts I was using, he was very thorough in making sure I had the perfect prescription. I imagine most places would just give me more of what I had and send me on my way, but Dr. Elston wanted to make absolutely sure he couldn't top it with something better. I've been to probably only 3 other eye doctors in my life, but this is the FIRST time I had the doctor show me all the photos he took of my eyes, and explain what exactly he was looking for in terms of any red flags. I learned a lot about eye health; it was definitely the most educational eye appointment I've ever had. Though I didn't get frames at this visit, I can say that they had a great selection. I will definitely continue to go to Clarity for all my future eye appointments!
