I also noticed miles put on my car when I asked about it DOUG was flustered and couldn't show me the paperwork with my initial miles. I ask why was someone in my backseat my cover is all messed up there's dirt and oil everywhere he then proceeded to tell me it was because it was vacuumed, WHAT?!?! Makes no sense so he agreed in the end it was his fault took my car for another week called me 15 min before closing in a Friday said if I couldn't get it then I have to wait till Monday!!! Excuse me you messed up my car and can't even offer to drop it off 2 miles away pure ignorance. I barely drive this car so I went picked it up on a Monday and what do I notice ANOTHER DENT ON MY OTHER SIDE DOOR!!!!! Doug continued to deny it until I finally lost my cool because I felt soooo taken advantage of. Flash forward to a few months later I finally had to take my car on the highway to only notice the huge BREEZE THAT COMES STRAIGHT IN THE DOOR THEY DIDN'T SEAL!!! ITS NOW FREEZING!! Oh and I have a nice BMW that didn't have a single problem. Truly disappointed even the workers knew it was wrong. Oh and the price was ridiculous but I looked at all the good reviews and thought ok it will be ok then to find all the bad reviews coming in the past few months, truly a rip off. THANKS DOUG UPDATE JUST REALIZED YOU HAVE ERASED THE OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS I SAW THE SAME MONTH I HAD MY CAR THERE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM!

After filling out their form, the guy brusquely informed my that they do not do that kind of work and "sent it out" to a paintless dent repair place. How long does that take, I asked? I found Continental Toyota service department to be extremely overpriced and disingenuous. I had a…read moreproblem with the fuse for the ignition. My car died on the causeway and I was towed there. Their estimated courtesy check" came with 4 pages of necessary work the car needed. With an estimate of $11,000 . The service sales person encouraged (pushed) me to finance all the work through them even though I emphasized I was purchasing another newer used Toyota. When I explained my situation there was serious pressure to finance &11,000 for things like cabin air filter etc. . I said I was not going to do anything unnecessary right now. I just wanted to be able to start my car. I emphasized my car was 19 years old and had 250,000 miles. The service sales person was not a good listener which I expect when making big item decisions. She kept up the hard pressure assuring me that Continental Toyota has cars that come in with one million miles on the odometer. I met with the assistant manager to share my experience and that I would not be using that dealership for service. I may be an older woman with a nice address but I am Not ignorant...I am accustomed to working with a service business that has a reputation for excellent customer service. I now drive to Savannah to service my newer Toyota. . Fortunate for…read moreme, I had a previous experience with Central Auto Rebuilders, and my insurance company had them on the list of preferred shops. I called and spoke to Fred, who gave me some really valuable information on how to proceed with the insurance company. I'm glad I followed his advice, because he was spot on! They submitted the estimate, got the approval from the insurance to complete the work. I dropped it off the next day and they gave me an estimated completion date, and they finished 3 days early! I looked the car over very closely, and I could not tell the repaired part of the car from the rest of the car. This car is a 2024 and has 25K miles on it, so they had to match the "new build" specs. Not to mention there's a lifetime warranty on the work! Fred is a no nonsense kind of guy that tells it like it is. In this day and age, it's a refreshing approach! I can only give 5 stars on this app, but they warrant a couple additional stars for doing a great job, communicating well and being a honest and trustworthy business. I would highly recommend Central Auto Rebuilders to anyone that needs anything from a fender bender repair, to a major repair! Well done, from a thankful, repeat customer!

Everything was put together poorly and had overspray all over the under side of the bed as well. Then I took my car there for another insurance job and they gave me a hard time due to it not being a larger repair. They eventually did it but they were very frustrating to deal with through the entire ordeal. Finally I thought I'd give them one more chance since they're so close to my house. I had another insurance job but I also had a few things I wanted to do out of pocket. They agreed to do the work and even told me to go ahead and have the parts shipped to their business. Once the part was on a truck about to arrive they suddenly refused to do the work. I had a written quote and agreement from one of the owners and they refused to keep their word. At the last minute I had to pay extra money to have the parts shipped to my house and find another body shop that would do the work. Go anywhere else but this place. They have poor customer service and they have poor workmanship.

Not professional, not knowledgable, no accountability…read more I called on Tuesday to see if I can leave my car with them Thursday to get a check engine light resolved and brakes checked. I mentioned it was important I get the car back by Monday morning for work and they said it would be done by Friday. 8am Monday comes around, no phone call last week, the weekend, I call they said they didn't know i needed it Monday morning, they are just starting it. They said no one told them that.. I then have to take off work. I get a phone call at 10:40am about the results, I need a new EVAP canister PURGE per code, which I received too on my device. Then over $900 for only my front brakes. I just say yes at this point because I have work at 5:30am the next morning and need my truck. I got to pickup my truck at 2pm, the guy at the front desk asks me about my display how it's not working. I thought that was odd, I go to my truck and now my radio screen/display will not light up or display. I asked what happened the other guy Mike starts yelling at me when I asked how can I leave it with you guys, you clear codes, and now my display won't work. He did try and do a few things but acted like he didn't know about it, but the other guy did? Very suspicious. Didn't want any ownership, yelled at me for it not being his fault. I now have no AC because I can't access my display on the hottest week of the year so far and they offered no resolution or offered to take it back in to try and fix the issue.. I had work done by them last year when I moved out here, I trusted them. I thought I had a local, reliable mechanic like I did where I'm from, but I see now that they're unfortunately just like all the rest. I'd pay their prices for a good experience and trustworthiness, but that is gone. I would recommend shopping around mechanics so the same experience doesn't happen to you.
