I have had my hearing aids from HearUSA for a few years. Recently they stopped holding a charge…read morelong enough and when I called them they said my warranty was going to expire in the next 11 days.. Problem is I was going out of town and would not have them back (have to bring them in for replacement and could take 2 weeks for the new ones to come in).. The young lady who answered the phone and explained it all to me and said. OK, bring them in when you get back and I will note your file that due to extenuating circumstances you couldn't get them in here before the warranty was expired. I could not be without hearing aids for the time I would be out of town as I have meetings, etc.... it's a work trip. She assured me that I'll have no issues and said "Don't worry.. go on your trip and know we'll take care if it when you get back" GREAT Customer Service!!

BUT I was graciously told that when my ear clears I was welcome to return at no charge and get the hearing test. To offer the TLC and informative care that I received as a non paying customer is aMAZIng and greatly appreciated. Carlos treated all my questions with wisdom and showed me in live time on TV screen my inner ears. This was a treat as I have never experienced the now time, patient, professional explanations. I will return eventually and hopefully this time I will not have such a difficult time finding it. FYI Hear USA advertises FREE exams and Carols told me I was welcome to return at no charge when a decision is made as to what I am going to do. I will be returning to get HearUSA for sure.

I am mystified at the reviews for Platinum Hearing…read more I bought the Oticon hearing aids and the Audiologists could not calibrate them. There was no volume, they squealed and screeched in my ears. The people around me could hear the noise. The Audiologists told me to try the Phonak, and again the Audiologists could not adjust them and again they screeched and squealed in my ear. I bought several microphones as they told me they would help, still no calibration. Again, at their suggestion, I bought a Widex Allure. After weeks their Audiologists could not adjust them to my hearing needs. They led me on to believe if we kept trying, which took me out of the 30 day window. I finally decided I was being a fool. I kept doing the same thing over and over expecting a different answer. After thousand of dollars and way to much time I returned the Allures, in which, Platinum Hearing took a $500.00 return fee. They were the ones that couldn't calibrate them, as they never stopped screaming into my hears. I now have a pair called Signia. American Medical has them where I can actually hear better than I have in years and they don't make any screeching sounds. By the way, their Audiologist and owner only works 1.5 days a week and the second one 3 days a week. They were just not qualified to take care of my hearing needs.

We should have moved Mom's care from Metro a couple of years ago. I believe Metro was sold and the lack of care and expertise kept getting worse. The past couple of visits we actually felt scolded for asking basic questions as to why she wasn't getting improvement after the adjustments they were doing. I had high hopes of it being a completely different experience due to Dr. Zavos' reviews, and it most definitely was. He was fantastic! I'm so appreciative of the time he took to explain all of her test and exactly what he was correcting and adjusting on her hearing aids. THANK YOU DR. ZAVOS, MY MOM NOTICEABLY HEARS SO MUCH BETTER with the very same hearing aids she came in with!

I can see why. The office is very clean and orgsnized. They are very helpful when she needs her hearing aids looked at and fixed. They will do what they can to make it the most cost effective too. I brought my moms hearing aids today to have them sent out for repair. The doctor looks at them for no charge and let's me know they need to be sent out. Though they are newer he recommended her bring in the other used pair he had given her that are acting up to see if he can do something about those first before having to pay for repairs. Such a friendly office we really appreciate them.

After many decades of drumming and taking every opportunity to see the awesome bands of my day, my…read moretinnitus became more than a minor daily annoyance. I knew I needed help with my tinnitus and hearing loss, but I didn't want to be one of those persons who spends a gob of money on hearing aids, then doesn't use them. And here's where Dr. Kelly Hanscom really helped me out. I sport a shaved head, so it's not like I have luscious locks to help hide hardware behind my ears, so I really wanted to go with jamming the whole shootin' match in my ear. Dr. Kelly advised me on the available options and clearly explained the pros and cons of the different styles of hearing aids. I used a set of loaner hearing aids until my ordered units came in. Dr. Kelly tuned the loaners (and then my person devices) so that I would receive greater amplification of the frequencies in which my hearing is deficient. But she didn't overdo it. This seems to be where a lot of new hearing aid users experience frustration. I've heard several people say, "I'd wear them, but they're too dang loud!" Dr. Kelly artfully managed the acuity and volume of my hearing aids over the course of three months. As she explained, if a new user gets too much volume at first, it can be "jarring." That's the perfect word. So, over the course of three months, Dr. Kelly eased me into the "power" of my new hearing aids, and she also spent plenty of time ensuring that the fit is perfect and that I understand how to maintain and care for my new devices. I love wearing my hearing aids. It's been four months. The tinnitus therapy is wonderful! In fact, my wife can tell by my mood at the end of the day if I have been wearing my hearing aids. Without the tinnitus therapy, she says I am noticeably more anxious by day's end. And don't forget to say 'hello' and be nice to Franchesca at the front desk. After just a few visits, she had my name down and she regularly offers me cookies when I visit. Don't struggle another day with your tinnitus and hearing deficiencies. It's not only affecting your quality of life, but it's also affecting the quality of life of your family, friends, loved ones, and co-workers.
