Loved the drinks, and working with Iveth was fabulous. They helped cater to our mostly non-alcoholic NA menu by crafting a menu that worked wonders. (Most guests didn't realize they were NA drinks till their 3r'd bev!) Hope to put together another fun event so we can work together again. LA Speakeasy is AMAZING!!!! I contacted them through the Yelp inquiry for a cocktail making class for a bachelorette party. Iveth replied with a general outline of how a class would be structured and pricing. It was very organized and fit exactly what we were looking for. I am so happy we went with LA Speakeasy. Communication was great. Iveth was responsive and provided an alcohol shopping list weeks prior to the event. The day of the party, their team provided literally EVERYTHING needed for a super fun and engaging class. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful and aesthetic it was. It was perfect and I can't say enough great things about this team. read more

Love when this portable and mobile Speakeasy graces my life with it's amazing presence and mixologist. The modern cocktails are impressive, but those signatures will knock your socks off... If you were socks... Definitely your shoes! Play It Cool, Nirvana and absolutely the Same Same ( gin based with lychee, lemon & lavender) are where the drink magic happens. My first experience was through a private Yelp event, but have also run into them at a pop up randomly this year. Some of the coolest people you'll ever meet! Franky especially! 10 out of 10 for all occasions including birthdays, weddings, holiday events, etc... Now if only I could get them for New Years Eve... read more

Reached out to this company for a private event, was told that they would get back to me with pricing and never heard from them.

We hired LA Speakeasy for my birthday this past weekend and had a great experience. After researching a few different bartending services, I felt that this company provided the most straightforward process for understanding your options and pricing before booking. After booking, their communication and timeliness in email made the coordination process was easy. Iveth and Vincent worked the event and were both great and very professional. The 4 specialty cocktails we chose were great too! I would highly recommend these guys if you are looking into having bartenders at your event. read more

Hiring LA SpeakEasy was such the best choice. We just got married in June and we knew we wanted to hire a bartender for the reception. Our biggest budget was for food and drinks and omg we were so happy that we spent the money on this service! They supply everything (but the booze) and Brian our Bartender was great! We had about 50-60 people (including a few kids/our grandkids) nobody had to really wait long for their drinks and they were delicious I would highly recommend them read more

Hands down must hire LA Speakeasy for your next event. The process was very simple and their response time was with in the hour every time I reached out. From the moment I requested a quote to any final questions I had leading up to event. Drinks + set up: The drinks were on point and the attention to detail was flawless. Thank you for helping make my our event a success. We celebrated my brothers 50th birthday with a "cheers/bar" theme celebration. LA Speakeasy was the perfect fit! read more

These guys are amazing! They bartended at our wedding back in April 2019 at LA River Center and Gardens and I'd highly recommend them to anyone. We had approximately 150 guests who drank like 250 guests and these bartenders made sure no one was thirsty. Excellent service Excellent professionalism Excellent attitude read more

They were the bartenders for wedding we attended in May 2018. They did a good job for the most part though two of the three bartenders seemed like they were training and pour drinks fairly slowly. Being that during the cocktail hour and there was only one line, this made for quite a queuing process. Once the reception started, however, they had three individuals working the bar and things worked out smoothly. Cocktails were unique and themed to the wedding and pretty delicious. They use fresh fruit and good ingredients and a nice amount of alcohol. Overall, pretty good. read more

Yelp 100 2017 Challenge 103/100 This review is for my Yelp Event End of Prohibition. Great environment, great friends, great music, and great atmosphere!! Very festive almost everyone got dressed up! The drinks were really strong! They passed out the three tickets which you redeem for the free drinks. I got the Same Same Lychee drink (gin), Old-Fashioned (bourbon), and then Black & Sour (bourbon). Plenty of hors d'oeuvres / appetizers including fruits, cheeses, pieces of bread, and other munchies. Don't let the neighborhood intimidate you. Be brave! ;) Street parking only. I recommend to everyone. read more

It's not enough to say that I am a HUGE fan of LA SPEAKEASY!! These folks are the very best and by far one of the most crucial components of our wedding. I am so happy we came across them on yelp. From the moment we had our tasting we knew we found our bar service. ALL and I do mean ALL of their cocktails were amazing. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the drinks. They are true mixologists and masters of their craft. The communication was flawless, they're affordable, very professional and super friendly! We could tell they were having just as much fun as our guests did. It felt like we had family serving us drinks. Their energy was so great! The way it works is, you provide all the booze, they provide the rest (cups, napkins, fresh mixes/juices, garnishes, ice etc.) the whole nine. Vincent is super helpful in figuring out how much alcohol you need to buy so you don't run out. They also accomodated some last minute additions we had (my dad made homemade Mexican ponche that was to be served in a specific way) and they did it all with a smile. Most importantly, their pour is perfect. I would recommend LA Speakeasy 100 times over to anyone looking for a service that makes amazing drinks and provides awesome service. Big ups to Vincent, Iveth and the rest of the staff on being such an awesome part of our big day. You kept us happy and dancing all night long! Look no further yelpers, you've found the right people to handle your bar! Book them fast while you can! I have no doubt LA Speakeasy keeps very busy! SALUD! read more

