Dr.Io took time to explain that clinically the filling was loose and needed to be replaced. Once he took out the old filling he told me there was another cavity forming and he took the time to fix it. I even told him I do not like needles and when he injected my mouth he kept saying "Sorry". He takes time to explain everything and he ask before he does anything. I have another problem with an old cavity from a previous dentist and he asked if I wanted to xray it or just replace it. I said let's xray it first. He said okay. He is patient and takes your choices into consideration.

The hygenist tries to lie and get you to come here twice in a week by saying that "you haven't been here for awhile so that's why it takes two cleanings"....actually I've been to three separate dentists in Manhattan (2 of which did their own cleanings) over the last two years and none have ever pulled this stunt, but she was clearly too much of a scammer to know.

They were extremely patient with our daughter, played with her to get her more comfortable before performing the exam. Took their time to check her teeth and explained us everything clearly at the end. They had a TV screen above the dentist's chair to keep the kids engaged that might help with older kids too. Our daughter was too busy playing with the water spout in the sink to watch the TV. :-) The prices seemed inline with other dentists, just much better experience for the same buck. I would highly recommend them for kids. We haven't tried them for our treatment so can't say if they gouge or not. Will update my review after we have tried them for our treatment.

The receptionists are so sweet and easy to coordinate with which makes a really huge difference because that's technically your first impression. The dentists are all very kind and disarming (because I know many are uneasy about dentists), and provide top quality care. I really liked coming here, and wish I could continue--alas I moved too far. The wait isn't usually too long and the waiting area always has a movie of some sort playing. Usually a kids movie but, lets be honest, anyone can get into those LOL When you go in to see a hygienist or dentist they have very comfortable chairs, are very welcoming and transparent regarding what's going on and also have TVs on the ceiling (which I loved as a kid). I definitely recommend coming here, I don't think I've had even one negative experience to date.

I have nothing but good things to say. The entire staff is very competent and caring in dealing with young children, fearful adults (me), unmotivated flossers (also me)... I love the fact that the office is run like clockwork, and they are almost always right on time with their appointments. I've never had billing or insurance issues and I love the calm and relaxed atmosphere that they have created in the office. This is not a dentist who is in the business to make big money - she is there because she truly feels strongly about oral health and its relationship with overall health. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Please don't ever retire.
