Worst Internet connection ever, this is a reseller, they get internet through Spectrum. Look when testing speeds you will see Austin spectrum server in my case. Incompetent customer service, I changed apartments, from one unit to another because Internet issues mostly, absolutely the same, change 4 routers 6 cables. Tried in all devices available at home, phones, tv, 14 gen gaming PC, 3 laptops. Dude you internet is trash and expensive. Pls stop taking people money and time. You better improve your services or quick. I'm paying more than $100 and look results on the tests at pictures Download 132 mbps upload 48 mbps FOR REAL? very bad for apartment complex management contracting trash services hurting residents, to get good deals, at the end of the day everything is about money, not good services and quality. If I could give NexGen -5 stars, I would. Terrible, terrible. Constantly has outages, at times the outages are for DAYS. Never had any issues with an internet provider like this. read more

Absolutely garbage internet provider. Extremely inconsistent, never close to speeds you pay for, customer service and tech support are a joke. We've had them for a month and after "upgrading" our apartment community their service has randomly shut off and hasn't come back on. I love my community, but this provider makes my life hell. read more

Have a had multiple outages with them on regular days. Have tried contacting during business hours for explaination and the auto system would hang up before incouod even reach someone. Tried using the autopsy system and create an account but its says my account already exists under my email address. So I try reaetting my account with that email address and they now say that account DOESNT exist. Poor product and poor infrastructure. Will be swapping services ASAP read more

Please see my tip below in the tip section. Triple check your technician appointment date and ask for confirmation. They will get the dates mixed up. Trust me: you don't want to be waiting in your apartment for a phantom technician who will never show up because NexGen can't schedule an appointment properly. The technician over the phone also sighed when I was trying to understand/ask what all the different cords connected to the cable box mean. How can one find a particular cord when one does not even know what to look for? Not every customer is a tech expert. NexGen should train its staff, especially its over-the-phone technicians, to exercise more patience. read more

NexGen cut a deal to wire my apartment building for internet and be the sole provider. Without this exclusive agreement I can't imagine anyone would utilize them. Speeds are slower than advertised, they cannot keep up in peak times. You don't have access to a modem as you would with traditional providers, therefore if you decide not to rent their router and use your own good luck. read more

This company is so worthless that I called to disconnect my internet they disconnected my DTV which is under a 2 yr contract!

I think they are happy to have horrible service at an extremely high price....I would never rent from a building that has this Internet service again! When I called to complain about my horrible service they pretty much laughed, and said that I couldn't go to any other internet provider because this building has made a deal with them. I pay 70 bucks a month for 20GB, and after doing a speed test I only receive 16GB. I'm paying 1200 a month for rent and the only thing that sucks is the Internet from NEXGEN. read more

the internet connection was way overpriced but we didnt have any choice because the apartment complex had them exclusively. When moving out i hd called a couple times to disconnect our service but no one answered on multiple times i called. Unfortunately i had forgotten to follow up the next couple day because again we had just moved and had plenty on my plate do. So finally someone requested service on the old address and they verified if i had moved. I said yes like two weeks ago. So they are still charging me the whole month that we didnt get to use it Because i didnt let them know. I think its just such a rip off for higher rates and then trying to charge us on something we didnt even get to use!! I would never recommend this company to anyone where they dont know how to make customers happy. read more

Horrible horrible horrible horrible company. Customer service reps genuinely do not care what you are saying, they are there to get you off the phone. Never call back when they say they are going to. Unfortunately they are the only provider in my area. I work from home and told them I needed quality internet because of my job and am willing to pay if that equals no issues. Have since upgraded twice and still cuts out multiple times every day. Reps are clueless can't tell me why. Advise everyone to stay the hell away. read more
