Got my first massage done in years and was sooo happy with my experience. From being greeted by the receptionist, to the moment my therapist (Yeni) started the session & to the service afterwards it was a breeze. My therapist understood the assignment, she got all my knots out and made the hour feel like 10 min, it was truly an experience. I can't wait to come back and get another massage done read more

This place saved me!! I was in desperate need of a massage. Called in and was able to book an appointment for within an hour. Rosie is an angel sent to me today and helped my body & soul. The experience was so amazing that I signed up for the membership. No sales pitch, the inquiry was self made. Stephanie at the front made the entire process clear, easy and very pleasant. Obviously I will be back...this same week for a facial. read more

Massage Envy - My happy place - Massage Near Me - Miami, Florida

I've been coming to this location for over 10 years now and don't understand why I have not left a review sooner. I've tried so many therapists throughout the year but so far my all time favorite is Viviana. Vivi is extremely knowledgeable. She gives an amazing massage each and every time. I cannot say enough good things about her. You simply have to give her a try so call to make an advanced appointment because she books up quickly. read more

TERRIBLE ... had a membership here and wanted to cancel I had over 10 sessions paid that I had not used. When I called to cancel they said they would pass it on to a manager so I wouldn't be charged on my next billing date.... Long story short I was still charged and they never allowed me to use or transfer my messages. WILL NOT EVER GO HERE. Go to a smaller boutique service is better and they care about customers. read more

Be cautious when signing up for their membership -- it feels like a scam. I was told I could still use my accumulated hours even after the membership expired, but that turned out to be false. They gave a convincing sales pitch, and unfortunately, I fell for it. Make sure to read the fine print carefully and don't rely solely on what the sales reps say. read more

I tagged alone with my Sister-in-Law. Oh! First we did the foot massage while waiting for our appointment time, and they placed a warm neck brace around you. Felt soothing. Fabiola was my therapist. Fabulous, heavenly hands working on my back on a relaxing massage and my legs which get really stiff. The massage lasted about half hour. Very pleasant, safe atmosphere. I found out that there are outlets all over the U.S., so I'll get one near where I live. read more

This place is trash, please save your money, the massage therapist Ivana Gave me the worse massage I have ever received, literally just rubbed oil on me. Did not massage my legs at all, and when I asked she said I was late and she had another appointment, which is a lie because I was her last appointment. I only gave a start for the front desk clerk that was courteous. Save your money read more

Loved loved my experience. came in for a firm massage, ended up getting a membership (I have a lot of muscle pain due to my physical job lifting) which Andrea helped me set up swiftly. Aylin, my therapist, was amazing. Great hands and expertise. You can tell them as much as you need to get the right level of care. Location is also very clean. Will be a regular here and very excited for my monthly massages! read more

I have been going to this location for about 2 years and I've been so happy with all my services. Management handles their customers well and their therapists Rosa and Andres are fantastic! Both therapists are very knowledgeable and listen to what you are in need of and work accordingly. read more

The entire staff at this location is AMAZING! Particularly Eduardo ! He's so knowledgeable and amazing!

The massages are always amazing Damaris always leaves me with a new back! Super relaxing :)

Andre is the best massage therapist I've ever had. I've been receiving massages from him for years and he's the only massage therapist in Florida for me. He is kind and very knowledgeable. The stretching he does as an option is fantastic and not to be missed. It's so worth it. He is also wonderful at many techniques, which help a lot depending on what state my body is in when receiving the massage. He definitely can tell what I need and by the time he's done, my aches and stress are gone. Thank you Andre! read more

I became a member of Massage Envy over 17 years ago when they first opened franchises in Miami. I originally began going to the Coral Gables location since it was closer to my house but after trying Yaqueline Acosta, a therapist at the Tamiami Location ( SW 8 Street and 142nd Ave) Coral Gables never saw me again! Yaqui is the best Masseuse I've ever had and the ONLY one that relieves and treats my back pain like a true professional. My husband and I travel frequently around the world and stay in what are categorized by American Express as Fine Hotels and Resorts. Most of them have a world renowned Spa in their facility and we always try to schedule massages during our stay. Every time we finish the massage we look at each other and say..."No one can beat Yaqueline" ! Believe me when I say she is the best! I personally enjoy deep tissue massages and I guess since Yaqui studied Sports Medicine, her knowledge and techniques are not easy to find. read more

