Truth be told, I did shop at both locations as their products do vary. I ended up picking a pair of frames from the Rochester location, but I had them shipped to the Warren location to be fitted. See my review for the Twinsite location in Warren. The brothers than run this business rotate between locations. Since they are twins, you might not know which brother is helping you, but it doesn't matter. They are equally knowledgeable and skilled. They started in this profession at a young age. They grew up watching and assisting their father, who founded the business. The owners and staff are outgoing and friendly. They are genuinely nice people, too. During my many trips to try on frames, I witnessed them both independently assist customers who stumbled in with concerns about their frames that they purchased elsewhere. Regardless of which location you choose the outcome will be the same. They both offer a great selection of frames at great prices. The service is first-rate.

The adjustment was done and out I walked. Sometime later my wife told me that I had an indentation on each side of my head where the arms of the frames went. My glasses kept slipping and they were very uncomfortable. I went back for another adjustment and Michelle was working. Bottom line. The previous "adjustment" damaged the frame and Michelle replaced the frame and fit them perfectly to my head. I will keep going there but will make sure Michelle is working when I go. The place…read moreI used to go to (Normandy Optical) has really gone downhill the past few visits, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. I found this through the insurance that I currently have and would receive a free exam through them. They do sell frames here, but I'm going to get them somewhere else for a few different reasons. I called ahead to make sure they would work with my current insurance and they were able to find me in the system. I booked an appointment and was able to be seen within a few days of my phone call. Anyway, I walked in and the staff at the desk here was super friendly and helpful. I informed them of what I was there for and they checked me in and answered all my questions. Ok, so here's where I docked a star. If your running a doctors office, and you accept insurance, please don't ask me what I have covered "in my plan." I know there's lots of different insurance companies with different forms of coverage, but it's vision, and usually the coverage's fairly standard across the board regardless of who's paying (the insurance company, not the person.) I spent the time to educate myself on what I get through this specific coverage, so I knew what I was walking into. Free eye exam, 20% discount on progressive bifocals, etc. Even though I absolutely love the staff here, nobody seemed to know about coverage. Fortunately, I did. So, even though I had considered purchasing frames and the lenses from this specific location, it wasn't financially feasible for me at this time. The doctor here is fabulous, very professional and efficient. I was in and out in no time and have a prescription to get new glasses so I can see again. I would come back here in a heartbeat as this office is well run, efficient and the staff here is really one of a kind. Dr. Weingarden really knows his stuff and wasted no time and did a fabulous job. I can't brag enough about how wonderful and helpful the staff is, and I will gladly return in the future. Dr. Dixon and Jodie fitted me for an awesome pair of Dolce and Gabanna glasses -- I'm picking them up next week! I highly recommend L'Optique for their professionalism, friendliness and overall expertise. Dr. Dixon will take great care of your eyes! Oh, and bonus: Dr. Dixon has a high-tech camera that takes photos of your eyes so you don't have to get your eyes dilated for a small extra fee. That alone is worth the appointment!

Asked if they would give me my prescription and they still refused) Visit three - spend 3 minutes telling you the trial pair looks fine, now we can order lens. Visit 4 - pick up lens Sorry, but when you work a full time job, and a part time job... it's a little hard to visit the eye dr 4 times in a month. If you are expecting to be in and out at this dr, think again.

They had my eye exam completed, and a new (but relatively unchanged) prescription for new glasses within 30 minutes. The selection of frames was wide and there were many options across multiple price ranges. The staff even helped me decide on which new frames I should pick. I was helped by the manager, Gabby, who was very polite and professional in working with me. And the best part: I got my new glasses for nearly half the cost of where I got my last pair. I highly recommend Visonworks if you're looking for new glasses.
