While other stores have laptops and other devices, Micro Center has John S. and other great team members to help you. John was very supportive, never pushy, quick to answer questions and very willing to not search for what we were looking for and provide us options. THAT is INCREDIBLY BENEFICIAL - some times you just need someone to help you get to what you are looking for, to weed through the many options and find just what you need. John S. provides that service for us. Separately from us appreciating the service, at least for our daughter's laptop, Micro Center's prices beat the competition. In addition, their warranty program will replace a broken device; had we had it, the broken hinge would have been covered. Garret was behind the service counter, helped and went over so many things! All of our interactions with the service techs, the guy who showed us laptop options, the checkout cashier, everyone. We were there for a while and by the time everything was said and done it was 15 minutes past closing. We felt so bad, didn't expect to be there that long, but they were so great. The store has so much stuff! Something for everyone if it has to do with electronics. And even though it's the parking lot from heck, it is in the far back corner away from most of the chaos.

The OEM key on the machine was from CHINA and was not licensed for the united states. I took the computer to another pc store, and was told everything in the computer was the CHEAPEST garbage parts possible. Power supply was not giving enough power, had bad voltage! Cheap CPU had no warranty from the maker at all! You get what you pay for. I learned the hard way. The owner will be very friendly to you, but the second you have a problem he turns on you and treats you like an enemy. Once they have your money, they won't care.

I jumped in the car and headed to EPC. I called back to confirm it was in fact the Turbo and it was. When I got there Carl had it ready and said he was able to sell it to me for $115. It was clearly used but when I took it back to my store and plugged it in (had to use a parallel cable instead of USB) it worked like a champ. EPC's price was less than 1/2 of anything I saw on the internet and I was able to get it immediately. It had been a while since I had been here but will certainly return next time I need something.

They sell great servers at very fair prices. We've almost never had new server money, so having a source of high quality used servers is incredibly helpful and lets us accomplish what we need within our limited budget. The servers have always been shipped on time, or even earlier than what's estimated on their website. Their in stock component sales are great as well and usually allow for some better hardware than we could otherwise afford. I've gotten to the point where even if there's a cheaper deal somewhere else I'll still insist on ordering from Orange. Every time the boss has pulled a 'look I found it cheaper' move it's ended up being a nightmare. With Orange you know you're going to get what you paid for in the condition and time frame that was promised. As with buying anything used there is the chance for issues to arise. On the rare occasion that there has been an issue Orange has always taken care of it with no fuss. It's used equipment. No matter how well they test it parts can still fail no matter who you buy it from. What matters is how you're treated when problems occur. We couldn't be happier.

I called and they wanted me to start moving the CPUs around to see if the issue continued...I was told if it did they would send me a new motherboard (that I would have to install. Yes me install a new motherboard in a server...I told them they were creating more issues than what we have on hand as I know nothing about the inside of a server). I did as they asked and moved the CPU to find it was still hot...I called with the results thinking that as they had stated we would soon be installing a new motherboard and we could get the server up and running...but then they decided that I should remove two of the processors and see what happens....I was told that if the CPU was still hot we would then start testing the memory. I have had enough...what happens after the memory test? Will they want me to get a meter and test all the currents in the capacitors. Yes the warranty states a year but by the time you have pulled and moved all the stuff around they want the end user to do...the warrant will have long expired. He had it from Friday morning from 10:25am- approx same time of the day on the following Monday 05/09/2015. I made 2 trips to the business on Saturday 5/7/2016, each time trying to see if & when I would be able to get the computer back. Then, Darryl Comer choose to send me a vial & threatening voice mail stating he is refusing to do the repair, he threatened me if I he ever saw me close to his business beside picking up my laptop. I picked up my laptop after it sitting amongst a computer graveyard. I asked for my deposit back and the gal working slowly moved a stack of empty boxes that blocked a sign stating deposit will not be returned if customer choose for them to not do the repair. Darryl Comer made that decision, NOT ME! This was a matter of principle. I don't care if it was $1 or $25., he made all of the decisions including not touching my laptop. So, I contacted my CC and of course I was going to appeal the charge. So, I gave my version and Comer gave a very different one UPDATE: After a complete investigation I was refunded the deposit Comer refused to return, By phone he said my laptop needed a piece & would need to be ordered, when I did get it repaired the following day, a group of 20+ professionals all looked at each other a bit dumbfounded when I told them what piece he said he had to order. They said they had never even heard of it.