Do not I respect DO NOT waste your time with this location! Horrible service, they think it's okay to cancel last minute on a massage & their response was "try finding another massage envy"... How am I going to find another massage envy with availability for the next day? They were unable to help any further...ridiculous! read more

The service in the front desk has declined in the last few months. I still love the therapist (Thai, Maria, and Cristina) they are all great. The manager or owner seems to be more concerned with cutting coast than customer service. The pendant lights are always off and the lights in the waiting area has been changed to florescent lighting. It doesn't feel like a spa anymore. It doesn't look relaxing and this lighting isn't good for my migraines. Funny thing is that they are booked solid, so they are making money! : / I remember before they use to offer tea or water while you waited. Sometimes they had cookies to offer. Personally, I don't want tea or cookies, but it's nice when the front desk people know your name, look happy to see you, and offer you something (even if you decline) while you are waiting. I hope they take the time to read these comments and make the appropriate changes because honestly, Groupon has some great deals in nice places, spa month is around the corner, and there are people that come to your home for less. Service is what we are all looking for,and service is what makes the difference. read more

Massage Envy - Fluorescent lighting isn't spa like or relaxing :( This place is always booked solid... They can afford the light bill. - Massage Near Me - Miami, Florida

I was fortunate enough to be gifted two gift cards for a complementary one hour massage, facial, or body stretch. l was finally able to get around to booking an appointment and I took my boyfriend with me. Over the phone, I was told by the front desk lady that EACH gift card held $145 on it. She explained to me that ONE of the gift cards could pay for both, me and my boyfriend, and I would just have to pay a difference of $5. It was $75 per person so me and my boyfriend would come out to $150. I was so happy to hear this, and quickly booked our appointments. After our massages finished and we were checking out, I gave one of my gift cards to the front desk lady. She said it only held $39 on it. I was, obviously, confused and gave her the second gift card to make sure it was just a mistake. She then proceeded to tell me that they BOTH held $39 on it. She said that BOTH gift cards could cover only ONE person. I was extremely upset that prior to our massages, we were told that we were both covered and just needed to pay a $5 difference, and that being only using ONE of the gift cards. But no, she took BOTH the gift cards that were supposed to be worth $290 total and counted it as $78 total. I had to pay $75 of the remaining balance which was extremely outrageous. Don't tell your customers one thing and say another thing next. It was extremely unprofessional and ruined my experience at Massage Envy. I almost signed up for a membership, but I declined it after this nonsense. And on top of that, my massage wasn't even an hour, it was 45 mins. My boyfriend's massage was 40 mins. I'm extremely disappointed with how things were handled here. read more

The atmosphere of Massage Envy is calming and relaxing. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly! They made me feel very accommodated and comfortable right away. The massage was worth every dollar. The hour felt like 3-4 hours with a deep massage that left me feeling like I was in complete bliss for several days afterwards. I have had massages at other places in the past where the masseuse was stand-offish and didn't really care if I felt good during the massage. Not here at Massage Envy! The masseuse was very skilled, professional, and polite. She checked in with me throughout the experience to make sure that I was ok. Overall, I felt very valued as a customer and I enjoyed my experience. I hope to go back in the very near future! read more

I have been going here for years and the location is very clean and professional. I recommend this Massage Envy wholeheartedly.!

