The employee there looked at it, said it was a loose screw, fixed it, and didn't even charge him for it. I came today for an oil change. I had an appointment at 9 AM. (I called two days ago and this was the earliest available time, so be sure to call ahead!) When I got there, my car was brought right in. I was in and out in half an hour. It cost about $40, very reasonable. I am so thrilled to find this gem so close to home. This will be my go-to place for car issues. I've also recommended this place to my friends!

The car I was…read moredriving had a breakpad that was wearing down the metal rotor and it was making an etch in the rotor so I needed to get a pad fast. I call this place and he quoted me a pad price and install and he was 1.5 miles away. He said it'd take over 2hrs to fix but he did it in less time and gave me a diagnostic very quickly so I knew what I was up against. It's not glamorous and honestly I don't want my mechanic glamorous, I want one that gets his hands dirty and gets the job done and that's exactly what I got. He got me out of a pinch and I'm really glad I was in the area, I would go back here.

They charged me $450 to diagnose and fix the problem. They claimed the rear brakes were installed incorrectly and needed to be redone (just had new brakes put in, in the fall). Not only did they fail to fix the problem, they failed to diagnose the problem. They didn't even replace both rear brake pads and rotors as they said they would. I'm now out $450 and in the same boat I was in but with uneven braking. After talking to the owner, it was clear they only wanted to sell me on more repairs. They had no interest in making it right. The guy is a salesman not a mechanic. Would not recommend.

I called up the auto mechanic shop and was greeted with a gentlemen who turned out to be the owner - Greg. Greg, asked me a few questions about my vehicle and ended up scheduling me same day for an oil and filter change. Upon arrival, I was immediately noticed how clean and organized the shop was along with how friendly the guys were. What I loved about this place was how efficient and professional they were with me. Being a female and bringing a vehicle in for service, it's somewhat nerve wrecking because a lot of auto shops can/will take advantage of women, but NOT this shop. I dropped my car off and walked down the street to a shopping center while I waited for my car to be fixed. Greg ended up calling me an hour later notifying me that he was finished with the oil and filter change and recommended that I get another filter within the vehicle replaced within the next 10k miles. Usually, auto shops will pressure you to buy this and replace that..not these guys. I felt really good about bringing my Jeep here and I'm glad I did. He even took the time to show me how to check for certain updates on my vehicle that I wasn't aware of on the dashboard. Going forward, this will be my new place to bring my car for check-ups and repairs. Thanks Greg, I'll be back!

Robin kept me informed throughout the process, called me before pickup to review the repairs and recommendations, and treated my concerns seriously. It is not always easy to find a repair facility that is willing to take the time to explain things and help a customer understand what is going on with their vehicle, but that was my experience with Paul's Auto Service.
