This time I booked an all-around helper, and Rosane sent us Tovah. She was fantastic!!! SO helpful the entire time, start to finish. She did so much more, I just can't possibly list it all. I want to use WHYH for every party I throw.

We found Jane on IG after she had coordinated a beautiful multi-cultural wedding that we fell in…read morelove with! Although we met with other wedding planners, Jane immediately stood out on our initial consultation meeting as someone who was warm, dependable, and organized. Jane was always thorough with having everything organized through excel sheets, documents, texts, calls, and emails. She was flexible with our busy resident schedules and always transparent with her timing/scheduling as well. She kept us on track as deadlines approached and was perfectly balanced in communicating with us. We don't have many family members or friends who have had weddings, and having Jane made us always feel at ease throughout the wedding planning process. She allowed us to have fun in personalizing what was important to us as a couple. She narrowed down choices and gave her suggestions when we couldn't finalize a decision. She somehow always presented us with exceptional inspo/finalized examples from more broad ideas/thoughts that we had. Her eye for design and ability to capture what we wanted is simply impeccable! We were constantly in awe as we saw the details of our vision board for a vibrant Asian-American wedding (with both Vietnamese and Indonesian details) come to life on wedding day. We are especially appreciative of how she designed a beautiful memorial table honoring our late mother and grandmother. On wedding day, Jane made sure we had protected time to just breathe, be present, and enjoy the day. Through it all Jane kept us grounded with her steadiness and knowledgeable experience! Jon was also our DJ and was so lovely to work with as well! He had the perfect edits to the songs we wanted to incorporate and played the dance set of our millennial dreams lol!! We did not want to stop dancing and singing. Our guests could not stop complimenting Jon after, we all had so much fun on the dance floor. You know the DJ is so good when you'd rather be on the dance floor than getting last minute pictures with all of the aunties! Everyone danced up until the last second when the lights finally came on. It was also very reassuring working with vendors Jane has known and fostered close relationships with over the years. We loved all of our vendors! Jane has done an amazing job with how intentional she is in collaborating with a variety of small, women-owned, BIPOC businesses for our wedding. Jane was also so respectful with learning about and honoring different aspects of our respective cultures into our wedding. Yu & Us clearly stand out from the field in terms of curating weddings that feel intentional, personable, and unique. There are so many more things we could write and rave about for Jane & Jon, but we truly loved working with them for our wedding and couldn't recommend them more for any wedding planning needs!

If you're looking for a DJ who knows how to keep a dance floor full, I can't recommend Jon enough…read more He DJ'd part of our wedding at Solage in Calistoga, CA, and the energy was so much fun. What really stood out to me was how well he read the crowd. He knows so many different genres of music spanning several decades, his mixing is incredibly creative and smooth (at least to my completely untrained ear), and he never lets a song go on for too long. It doesn't feel like someone just hit play on a Spotify playlist -- he reads the room and keeping the party going with the right songs at the right time. I also really appreciated that he's not the star of the show. He isn't constantly talking over the music, and he knows when to make an announcement and when to just let everyone have a fun and chill night. If you want to have the best music and a really fun time, I'd happily recommend him for any wedding or event!

We had easy communication leading up to the big day, and on the day of, the team made everything seamless. Once I passed off all decor, things magically appeared in the right place exactly where and when I needed them. They kept us on pace with our timeline, which there was no way we could have managed as the bride and groom. The moms and aunties couldn't stop raving about what a good job they did. Especially since we were able to start dinner on time and not 2 hours late (which can be common in Chinese receptions...).

My husband and I LOVED working with Sarah and her team. If you're looking for non-templated wedding…read moreconcepts, work with Sarah! If this review is too long to read, just check out the images to see our final result. During our planner interviews, we focused on finding someone who could execute our multicultural wedding vision. From MWS' blogs and interview, we could tell they fully understand how to create unique multicultural weddings. One important tip for newly engaged couples - wedding planners don't create the designs of your wedding!! It's the florists' job. So finding a good planner is important because then they'll help you find good vendors, communicate your vision, and make sure everything is executed perfectly on the actual day. We had a BLAST on our wedding day. We knew Sarah's team got our backs, so we weren't stressed at all. I cannot stress enough the importance of the planner's role in your wedding!! They're the project manager. Their leadership and execution will affect your entire wedding and how well your vendors set up everything. The day of the wedding - our hotel venue Pasea hotel promised us that we'd be the only wedding booked on our wedding day. This was promised before we signed with them. On the day of, we realized they double booked another couple's reception without telling us. I actually bumped into the other bride and was very surprised about the whole thing. Sarah talked to the other wedding planner and made sure their music was lowered during our ceremony. everything went smoothly for both parties. 10/10 execution. Another green flag about MWS is that they helped us minimized our budgets. Sarah was real with us lmao. Whenever our ideas went too crazy, she'll hone us back and help find alternatives. Her network of vendors are all affordable and very creative, so that saved us a lot of work. Attitude 10/10. Our guests loved Sarah. She's bubbly but also will get sh*t done. I've been to weddings where stressed out planners would give off weird vibes to the wedding parties, but not this girl. She made everyone felt at ease while rushing people to stick to our schedules of the day. Just wanna say thank you Sarah again for making our most important day magical. You rock and don't be a stranger girl! Love, Brendan and Connie

We hired Liquid Catering for our 130 person wedding in April of 2026. From the start, they were…read moreextremely responsive and helpful in their communications when we had questions or requests. Their pricing was very competitive, even for upgrading to higher-end alcohol. We were able to have three specialty cocktails, and they accommodated our request for specific upgraded garnishes for a very low price. They even helped us design and print custom menus for these cocktails with our dogs' sketches on them. They only charged $15 total for this!! They were one of the few vendors who didn't seem to charge us an arm and a leg and have massive upcharges and fees just because this was a wedding. Their pricing was fair and transparent. They were flexible when we wanted them to serve wines that were off their list -- they would either serve it if we ordered it/provided it or offered to order it themselves and handle all the logistics. Again, their prices for doing this seemed to be comparable to if we handled the logistics ourselves, so of course we went with having them order, bring, and serve, the wines we requested. We got to keep all the extra bottles at the end too. They accidentally took these bottles with them at the end of the night, which was no big deal at all since there was so many moving pieces. When we asked them if they might have accidentally taken any bottles with them they were extremely apologetic and had someone deliver all the leftover bottles to our doorstep within 24 hours. Day of wedding, our guests were so happy with their service. Everyone we've talked to said the drinks were strong and delicious. The bartenders were super friendly and the guests had a blast with them. 10/10 would recommend for any event and would use them again in the future.

Her service was impeccable handling restock of our appetizers, tray passing others and handling the birthday cake.
