The had the heavy equipment to remove the old concrete quicky and put in the framework for my patio & driveway the first day. Next day for the city inspection. Third day they were here again @7am and poured the concert and finished in less than 6 hours. The last day they came back and removed the framework and cut expansion slicing in all my concrete every where so no slab was over 10 * 10 reducing the chance of it break or crack again. They even extended my area around the patio with their backhoe for me for use to install landscaping that we will have installed soon. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. The quality of work beyond the quality I was expecting and the price was fair to very good. They were on time and answered my question with friendly answers. They did first class work. The building was an unassuming brick number, with only hints of what they do on the outside, but inside, they truly have a lovely set up that showcased their offerings. We ended up getting quotes from several vendors, but ultimately decided to move forward with PMS because of all of the extra things they offered and the variety of their selection. From start to finish, my experience with PMS was professional yet quick. The day the crew came to our house, I was surprise to see that Parker was there to make sure the office and the work crew were on the same page. I was frankly amazed how quick they were able to clear our the posts from the old deck (we did the demo ourselves), move the sprinklers system (with very little damage), and graded the ground. Also, I cannot say enough about the crew they sent. I believe the foreman was Noe and over the 3 days they were at our house, they work from dawn to dusk, and were fast, yet meticulous, as they laid the pavers, while also cleaning up after themselves. Based on my experience, I kind of wish I had just used them for the entire backyard. If you can afford PMS, I highly recommend this company. One of few times where I had a contractor make big promises and actually deliver.

I hired Detroit Concrete Leveling to raise back patio and side walkway concrete to address drainage…read moreissues. Their work in those areas was acceptable. During the quote, I showed the salesperson, Lawrence, two sinking areas in my front sidewalk. He said they would raise those areas at no additional charge. When the crew arrived, I explained that sprinkler lines ran along both sides of the sidewalk and asked whether there was any risk of damaging them. They assured me there was not. They then proceeded to cut sprinkler lines at both locations. I left a voicemail at their main office asking how this issue would be resolved. Lawrence returned my call and said Detroit Concrete Leveling was not responsible for the damage based on terms noted on the back of the quote. The work provided at "no additional charge" ended up costing me $499 for sprinkler system repairs. I strongly recommend you do NOT hire Detroit Concrete Leveling. They do not take responsibility for damaging customers' property. If ownership disclaims responsibility, customers should not expect the work crews to show adequate care for their property. If you still choose to hire Detroit Concrete Leveling, I recommend budgeting extra money beyond the quoted price. You may need it to repair damage cause by their careless or indifferent work. Later that afternoon, I received a return call from Lawrence, the salesperson. He offered either to attempt the repairs himself or that I hire a sprinkler company do so. When I asked whether he had any sprinkler repair experience, he confirmed that he did not. Given the extent of the damage caused by your company and the need for qualified sprinkler repair professionals, I declined Lawrence's offer. Your statements that you requested the opportunity to come to my property to inspect the situation personally and that the "request was declined" are false. I declined only Lawrence's offer to attempt the sprinkler repairs. You did not contact me directly, and neither Lawrence nor any other company employee conveyed any request from you to inspect the damage. One of the driveway slabs of concrete near the fence had a buried tree stump that prevented them from completing the job. Totally understandable. Kevin told me if I get rid of the tree stump he'll come and finish the job and give me a good deal when I'm ready. Again totally understandable. I foolishly paid him the total balance for the entire job even though they didn't do everything that was promised with the expectation they'd come back and finish the job they were paid for. Big mistake. I've been contacting Kevin for now over a year and half trying to get him to do the right thing and finish the work. He has upselled me on a new cost to get the remaining job done after I have already paid him. I reluctantly agreed because of the position I'm in and he still hasn't honored his commitment to completing the job despite me agreeing to pay him twice for the same job. He called me on the phone in November and gave me his word he would make it right. Still nothing. Just a repetitive cycle of ghosting and poor communication. The driveway is chipping already and flaking to the point I will have to pay for repairs on top of trying to get the job done. This job was done in July 2024. Very frustrating and downright insulting that this company doesn't honor their commitments and disappears on you. I paid 12k for the entire project and it is devastating when a contract company can't deliver on the work they promised but have no problem taking all your money from you. To these companies 12k may not seem a lot but to the everyday person like me who works a normal job this is a huge amount of money to spend that is taking me years off to pay, all with the job undone. All you ever ask is for people to do the right thing and this company hasn't. If I were a new customer I would have them sign a binding document that holds them to the entire scope of the project otherwise they might disappear on you like they did with me.
