When it works its great when it does not.. It's the biggest…read morepain in the game.. An even bigger pain is when they try to fix it over the phone and they don't take notes that you have already talked to 4 - 6 different people with contradicting info on your account! Heck they even sent us to the office to change our modem.. We were giving one that our TECH said was pretty much obsolete! That's not cool! First tech came out and said when you need a new drop line... Few days later a 2nd tech came out and said no you don't need a new drop that person was an, "incompetent idiot!" Well he must know something cause he got us a new modem and got our internet back up and running in 40 minutes! This was after it has been out for almost 14 strait days after some maintenance Mediacom did to our building! So our last tech I give a 5 out of 5... The service and lack of communication and the first tech gets a 1 star.. We will round up to 2 cause its back working!

Forced to pay for terrible service…read more I live at the Spring Creek senior apartments (managed by Anawim Housing) in Pleasant Hill, IA, and it should come as no surprise that after giving the complex itself a 1-star review, they have now forced this terrible ISP onto their residents. Management recently decided to "bundle" Mediacom Wi-Fi directly into our rent, giving us zero choice in the matter. This is a prime example of what happens when governments deregulate telecoms, utilities, and landlords--consumers lose all leverage. We are trapped paying for a crappy, unreliable service that we didn't ask for. Avoid both this property management company and this ISP if you value reliable service and consumer choice.
