IF I COULD GIVE -5 I WOULD. BEWARE!!!! ABE purposely break things on your car & steal from you. Pay attention ito if you get your car back from them & then u need repairs again 2 or 3 weeks later. They seem & talk nice but they purposely break other things on your car & get mad when you call them out on it. Take pictures if you can because they will steal your brand new battery you just bought from them a month ago & give you a dold busted battery they charged up a little & professional theif , lier & crook claim they did nothing. Especially if you have something like American auto or car shield. They will bill for things that they don't even fix & give your vehicle back in worse condition. I thought they were good until I noticed how I had to get repairs every 2 or 3 weeks after them supposedly fixing my car. Ive had my car 10yrs & have kept up with all repairs & I have NEVER had to have my car fixed so many times in the same yr. Who get a new engine because of an oil leak & then still has an oil leak on the new engine. Who repairs their car 3 times for the same tire squeak that wasn't their when metro auto took the car but get car back squeaking . Put the car in the shop with engine light on they give it back with same light on & say drive it around for a while then bring it back & when u do bring it back they claim they don't remember no light being on & I didn't say the light was on now they also will fraudulently charge your credit card for rental u didn't have & then get mad when you find out & open a fraud claim with your bank. UPDATE: this business contacted the owner trying to get comment taken down in return for rental agreement that was withheld to keep owner from getting rental reimbursement back from their insurance. I wouldn't recommend that they fix a tire on a big wheel. They are scammers. They were supposed to fix my car but instead had it impounded for abandonment. Mind you my car was in their possession for a week before they even looked at it. Then they claim to have fixed the problem but the car still wasn't working. This is after supposedly putting it on the diagnostic machine to find out the problem. Then they proceed to tell me it'll be a additional charge of $480 on top of the $500 for what they didn't fix. I'm calling them and waiting for them to let me know what is exactly wrong with the car and what do they do, call Able towing in Warren MI to come get my car stating that it was abandoned. Mind u my car hasn't even been there for a month, and to no fault of my own. Yes I called several times about my car but I got the run around each time. Now I'm out of $540 for towing and storage for a car they were on to fix and didn't and it still doesn't run. Mind u they made sure it wouldn't run because they took out my battery and they still have it. Mind you my battery wasn't a problem when they got it, but they claimed I needed a new one. on 07/24/2021 i took my car to metro auto care goodlyear located at 7575 e. 8 mile rd, warren, michigan 48091 586-758-2233.per attached repair invoice 11940 estimate #013136 f168196 i asked for my tires to be rotoed and while the tires were off to check my brake pads as i felt a slight vibrationadvised i needed a blend door actuater as the air was only coming out on vent not floor or defrosti signed a $50.00 check out fee to be applied to my repairsthe tire rotation was quoted at $25.00i received a call stating that i did indeed need a blend door actuator and they quoted me $395.00.i was then told all 4 brake pads were below 30% and needed to be replacedwhen i questioned the ac repair and why it was double what i had been quoted at another shop i was told the entire dashboard had to come out to access the part. interesting because i had already looked up the repair and how to access the part.i declined the repair stating i had already looked up the repair procedure and you only remove the glove box and side access panel to access the part and that i would be there to pick up my car.i only live 2 blocks away so we were there in less than 5 minutes.upon arrival my car was half in and half out of the service bay and the tech was in the passenger seat with my glove box out.when i questioned the cost of the repair, i was told the entire dashboard had to come out yet the glove box was removed clearly showing they had no intention of removing the glove box or they never attempted the repair until i told them how it was done.then the guy changed his story stating the repair was so much because they only use dealer parts. funny because dealer parts have a 1 year warranty and the sign hanging at the service desk clearly read 6 month warranty on parts 3 month on laborsecondly, i asked that my tires be rotated and while my wheels were off to look at my brakes however, when i questioned if my tires were rotated, i was told no we won't do anything for you because you were rude.so, my next question is... how did you quote all four brake pads need to be replaced because they were under 30% if you never took the wheels off? my vehicle was never in the air my wheels never came off. yet they quoted me for brakes?they still charged me a $50.00 check out fee and did not even rotate my tires. they refused to rotate them because i caught them in their fraudulent activity and still charged me to get my car back.furthermore, if you google