LA Speakeasy is the best! We had them handle the bar at our wedding in DLTA a few weeks ago. Everyone loved the craft drinks they made, and the service was efficient (so important with a large guest count!) They are really cool to work with as well. Highly recommend! read more

If I could give LA Speakeasy 100 stars I would! They're INCREDIBLE! They saved out butts for our party my company hosted in downtown LA. I would hire LA Speakeasy 100 times over. They are our go to for any more parties we have in LA. Thank you so much!!! read more

If you're planning an event and you value having your guests enjoy great cocktails, then LA Speakeasy is DEFINITELY your best choice. My husband and I were debating hiring professional bartenders for our wedding, or trying to DIY our entire bar - cocktail recipes and all. We are SO HAPPY we decided to go with LA Speakeasy. They're the real deal. They take their drinks seriously, with fresh pressed juices, beautiful garnishes, and a major cool factor with their team of highly skilled and professional mixologists. Our guests LOVED approaching the bar, trying out the whole menu, watching the love and care they put into each drink, and they can't stop raving about how great the experience was. Follow their social media accounts - you'll get to see for yourself what a great addition they are to any event! read more

I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. First, Vincent and Iveth are the best people. They've worked hard to build this business and they've remained honest and true to their craft while doing right by their customers. The service is incredible; they come, build a bar, setup everything, you bring the booze, and they make the BEST drinks you've ever had. Oh, and before they show up at your event they invite you to a tasting, get you a little tipsy, and let you pick out the drinks for your event! And all of the drinks are GREAT! Ok, so the story of my experience with LA Speakeasy. We hired them to serve drinks at my wife's 30th birthday. We had rented an apartment in Venice with a roof, and had them shlep all of their equipment and parts of the bar up 3 flights of stairs. The party begins. Two bartenders came because the had a feeling it might get busy and, just in case, were prepared. I think they underestimated (and we may have undersold) the quantity of alcohol that would be consumed. At the moments where they should have gotten to relax (food served, cake brought out with singing) attendees at the party took the opportunity to hit the bar. They worked tirelessly all night...tirelessly with a smile on their faces, serving drinks, making people happy, without a single complaint. In fact, they kept an upbeat attitude all night while slinging drinks as fast as they were ordered! If you're having an event, and you want bartenders, this is the BEST choice. You truly can't beat the service, friendliness, beauty of the bar and drinks, and of course the quality of the cocktails! These reviews aren't bullshit. LA Speakeasy deserves every single 5 star review they receive. read more

We decided on LA Speakeasy for our wedding on the recommendation of our caterer and couldn't have been more pleased! Iveth was super helpful throughout the process and we really enjoyed being able to taste a bunch of their cocktails prior to making a decision. Our biggest concern was that w/ made to order cocktails, we'd have long bar lines but they did a pretty good job of keeping people moving--and our guest loved the drinks! Would recommend them to anyone who wants to liven up their wedding bar! read more

My first Yelp review ever, and I am thrilled to write the first one for LA Speakeasy. I attended a BMW private event in Torrance, where LA Speakeasy was hired on as a sponsor. Off the bat, Iveth and Vincent were very fun, easy going, accommodating all guests needs, while also making sure the wait time wasn't hectic. I personally am more of a 'jack and coke' gal, but the two cocktails (2 Fast 2 Furious & 617hp of Freedom - drink names went with theme of event which I thought was awesome) were the perfect drinks for the evening - energizing and refreshing! I would most definitely be reaching out to them when I have parties myself. Too bad this thing only allows 5 stars. :/ read more

LA Speakeasy really is as good as it gets! We chose to work with them for our wedding and it was the best decision. Iveth and her team were top quality and professional. They have made a life-time customer with us, we cannot wait to work with them again. read more

LA Speakeasy are the absolute best. My wife and I hired them to handle drinks at our wedding and they absolutely stole the show. We had a bunch of craft cocktail fans in attendance and all stopped us to remark at how delicious the drinks were. From our first communications, LA Speakeasy were prompt, friendly and easy to work with. They're willing to help you at every step of the way, but also offer a ton of customization. You get to choose and buy your own liquor and pick your drink menu, which lets you go as high or low as you want, price point-wise, while their top of the line mixers and bartenders still ensure everything's going to come out delicious. I couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