In the last 9 months I've never had such a wonderful prenatal massage before! Julie is AMAZING! She REALLY knows what she's doing! personally like firm to deep pressure and Julie knows just where to do it :) I've had pack aches during the entire pregnancy and she did a great job massaging that area! This massage Envy is the best in Miami! They have a lot of experience therapists who know how to massage! I also recommend Samira & Thais! Definitely worth the membership price! :) I will definitely be back next month for my monthly massage =) read more

There is obviously a lack of communication at this office. I booked an appointment online with my card information and confirmation online. I show up for my appointment (early) and the receptionist happens to tell me that my appointment was taken with no valid excuse other than "that's why I don't like the online portal". As a business owner, it is your responsibility to double check online confirmations daily, if your going provide that service/System to your clients. Also, he couldn't provide me anything for the inconvenience because "everything else was taken". Let's just say, with my intentions of buying a membership their, they just lost a lifelong client because if they can't simply organize there scheduling, I can only imagine what the future will hold. read more

I've never had a bad experience with any masseuse, on the contrary, I have always left satisfied. My issues is with the location and management. The walls are paper thin, I absolutely detest getting services done near the restrooms as you can hear people coming in and out. Worst one is getting room near what seems to be the back office or break room. It makes it very difficult to relax when people are talking, opening/closing doors, etc. Worst experience of all was when the bed head support had a glitch which ended in me getting a broken lip. The manager at the time (last year---blond lady) slightly apologized and moved on. Seriously? the masseuse was far more apologetic than the manager was. Unbelievable. There was so empathy, no refund, no nothing. I've been in the industry for years, I couldn't believe the lack of response. That manager was (I say was because I haven't seen her in a while) the worst. Always had an "I don't feel like being here" face. I am glad I don't bump into her anymore, she always kind of ruined it for me, specially after the broken lip incident. For anyone looking to get a quick massage, this is an ok place. If you are looking for relaxation---this is a no go. I've tried the location in kendall, same thing. read more

5 stars for the massage, 3 stars for the location and ambiance = 4 stars I checked out this place because I bought a Groupon for a $39 massage. Sounded like a good deal for a 1 1/2 hour massage. We arrived a bit early, filled out the necessary form, and waited for our massage therapists. I was concerned that there would be a lot of fragrance going on in the massage because of all the apple, vanilla, and cinnamon scents I was greeted with in the waiting area. I was happily surprised when the massage room was neutral - on the eyes and the nose. There was classical music playing at the right level to block any outside noise. The massage therapist I had, Julie, was amazing! She worked on a lot of tight spots I have from running or sitting at my desk, and was very nice. A definite 5 stars for Julie! I would consider coming back on a regular basis except that it's really out of the way for me. It's about 40 minutes from my house. Plus, massages can get quite pricey. They have a "membership" program where you pay $59 a month and get one massage or facial a month. Might be a good deal if I lived close enough to go more often. I also think they could work on the overall ambiance, which I thought was mediocre and felt like waiting in a doctor's office. But really with massage therapists that good it doesn't matter. read more

I went last week and had a great time. For my first visit, it was only $39 for a massage, and I couldn't have been happier. Great service, great masseuse, and everything was very hassle free, which I definitely appreciated. I've heard about Massage Envy, and even with a poor review, I decided to give it a try. Bad timing, Lex Y., that the power had gone out, but you can't really fault them for that, right? Sounds like they made at least a concerted effort to deliver. Either way, I was not only pleased with my massage, but told a couple of friends about it as well. Hopefully they check this place out. I am not just a 5-star guy, but I am certainly an optimist as well as a realist, and this place totally delivered. No attitude and nothing pretentious, just straight up massage....envy. Awesome deal, and I'd be a punk if I didn't let people know that mine was a very above average experience. One of these days a place is not going to get a 5-star review. Until that day, Yelp has not let me down! Hope this helps, and I hope y'all get to enjoy some time here. read more

Love Viví my message therapist. I come here on a monthly basis because she's so great!

