The Girls are Fans! Had unexpected surgery come up with little notice and needed to arrange for 3 days of continuous walking care for Bella & Cherie. Pampered Diva's who have high expectations of regularly scheduled walks, play, and attention. I immediately turned to Yelp for help in finding a trusted service for the Girls. Although I called on a Sunday afternoon, Kenny answered on almost the first ring. He gave me a quick quote, and a commitment he could meet my short surgery schedule. I left the conversation saying I would get in touch with him the next afternoon, once I had spoken with other services. Right after we spoke, Kenny emailed references, and more info about him and his services. I followed up with some other services, but either they didn't return my call, or they didn't serve the North Dallas/Plano area. Kenny called me the next day, just before I was going to call him. We made arrangements for him to come over and visit the Girls and I, plus go on a walk with us so he would be aware of their interests and favorite spots. He also provided ID and pictures of his beloved Labrador; Bear. Meeting Kenny in advance like this, and his level of detail and interest in all aspects of the Girls gave me a warm and comfortable feeling as I went into surgery. For the next 3 days Kenny called me about 5 minutes before arriving to walk the Girls. He greeted them in our home, played with them for a few minutes so they were comfortable leaving with him, and then played with them some more after the walk. He also gave them their treats, put their leashes away, and gave me a report on their activities and the duties they performed during their walks. Kenny also went beyond what was expected of him, and always asked if I needed anything from the store or pharmacy to help with my at home recovery. He even spent some time with me to make sure I was OK too. If I could l say anything about Kenny and his service; it is he is very genuine, has a passion for animals, and the service he provides. By the 2nd day the Girls were anticipating his arrival and their walks with him. Just as important, he had my trust and confidence the Girls were safe with him. He did an outstanding job. I am sure you value your family members as much as I do. Kenny was a great choice for the Girls. I will continue to use his services. I am sure you will be glad you considered him too. read more

During our recent trip to St. Maarten, we left our siamese mix cat, Ella, with Kenny Crawford (Wag the Dogs Pet Sitting). We were new to the Dallas area and were flying out of DFW for a several week vacation. Taking your cat to another country is a very difficult process. His price was reasonable and we thought that his varied pet sitting experience would be a good fit for taking care of Ella. Was that ever a right decision. It was an excellent experience for Ella in many ways. Kenny Crawford provided us regular updates as to how everything was going including pictures (both still and video). She got along well with his black Lab. She even got to actively watch football on the TV. We would highly recommend Wag the Dogs Pet Sitting for cats as well. 15 June 2012 I just returned from my first trip away from my little rescue dog. I am so grateful that I located Kenny with Wag the Dogs. I actually believe that Bella is missing him today. I will mention that I proceeded in contacting him after reading the favorable comments on this sight. My little dog went through some bad stuff in her short life and was rescued since I do not have family in the area and I needed to find the right fit for her. They were great!! Sent me text messages of Buddy my cat while I was away( he even found him hiding in my kitchen cabinets). Good price for the service as the text messages were nice because they not only let me actually know they went to my house each day but it was nice to see my pet while away. Although it takes awhile for my cat to warm up to anyone, Kevin was really good at coaxing him out with some tuna and catnip I left him. By the third day, he was sending me texts of buddy out and about my apartment. Only reason they get four-stars is because I wish they took online payments. I used to use another Pet Sitting Co. (in Plano and they were a couple dollars more expensive) that offered online booking/payment, but they kept switching the person who came and my cat would keep having to readjust to the new person every couple months ( I travel two weeks out of each month for current job). Although I can't say anything about their dog-walking because I only have a cat, I would definitely recommend Wag the Dogs for pet sitting as they have done a great job so far with making friends and taking care of my cat Buddy. read more
