Hi Ofer: For clarification, our garage door opener was not built in 1999. The neighborhood wasn't constructed until 2012. Our plan was for you to get the door fixed and working. You attempted a few times to reprogram the garage opener and concluded it would break the entire door. Which is why we initially agreed to replace the unit. However, our primary garage door tech was able to reprogram it the next day and it has been working without fault, free of charge. He had met our requirements where you had failed to fully meet. One of the torsion springs broke on our garage door. Ofer was one of two who would come and give a free estimate. He was professional, gave a very reasonable price, and was very knowledgeable. He showed me how the garage door is supposed to stay up at various levels of height and he greased the wheels and track. He also gave me a lot of useful information such as: 1. With wood doors, some will cut a hole in the wood and pull on the release cord to enter the house. To prevent this, there are new openers that connect directly to the steel rods. 2.