an ac blend door the national average is $197.00i have been a service writer for 31 years and i am horrified this still takes place.i live in a poverty-stricken community and there are trash repair facilities taking advantage of singe women.well, this single woman has been a service writer over 25 years. i am also employed at fca "chrysler" at the engineering center as a service and warranty coordinator so yes, i know a thing or two about cars.i have sent a copy of this to the better business bureau, fox 2 & channel 7 along with the state of michigan labor and regulatory affairs and the mayor of warren and my state rep andy levin in hopes of a refund and that this does not happen to anymore inncoent people.how are you going to charge a $50.00 checkout that is applied to repairs but flat out refused to rotate the tires you never took off to give your fraudulent brake quote??i robbed period!! hello mayor fouts,thank you for reaching out to me on monday, july 26. per your request i am just giving you an update...when i spoke with you that evening i had told you that a guy by the name of "calvin johnson" had called me a few minutes earlier appologizing and letting me know that the person working that day had been put on administrative leave and that they were appauled at the behavior and situation. he assured me this was not how they ran their business and he would be refunding me immediately.the warren police officer that contacted me, per your request, regarding fraud charges was also told that this man was going to refund my money and therefore i would hold off on the fraud charges.unfortunately, i have not recieved a refund and it has been over two weeks. i did call this morning 586-275-6385 and ask to speak to the manager as this is the number that he, "calvin johnson", called me from. unfortunately the call lasted only 37 seconds with him saying "fuck you" and hanging up!!silly me for assuming i could take "the word" of someone representing such a horrible establishment. thankfully i have the call recorded as well and will be forwarding that as well.i have attached the letter i received from lara who has launched an investigation. i was to let them know if things have been resolved but clearly they have not.i guess i will just forget about my refund and take this as a lesson learned but not until a read more

WARNING - DO NOT get your car repaired here!!! This is the worse auto car repair center I've ever been to by far! The good reviews are definitely a fluke and are clearly from family and friends. I paid $1400 to this company upfront as requested for a timing change repair the end of January 2021. In addition to $329 for a brand-new timing change specific to this vehicle from the dealership. Due to working from home over the last year my car was barely driven. Once I started to drive regularly commuting from work and the kid to school I noticed a very noticeable change in how my car was driven. My husband took my car back to this place Friday, Sept. 3rd because it had the same erratic driving condition as prior to the timing change being replaced. They weren't available at the time, we went to another shop to confirm the issue and they checked the car thoroughly and determined it was the timing change again. Once we took it back on Tuesday morning because the labor is still under warranty they blatantly lied and said your car was driven over 20,000 Miles in 7 months and the engine is bad and you have no oil. Mind you we already took the car to another repair shop, my husband checked the oil prior to taking the car and it was checked at the other auto repair shop. My car even has a sensor that alerts me when the oil is low and needs to be changed. There was no oil stains in our driveway. They blatantly lied because their policy is to fix or warranty the labor up to a year and/or 20,000 miles. We decided to pick up the car because we believe they drained the oil and would purposely do more damage so that they didn't have to fix something we paid them to fix and should have been under warranty. He spoke with another person the following day because they said return once they've spoken to the owner. The next day the guy was just as rude and extremely disrespectful. They purposely printed a sign and put on the counter to say they warranty cars up to 90 days. When we came the day previously the sign was not there. They purposely put in that the car had 15,000 more miles when we brought in the car. They had 190,000 miles in their system in January 28, 2021. Mind you the car was bought in 2018 with 186,000 miles. The car was taken to get the brakes, wheel bearings, and rotors done on January 30, 2021 right after the timing change was done 10miles down the road and there were 205,636 miles to be exact. However, during a pandemic when I was working virtually I supposedly put over 20,000 miles on my car??? It's at 210k now, if you do the math that's less than 5,000 miles. After we showed proof and called their bluff they called my husband a liar, disrespected him, and treated him like crap for requesting they honor their policy. They are a very shady business, unprofessional, and have no moral compass what so ever. There was a lady there as well who was upset because this was her 3rd time there within 2 weeks because they hadn't fixed the problem the first 2 times on her