Courteous staff, always on time. Clean facilities. Enith is a great masseuse. I come here monthly and have never felt better! :)

I have been a member of massage envy for 3 years. I recently had surgery done and was okayed by my doctor to have a massage, as long as I did not lay on my stomach. I explained my situation over the phone before making an appt. They said I could do a prenatal massage. I agreed to it. Cleared my Saturday schedule to get the massage and then a facial. The massage therapist refused to give me the massage, said I needed a doctors note. The misinformation is alarming. What was worse, was the complete disregard by the General Manager Paula Villamil had for my time. She said I cannot make my therapist do anything, understandable. She also said it's not like we are going to charge you for the session. I'm not quite sure what this woman is doing working with the public or in this type of establishment, where you go to seek wellness and relaxation. I wish she would have been as eager to help with this issue, as she was trying to upsell me on extras for my massage or facial, Which I had already turned down from a front desk associate in front of Paula Villamil, general manager. I told her I was considering cancelling my membership. Rather than giving me time to myself to consider. She hounded me, asking if I wanted the form to cancel. I had to tell her to please give me a moment. Then, she asked a front desk associate, if I had filled out the form. Once the associate answered yes, her response was "awesome!". I am also aware of two other people who have cancelled or frozen their account bc of the poor management at this location. Massage envy lost my business today bc of Paula Villamil. read more

I completely hated my experience here. It was my first time ever getting a massage from a "professional" establishment. It was given to me as a birthday gift, which now in retrospect is possibly the worst gift I've received. Instead of telling me what to expect or what to do, everyone made some sort of comment like "really?! This is your first time?"..... YES, it is my first time, I don't have the luxury to have a massage every month, sorry that I don't fit into your standards. Upon getting my massage therapist, 1) there was obviously a language barrier that made it difficult to communicate 2) it was uncomfortable because I thought my therapist upon booking was a girl, correction it was a guy. And he was equally uncomfortable 3) I have NEVER done this before so I had little to no instructions on what to do before, during, or after the massage. I was a complete fish out of water. At the checkout I wanted to just pay and leave but of course I caught it at the busiest time of the day and had to awkwardly wait while the receptionist finished with other debacles. When I was finically checking out, they pretty much harassed me to join their stupid membership which I'm the long run is SUPPOSED to save me money which I'm fact doesn't! Because it binds you legally for a year to pay for their mediocre services and you cannot cancel it, which was not told to me until the first payment was taken out of bank and I call to attempt to cancel the membership..... Long story short, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAMMING COMPANY. Say no, pay, and walk away and never turn back. WORST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER. I hope this company burns to ground or closes in the next month so I don't have to keep paying for a service I have no interest in using ever again. P.S. after this "relaxing" massage, I couldn't move for a week from the soreness. #overit #yourenotgonnawalkforaweek #GARABAGE read more

Bought an expired product, PCA Sheer tint sunscreen. Shame on me I should have examined product closer. Asked the receptionist which was the newest product and she recommended the expired of course. Unfortunately, had to drive 1 hour to and from for an exchange and almost left with the wrong product even though I had called ahead for exchange, smh. Was told the manger would contact me next day for inconvenience. 3 days later manager contacted to let me know they wanted me to come back to pay for a facial with a FREE high frequency upgrade. WOOOOW, Thanks for inviting me back to spend money instead of accommodating me for selling me expired products. This is why I cancelled my membership years ago with massage envy. I very happy with Elements massage. read more

I have been going to this location for years!!! The front desk is always very nice and acknowledges you right when you come in. My therapist is Ivette. I can't put into words how blessed my wife and I are that we found her. She is unbelievable! A great person that is very professional and experienced! I have received massages my entire life and hands down the best masseuse I have ever encountered. She cares about how you are feeling and is eager to get to work on those areas you need to feel relief. She is the very best at making sure the pressure is right for you. She has helped reduce the pain in my neck and back tremendously. She also does fantastic stretches that help me with my elasticity, or lack thereof lol. If you are looking to get a massage, I guarantee you that you don't need to look any further...call the location and book a massage with her!! She is so great that you have to book in advanced because everyone wants to book with her. You will not regret it!! She absolutely loves what she does and it shows tremendously. read more
