Mindy gave me at my foot massage for an hour and proceeded my back with my feet soaked which is the usual ritual. She then sat me back on the very comfortable chair and I dozed off as she massaged and gave me reflexology on my feet, which was absolutely wonderful. She had a strong grip and that's my preference. She kept asking me " is this okay this is okay" and of course it was okay so that was a little distracting at times. But she was very sweet about it I was just in deep slumber. I'm definitely coming back here also because the fabulous Asian market next door!

I am not trusting, so I hung my shirt up a certain way to cover my pants pockets, where my wallet is. I noticed when she was massaging my foot, she was using one hand, and I heard noise. She was massaging my foot with one hand and taking money out of my wallet with the other. I went to the ATM across the street just before going in there. I withdrew $240, counted it and put it in my wallet. When I got up from the massage, I opened my wallet and there was only $200 left in there. I was going to leave her a really good tip, but she helped herself to it.

She gave one of the most relaxing massages I've ever had. I mentioned tight glutes and ankle tendinitis, and she worked on both with care. The facial was gentle and refreshing--my skin felt so smooth afterward. My face is glowing! The spa has a cozy, peaceful vibe that instantly puts you at ease. I'll definitely be back for more sessions. Heads up: Parking in the medical plaza is tough. Give yourself at least 40 minutes to find a spot and avoid stressing before your appointment.

If asked to rate her on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give her a score of 100. A million thanks to Aidee Nodarse; may God bless her angelic hands and the wonderful person she is.

I have gone from loving this place to not being happy at all. I'm so disappointed. I went for a…read moremassage recently and I had to ask the guy to use more pressure and he assured me he was warming me up for the massage but honestly it was nowhere near enough pressure. I have never done this before but I left J&R and went to another place nearby. I have been for plenty of massages here and without a doubt this would be the worst massage or should I say lack of massage I have received. Massages are important to me and I rely on them to keep me balanced with life and to sit there during a massage and realize that it's not going to get better is frustrating. I realized it was all over when I asked the masseuse to go harder and he said he was warming me up but alas this was not the case. Another frustrating thing is you can not make an appointment and if you do call the number someone answers and last time a lady said she would look on the cameras they have in the premises and told me no one was there - I was in my car and less than two minutes away and I rock up and there is someone well and truly into a massage and someone else sitting in the chair waiting. I left. It troubled me for a couple of days as I'm a creature of comfort and once I find a good thing I stick with it as it had ticked all the boxes. I get a massage often so fortunately, I've found a place nearby for massages but as I mentioned it's disappointing as it was my go to place for relaxation and healing.

What I love most is how convenient and consistent they are. I've come here so many times with a knot in my shoulder or neck pain, and they've helped relieve so much of it. This isn't necessarily the place you come for a luxury spa experience or the aesthetics you come here because you want a genuinely good massage at a great price. I had heard of this place because it has been around forever, but had never been. Recently, I slept weird had that the most terrible pinched nerve in my upper back. My friend and a Golden Massage regular suggested I book deep tissue with Sophia. I did 30 minutes and asked her to focus on my upper left back. Wow, she really worked out all the knots I had, and after my session with her I finally felt relief. They were able to see me the same day within an hour of me calling and the total was $50. Bring cash to pay as this spot is old school. While I won't say it is the most glamourous of spas, it is a great price and they do a good job. At my first visit, we started with sitting in her office and going over my intake form. We discussed my area of concerns and lifestyle. Such a departure from so many places where the masseuse simply begins her work after a brief greeting and hardly listens to you. Lilly May has a very friendly yet professional demeanor, it's like chatting with an old friend whom you will also totally trust your body with. Her hands skillfully work out the knots (her IG handle is @ifixknottypeople haha) and I feel so much better afterwards. The massage table is very comfortable too, with heating just like fancier places. Such a good therapist is often fully booked, so do make your reservation early. My one little complain is that when making reservation online, I have to pay ahead, and they ask for the tip amount. The first time I was like, I haven't even gotten my service yet, how would I know what to tip? And would I get a bad massage if they don't think I tip generous enough?

After leaving my original review, the owner publicly accused us of lying. That response alone…read moreconfirms the level of unprofessionalism we experienced in person. To clarify the facts: we did call the business. Because the staff member on the phone spoke very limited English and communication was difficult, we were asked to continue the conversation on WhatsApp. We have call records to prove this. At no point--on Groupon, during the call, or in WhatsApp--were we informed that Groupon vouchers are only valid during certain hours. If "coupons can't be used during peak hours," that policy must be clearly disclosed on the Groupon listing. It is not. Expecting customers to guess undisclosed rules is unacceptable. Instead of being helped, we were treated rudely and told our reservation would not be honored, with no alternative offered. We were also surprised to find that only one staff member was present for a couples massage appointment. When we politely asked for an exception or any solution, we were told directly that they "don't care about reviews." Now, rather than addressing these concerns, the business chooses to publicly insult customers by calling them liars. Businesses are allowed to have policies. They are not allowed to hide them, change them after the fact, or treat paying customers with disrespect. Based on both the experience and the owner's response, I strongly do not recommend this place.
