They were the bartenders for wedding we attended in May 2018. They did a good job for the most part though two of the three bartenders seemed like they were training and pour drinks fairly slowly. Being that during the cocktail hour and there was only one line, this made for quite a queuing process. Once the reception started, however, they had three individuals working the bar and things worked out smoothly. Cocktails were unique and themed to the wedding and pretty delicious. It's not enough to say that I am a HUGE fan of LA SPEAKEASY!! These folks are the very best and by far one of the most crucial components of our wedding. I am so happy we came across them on yelp. From the moment we had our tasting we knew we found our bar service. ALL and I do mean ALL of their cocktails were amazing. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the drinks. They are true mixologists and masters of their craft. The communication was flawless, they're affordable, very professional and super friendly! We could tell they were having just as much fun as our guests did. It felt like we had family serving us drinks. Their energy was so great! The way it works is, you provide all the booze, they provide the rest (cups, napkins, fresh mixes/juices, garnishes, ice etc.) the whole nine. Vincent is super helpful in figuring out how much alcohol you need to buy so you don't run out. They also accomodated some last minute additions we had (my dad made homemade Mexican ponche that was to be served in a specific way) and they did it all with a smile. We had rented an apartment in Venice with a roof, and had them shlep all of their equipment and parts of the bar up 3 flights of stairs. The party begins. Two bartenders came because the had a feeling it might get busy and, just in case, were prepared. I think they underestimated (and we may have undersold) the quantity of alcohol that would be consumed. At the moments where they should have gotten to relax (food served, cake brought out with singing) attendees at the party took the opportunity to hit the bar. They worked tirelessly all night...tirelessly with a smile on their faces, serving drinks, making people happy, without a single complaint. In fact, they kept an upbeat attitude all night while slinging drinks as fast as they were ordered! If you're having an event, and you want bartenders, this is the BEST choice. They were so easy to work with and extremely flexible in working with our budget, which we were (as any to-be-married couple would be) SO appreciative of. We had vetted a MULTITUDE of bartending companies, including from Gigmaster, Thumbtack, Yelp, Wedding websites, and Google searches...and LA Speakeasy gave us the best deal We bought our own alcohol and hired them to bartend; they were quick to help us create an accurate quote of how much alcohol, juices, garnishes, etc to purchase. They were very transparent and honest with us - one of the most important things in a vendor. They created 4 signature cocktails for us, exchanging emails until we were satisfied with the drink list. I am writing this review wayyyy too late (a little over 2 years after my wedding) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give LA Speakeasy all the praise they deserve. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Iveth and Vince previously and found them to be so sweet and easy to work with as well as extremely professional. First of all, they make hands down the best cocktail in the biz. They are so easy and flexible to work with. I knew I wanted a tiki cocktail and they were able to create a Navy Grog inspired cocktail that was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to change all of the cocktail names and we created a custom bar menu with photos Iveth sent me of the cocktails for the artist to create from. The cocktails themselves were even more gorgeous than the drawings! My guests absolutely loved them and by the end of the night we had almost run out because my guests were in love with them.
