The adjustment was done and out I walked. Sometime later my wife told me that I had an indentation on each side of my head where the arms of the frames went. My glasses kept slipping and they were very uncomfortable. I went back for another adjustment and Michelle was working. Bottom line. The previous "adjustment" damaged the frame and Michelle replaced the frame and fit them perfectly to my head. I will keep going there but will make sure Michelle is working when I go. During my research, I found his rates are in line and actually a bit lower than other physicians in the area, but this is not the deciding factor in choosing Accents. I viewed numerous before and after photos of procedures done by Doctor Berkowitz and knew he was the doctor for me. All of my procedures were done by Doctor Berkowitz personally. During visits, staff are in attendance but Doctor Berkowitz does all the work. I can't count all of the compliments I continue to receive. I went in to have them checked out, and I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that the reason they weren't darkening was just that the days weren't sunny enough. The gentleman who runs the lab was very nice, and put the lenses on a UV light to show me that they do indeed darken significantly. They weren't on my receipt because the lenses have a different name. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. They are very responsive if you have an issue (or just think you do, in my case). The selection of glasses is fabulous. I had a hard time narrowing it down to a single pair. I can't recommend this place enough.

I told her that I learned more in one visit (for my son, not even an appt for myself) then I have learned in many years seeing other eye doctors. dr. Johnny absolutely takes time to explain everything to you about your eyes. I have been seeing another eye doctor and paying out of pocket for a reevaluation every year. Dr. Johnny said that that diagnosis/solution (prism) RARELY EVER CHANGES, so I don't need to keep going back and having it evaluated and paying hundreds of dollars. Holy crap! He also explained what macular degeneration is and what causes it. My blonde son with light blue eyes needs to be wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses as often as possible to prevent it in his old age. So those are just two examples of fantastic helpful friendly information I got in one hour. Not to mention, the staff is so nice and helpful. My husband and I both got awesome frames that we love and get lots of compliments on. (and by the way, just now my husband had an issue with his friends and they fixed it quickly and no problem!!!) I just really can't say enough about this office and would recommend it HIGHLY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY to anyone!

I…read moresaw Dr. Johnny Leung yesterday, and he is STILL the VERY BEST eye dr. and I hope he is at this practice for MANY years to come! I can't imagine going anywhere else now that I've had the BEST! My husband has to come with me each time, (for his appt too), since I'm so afraid of going to the eye dr. He mentioned afterward, on the way home, that, and I quote, "Thankfully Dr. Leung is still young so will be there awhile!" I couldn't agree more! Why do I like this eye dr. so much? He is patient, and that is saying something for someone like me who is scared to death of the eye dr. I don't know where this comes from, but the why is beside the point. He is so patient with me, takes time to explain about my eyes and shows the pictures they took of my eyes. He did the same for my husband. He lets us stay in the same room during our eye exams and that helps to calm me. Now for the staff...they are all exceptional! Friendly, answers any questions, and are patient when looking for frames when I can't decide which ones I would look best in. (Neither of us needed frames yesterday at our appt. but from past experience know this to be true). You don't feel rushed here, and everyone makes you feel like you are the ONLY patient they have! THAT...is EXCEPTIONAL patient care in my humble opinion! Thanks Dr. Leung and staff!!