If you want a true mixologist for your wedding or event, LA Speakeasy is the no-brainer choice. My wifey and I were adamant to have our cocktails be the talk of the wedding, and thanks to LA Speakeasy Team (Iveth, Vincent, Frankie), they were! Iveth and Vincent took the time to perfect four signature craft cocktails a month before our wedding in November and even helped us procure specialized ice (rocks, spears) for each cocktail. Our friends are still talking about how they tried all four cocktails--at least once :). Not only are they talented, they are very down-to-earth and fit right into our wedding party. I've encountered so many bartenders at weddings who are robotic or grumpy, but Iveth and Frankie greeted every guest with a warm smile and continued to be engaging throughout the night. And it was definitely a long day for them--from 2PM to 9 PM. From the beginning to the end, it is clear you are working with people who are passionate about creating a memorable experience for their clients. We are grateful we found you and thank you for being part of our special day! When reading reviews, the challenge for me is to understand the standards and expectations of the reviewer and how they match against my own. Thus, to give you some context on my priorities, it was more important to me to find the best bartending and catering for our wedding than my own dress (which I found a week before the wedding). To give you a sense of the caliber of talent my Wifey and I were searching for, we wanted to serve cocktails that met the same quality of the establishments we frequently visit like Violet Hour (Chicago), Death & Co. (NYC), Bourbon & Branch (SF), and the Varnish (LA). LA Speakeasy Team brought that level of quality and professionalism with a lovely flare of personality. We can't wait to throw our next party so we can invite the crew back again! read more

5 stars for Iveth and her team at our wedding at Hudson Loft! They were so easy to work with and extremely flexible in working with our budget, which we were (as any to-be-married couple would be) SO appreciative of. We had vetted a MULTITUDE of bartending companies, including from Gigmaster, Thumbtack, Yelp, Wedding websites, and Google searches...and LA Speakeasy gave us the best deal We bought our own alcohol and hired them to bartend; they were quick to help us create an accurate quote of how much alcohol, juices, garnishes, etc to purchase. They were very transparent and honest with us - one of the most important things in a vendor. They created 4 signature cocktails for us, exchanging emails until we were satisfied with the drink list. The drinks....stellar. On the day-of, drinks were flowing and staff were attentive and professional. We asked for some classic cocktails with a twist, and they came up with a great list: 1. Moscow Mule - vodka, fresh ginger, fresh lime, soda, flavored with grapefruit juice. Garnish: grapefruit flag + mint 2. Madras - vodka, fresh orange, store-bought passion fruit. Garnish: half orange slice. 3. Old Fashioned - bourbon, sugar, bitters. orange peel * optional: Maraschino Liqueur 4. Nirvana - bourbon, jasmine green tea, agave, fresh lemon. Garnish: sage leaf Highly recommend LA Speakeasy! read more

We cannot begin to describe how grateful we are of this team. IV Special Events totally made our ceremony and cocktail hour. At an extremely affordable price, without cutting back on any of the quality or class, this team provided us with bartending service, cocktail tables and linen, cups, drink garnishes, and overall worked the event. Vincent worked with us with calculating the amount of drinks we should buy to accommodate our guests and he was spot on. We had some leftover, but definitely not so much that are left with years of booze. We highly recommend them and are even looking for an excuse to host another event just to use IV Special Events again. Do not look anywhere else. They are professional and a one-stop shop. THANK YOU Vincent, Iveth, and team (I'm sorry I never caught the server's name). read more

LA Speakeasy came highly recommended by the venue we chose for our wedding. From the day we first reached out for a quote, Iveth was an absolute breeze to work with and promptly answered questions and updated our project on HoneyBook. She provided us with a shopping list of all the alcohol we needed for our chosen cocktails, as well as an estimate of the beer and wine required for our guest count and we ended up with the perfect amount of everything. The two staff that we had for the afternoon and evening were both lovely to work with and they really kept things moving on the night. What is there not to love about LA Speakeasy?! I worked with them for a wedding this past weekend at the Union Station, and they completely killed it! I am writing this review wayyyy too late (a little over 2 years after my wedding) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give LA Speakeasy all the praise they deserve. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Iveth and Vince previously and found them to be so sweet and easy to work with as well as extremely professional. First of all, they make hands down the best cocktail in the biz. They are so easy and flexible to work with. I knew I wanted a tiki cocktail and they were able to create a Navy Grog inspired cocktail that was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to change all of the cocktail names and we created a custom bar menu with photos Iveth sent me of the cocktails for the artist to create from. The cocktails themselves were even more gorgeous than the drawings! My guests absolutely loved them and by the end of the night we had almost run out because my guests were in love with them. They still ask about some of them to this day! I highly recommend LA Speakeasy, I even used them for a custom Mocktail for my baby shower which was absolutely delicious and yet again my guests couldn't stop raving about it! read more
