Dr Huang was the person who helped my wife and I, and they hooked us both up with quality glasses in the end. They also do eye exams here. Anna the receptionist is super nice too. This office location was conveniently located near SCP so my wife and I put our name down for Din Tai Fung (1.5 hr wait!), then we headed over to see the doctor. Since the first time I came to the office felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful and bilingual! I found the eye exams to be affordable and high quality. I feel like this is an honest and respectable Optometry office, Dr. Hoang takes her time when examining the eye and makes sure to consider any health conditions ect. Summary: I was in town for business when I was experiencing trouble focusing my left eye. Then all of the sudden I noticed a dark circle in my field of vision. Naturally I was freaking out so I used Yelp to find the nearest Optometrist and Metro was the closest one. This was Friday evening. Saturday morning, I decided to walk-in to Metro Optometrist first thing at 9am. The whole experience was amazing. Dr. Hoang took me in first thing. Ran some of tests. Then recommended me to a Opthamologist for further tests, and even went out of the way to make a few calls to get a hold of an Opthomalogist (who apparently are usually closed on Saturday). Probably the most comforting words I heard was "I've seen this before." The care given to me was amazing. I walked in feeling pretty scared, but walked away feeling reassured. I was even given a followup call later in the evening to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend Metro Optometry! read more

I already had my prescription, so I only went to Metro Optometry to buy some new eyeglasses. They had a good selection, and I found a pair I really liked. Even though I don't have vision insurance, they gave me a small discount on the frames which I really appreciated. I was told it would be about 5 business days until everything was ready. I got a call a few hours later that Anthony, who makes the lenses, was going to the lab and would make mine that afternoon, so I'd be able to pick up my glasses the very next day! When I went the next morning I got to meet Anthony and he was very helpful making final adjustments to my glasses so that they fit properly. The only complaint I have is that they didn't accept American Express, but their service was so great I can't justify removing a star just because of that. read more

I have had the pleasure of being an eye care patient at Metro Optometry office since it first opened its doors. Dr. Hoang was highly recommended to me by a friend when I started to look for a quality family optometrist. Dr. Hoang's professionalism and kindness are second to none. Since the first eye exam I could tell that her patients' eye health was very important to her as she is very thorough in examining eye health. Most optometrists zip in and out of the exam room doing the minimal exam, she takes time to take a complete look at the eyes. Since my experience with her has been extremely exceptional I recommended her to my in laws, both of which are diabetic and need special attention to eye health. She gives them their eye exam annually now and makes them feel comfortable as she speaks to them in Spanish!!! My husband and daughter also have their annual eye exam with Dr. Hoang. This summer my daughter Camila enjoyed her eye exam in preparation for kindergarten. Dr. Hoang was super patient and accommodating to my 5 year old.
