First I must start out and say that "I'm picky" -- REAL picky when it comes to my lab mix -- so finding the right petsitter was of particular importance to me. Lori is it!!! :) Understanding my concerns about my "shy with strangers and uneasy with change" pup, Lori took the time to come over and get to know the dog to make sure she'd be comfortable with her, and familiarized herself with the dog's environment and habits. Knowing that I was not the most comfortable about leaving her with someone new for the first time on a long trip (12 days)...she sent me text and email updates throughout my absence - even shared a photo or two - which helped this "mom" feel comfortable about the decision in choosing Lori's Loving Pet Sitting". We've taken a few more short trips this year, and I don't know what I'd do without Lori's service! She's trustworthy, dependable, has a GREAT way with animals -- with the added benefits of security at the house every day with newspaper and mail pick-up as well. The house was flooding. The damage was worsening into the $1000's and nothing could stop it. We were in Amarillo, Texas when we got the frantic phone call from our pet sitter. "Your water heater has ruptured, there's water everywhere, where's the turnoff valve?" We later found out there was no turnoff valve, but right then on the phone with Lori, only one thing came to mind ... calling the fire department. Lori waited, working with some old towels to absorb some of the water until the fire department came and turned off the main water valve out front. Once the fire department cleared out, Lori used the towels to mop up what she could, called us again with an update and proceeded to feed and water the cats and dog, which were probably a little on edge. She also made sure to turn off our air conditioner, which could have easily been damaged otherwise. It is very important that I share this, because I don't think everyone would have done the same thing. Lori has been pet sitting for us over five years now and her services are worth every penny. I don't know how she does it but her emails are answered promptly and her telephone updates keep us relaxed when we're on vacation, knowing our pets and house are in good hands. read more

Our family first used Lori's Loving Pet Sitting last summer for a 7 day trip to Washington State, and we were so happy with the service that we have use it every time we go out of town now! Lori met with us before the first trip to meet the animals and get familiar with them, their feeding schedule, the house, etc... When on vacation, it makes us feel good that Lori is checking on the pets, walking the dogs, feeding the animals, getting the mail, bringing in the newspaper, and so forth... During the trip, she emailed us with updates on the status of the pets and house. I love this pet sitting service and will continue to use them! They were watching my dog and two cats while I was out of town this past weekend when the storms hit the Richardson area. Not only did they take great care of my babies but they came BACK out to the house, during the worst part of the storm to check on them even though they were not scheduled to do so and found my dog had vomited from fear and was hiding under the bed, terrified of the storm. They cleaned up the mess, coaxed my dog out, calmed him down, and sat and held him until the storm passed. Knowing the storm had hit and I could not get home made me panic, until I got a call from Lori saying they had everything under control and that my dog and cats were safe and cozy. I was able to rest that night knowing that my animals were well cared for. No other pet sitter would go back out in that weather, they are above and beyond the best! read more

I have been with Lori for almost a year now and she is absolutely amazing!! My furbabies are her biggest fans, as am I! After meeting with her I knew I had no problem trusting her in my home and around my pets. She made us feel very comfortable about the situation, as we had never left our babies before. I would recommend her to ANYONE! Her and her staff definitely try and go out of there way to make sure everything is above par. It is her and maybe 2-3 other girls working for her so I was able to meet with the specific staffer that would be coming by for sits if it wasn't Lori. We have used Lori (and/or her staff) since early 2012 when we moved to the area. She has cared for our pets many times during this nearly two year period and I have never even considered calling another sitter or boarding facility. Lori is very accommodating and always finds the time for our special pets. She occasionally sends a picture of our pup if we are gone for more than a few days; this always brings a smile to my face knowing that they are being well taken care of. While Lori was our only sitter at first, she has added staff to help out. Not even for a second was I worried about these new folks; if they were good enough for Lori, that was all I needed to know. We have used Lori for more than a year now and we've had only amazing experiences each time. Our two dogs love her. She emails frequent updates to let us know how things are going while we're away. One of our dogs experiences a little separation anxiety and she does a great job helping him manage that. For some reason it seems to rain almost every time we leave town. Somehow she always keeps the dogs' paws clean as well as our floors which is definitely appreciated after being out of town. We also use her for ordering fish oil. If we ever need anything else like joint meds, we'll probably go through her again. Her prices are reasonable and she doesn't charge you until she delivers the order. I absolutely recommend Lori. This was our first time using LLPS. (Our old pet sitter retired from the business.) As in any new situation in which there is a lot of trust and responsibility, I was nervous about having a "new" person watch my precious pups. Lori and her team totally stepped up to the plate and provided my 2 big dogs with great care and compassion. Her response time prior to the service was great. Her emails in our absence kept us informed and at peace. And in a potentially scary situation (the house next door caught fire!), she was right there with our dogs and made sure they (and our home!) were safe and cared for. When we moved to Richardson, we felt bad asking our friends to take care of our pets while we were out of town (they live near downtown Dallas). Lori was highly recommended. Before we left town the first time, she came to meet our two dogs with one of us home.
