The theater is small but the actors in both productions were excellent and the plays were intelligent and moving. If I lived in Eugene, I would definitely become a subscriber.

When you arrive from the south (as we did) you are met with a giant staircase to enter. Turns out there is a ramp on the north side. You wouldn't know that though, as there is nary a sign to be seen. Once you go around the building you can get in. There are metal detectors. They're sort of unattended though, or at least the people working them are far on the other side. What's a wheelchair to do? We tried getting someone's attention and eventually they irritatedly told us to just go through. We did. Not sure what kind of metal detectors those are supposed to be when the fully metal wheelchair didn't set them off. Now... our tickets are on the mezzanine. How do we get there? Lots of stairs.... No signs for an elevator. Had to ask around. There is one- way around the corner. It's small, old, and slow. But we got there. No bathrooms on the mezzanine though. Too bad for us. Then, after the show... the elevator.... There's a sign telling able bodied people to take the stairs.... But they don't. They just look at us sheep faced as they come down from the higher balconies packed full so we can't get in. No attendant or anything, no staff member to tell them no, so... us folx with wheelchairs and canes and walkers, we just wait for all the able bodies to get down. (And of course not all disabilities are visible. But their eyes told us their guilt.) We were there to see Tig Notaro. I think she'd be ashamed of some of her fans. And the venue. Do better.

I ordered my tickets to the Morgan Jay show Online. It was easy to pick my seat and also receive my…read moreticket. The venue is pretty spacious and the seats were decent. I sat in Row C so I was fairly close to the front. This venue does offer some snacks as well as drinks for purchase. The drink prices were about average for when you go to a venue. There is plenty of restaurant options nearby as well as a couple hotels to stay at if you're out of town like me.

I would not say this is the best place in town for a show unless you like long bathroom lines at…read moreintermission, clear bag policies, not being able to bring your own food and water and then being faced with junk food concessions(cash only, $3 ATM fee), and mostly alcohol and other unhealthy drinks. Staff members were nice and helpful though and they do get some good acts coming through town.

The facility's ambience has a modern feel to it, and it is completely wheelchair accessible with easy access to seating and exits. The audience seating is steeply angled to provide a clear view of the stage, and the chairs are comfortable. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. I look forward to seeing more performances here.

For almost $400 for 2 hours when the kids had 40 min of game play all together was not worth it. Had half the kids quit an hour early due to being frustrated at the equipment. It's centralized location in beautiful Alton Baker Park makes it easy to utilize public transportation and it's right off the bike path. Free parking. Inside the venue there are areas to dance or just chill in the grass with a great view of the stage. Food and beverage vendors and indoor restrooms. The Cuthbert features a good mix of music genres from nationally and locally known artists. Even when I can't afford a ticket I enjoy just sitting in the park. I always see people I know. Sometimes I can't handle going to whole concerts and going through security lines. So I like the option to just come and enjoy the ambiance for a little while. It's just very accessible, very local, fantastic outdoor venues and a jewel of the city of Eugene. If you haven't seen a show at Cuthbert, you are missing out big time.

We've been going to cuthbert for years, but last night will be our last time! We perused the…read moreinternet to find Tony Bahama chairs are now banned, so we took our low beach chairs. After standing in line for an hour, we were told the seats on said chairs were too tall at 6", so had to cut through lines to get to a certain tent to have the confiscated. Fortunately they have loaner chairs which was the only plus of this venue. Then we find the choices of food vendors was very slim, causing the lines to be very long. We usually place our seats up high on the slight grade, knowing people like to stand t/o the concerts down low. Last night, it didn't matter as everyone thought it was ok to stand, blocking the view of many people who could not stand due to age, etc. I think the whole venue was mismanaged. More entry gates, food vendors, and encouragement for patrons to remain seated t/o any concert NEED to be utilized.

Chairs are in rows with tables scattered in the middle so you have a spot to put your drink down. They mainly focus on Jazz (obviously) but they have the occasional bluegrass show. They have a connection with the U of O so there are plenty of shows featuring students and professors. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for purchase along with some small bagged snacks.