car. They grossly overcharged me for work that they said would take two days and only took half a day. Charging me 2400 dollars for the over all project. Didn't repair everything they claimed to repair which is totally wrong. I went through a finance company so I couldn't even dispute the charges with the company because this company claimed to have done all the work which they hadn't I took it for a second opinion something I should of done from the beginning but trusted them my mistake. All my engine lights came back on. I went in for just the front breaks and then claimed my engine was gonna "fall out" funny my other mechanic never mentioned that but they found it hmmm or did they cause it? Who knows? Should of stuck with the one I trusted. I'll be reporting them to the attorney general as well as other places for not completing all the work, and over charging. First off, like others serviced here my first couple of experiences with these people were good. Had two vehicles serviced all in the same month no problems. It wasn't until I took my Mercedes Benz in to be serviced for repairs back in October of this year that I had a terrible experience. On 10/8 went in to this location to have needed front end work. At the time they recommended rear brakes and rotors, which I went with. Total of more than $1300 worth of work. When they had a scanner attached to my cars computer while aligning the vehicle is when I first noticed them crowding around like they were having an issue with something. After a longer wait, I noticed they finally taking it out for a test drive as any mechanic would after repairs. First issue was that they let a person working there who did not work on the car test drive. Which is idiotic. Once he pulled on to 8 mile, I knew something was definitely wrong. Traffic is 40mph on 8 mile, he was driving about 10mph in on coming traffic. Instead of pulling off the road, he kept going. Finally arriving back at the shop about 10 minutes later. From there they pulled it back in and started scanning, resetting and switching things around with the cars Computer. They couldn't figure out what they did wrong, so they called someone else to come to the shop. At this point I had been waiting almost the entire business day for my car. Since I didn't recognize this new person that arrived and just started doing more of the same I went out to see what was really going on, since nobody bothered to inform me. That's when the dude told me he was the owner and his name was cal. I gave him more chance to get it right, which he couldn't. He asked if I could bring it back the next morning so he'd have more time, since it was closing time and promised it would be repaired. He also said he would have to deactivate dyna mode with his scanner in order for me to be able to drive it home. They all seemed more concerned with getting out and closing than taking care of the issues with the car that began while being serviced by them. So I left to return first thing the next with a vehicle with inoperable safety features. BRAKE, EBV, ABS, ESP all inoperable. The next day while waiting once again for my vehicle, I discovered the car wasnt even in the shop. It had been driven to another shop on Schoenner and 8 mile where Cal was working. This irritated me. Once again NOBODY told me a damn thing. I told them if that was the case to take me there. The salesmen and manager started getting attitudes like I was the reason for their inconveniences. When it was them who screwed up the car in the first place. The vehicle had none of those issues before being serviced by Metro Auto Care Goodyear and their mechanics and employees. I arrive to Cals to find him and another tech scanning, test driving and doing more things with the computer. After a while, I just request that if they can't figure it out to send it to the dealer. Cal tells me he knows someone at a dealer, but the person wouldn't be in until 1p and could send it then. This was strange right off seeing as it shouldn't matter if his friend was working or not, I'm sure the dealer has other techs. But I agreed to wait until 1pm. When it arrived instead of towing it over, which his transporter began to do. He tells him to quote "Just drive it over". An ill advised suggestion as the car was unsafe, but they did. The vehicle arrived back after hours of waiting with the diagnosis that the computer would have to be repaired, along with a $1600 fee. Of course this upset me, as it would anybody who just came out of over $1,300 only to have their vehicle worse off than when it went in. After some back and forth discussion, including him telling me he's not paying $1600, and that he spent over $100 to have the car checked and my rebuttal of so, and I just paid you almost $1400. Cal indicates he will fix it and to just give him a chance to make it right. He said he'd put a locator out to find a used one and I agreed to that. Ignored ever since! Sent owner a certified letter 11/30/2019 its now 12/12/2019. Obviously they have no intention of correcting their mistakes. Leaves only litigation as an option. Sad business, I would have utilized them as the go-to family and friends repair Facilty. Be careful, do not get ripped off by this Facilty. Get credentials, check pricing and get everything in writing. No friends when business is involved. read more
