I paid over $1,800 for my frames and lenses and was only offered $50 compensation for the delay by the manager Tracey, which is completely unfair. Very disappointing experience. I paid in full with no issue, but was left waiting weeks with no accountability.

Comfortable waiting area (coffee choices!), exam rooms with televisions, caring doctors, and the latest, fab frames that make the decisions fun. I just had my first appointment at Clarity Advanced Eyecare and I was so impressed! Dr. Elston was professional, friendly and quickly understood my challenges with my vision (my vision is really bad). He did a complete exam and ordered a new supply of contacts. I also needed new glasses which his also very friendly staff helped me with. Clarity Advanced Eyecare is the only place I'll go for my eye exams and glasses/contacts! The staff is very friendly. They are helpful with appointment reminders and insurance questions. The associate responded, "We can try to help, but we are closing at 5:00 p.m. We weren't going to open today because of the watermain break, but we did and closing early". I explained that the website said the store was open today despite the watermain break and no indication of early closure. The associate said she could try to help, but again, "We are closing at 5pm". When she asked about insurance information, I shared I would need to locate my card. She replied that I could look for the insurance card, but that they were closing at 5:00." I had also hoped to look at glasses since the posted hours and website indicated the store would remain open until 7:00 p.m., but instead I left abruptly due to the poor customer service and repeated comments about the store closing early. I felt as though I was inconveniencing the associate simply by coming in during the posted business hours. I was also told to come back tomorrow, which is not possible for me. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and because of it I will be looking for a different optical center.

The place…read moreI used to go to (Normandy Optical) has really gone downhill the past few visits, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. I found this through the insurance that I currently have and would receive a free exam through them. They do sell frames here, but I'm going to get them somewhere else for a few different reasons. I called ahead to make sure they would work with my current insurance and they were able to find me in the system. I booked an appointment and was able to be seen within a few days of my phone call. Anyway, I walked in and the staff at the desk here was super friendly and helpful. I informed them of what I was there for and they checked me in and answered all my questions. Ok, so here's where I docked a star. If your running a doctors office, and you accept insurance, please don't ask me what I have covered "in my plan." I know there's lots of different insurance companies with different forms of coverage, but it's vision, and usually the coverage's fairly standard across the board regardless of who's paying (the insurance company, not the person.) I spent the time to educate myself on what I get through this specific coverage, so I knew what I was walking into. Free eye exam, 20% discount on progressive bifocals, etc. Even though I absolutely love the staff here, nobody seemed to know about coverage. Fortunately, I did. So, even though I had considered purchasing frames and the lenses from this specific location, it wasn't financially feasible for me at this time. The doctor here is fabulous, very professional and efficient. I was in and out in no time and have a prescription to get new glasses so I can see again. I would come back here in a heartbeat as this office is well run, efficient and the staff here is really one of a kind. Dr. Weingarden really knows his stuff and wasted no time and did a fabulous job. I can't brag enough about how wonderful and helpful the staff is, and I will gladly return in the future.
