Drinks here are hotter than at other places, and they're sometimes inconsistent. But they are always nice, and have good beer.

I love the sweet crepes, but find the savory crepes are a bit disappointing. Brie and jam is my favorite by far, great contrast of flavors. The batter used for the savory crepes lacks flavor, and there is too much crepe and not enough filling. Coffee is always very good. read more

My family's favorite breakfast place! The food is great and the coffee is delicious! My son loves the Nutella crepe and loves looking at the random art on the walls. I'm always craving the French club crepe from Mon Ami. I think anything here is better than a greasy 2,000 cal breakfast platter. Most crepes come with a salad (I thought salad for breakfast was weird but it's amazing). Not the biggest fan of the buckwheat crepes but you can order any of them to be made with regular white batter. They also serve stumptown coffee and have nice art on the walls. read more

Right before I got to this place, I had said "wow we have yet to have bad service or bad food since we arrived!" Then this was our last stop.... first, I asked if they had strawberries, the cashier said no, so I said, "Ok, can I please have Nutella and raspberries?" She said yes. $8 down the drain later, the crepe comes out and looks really flat. So I go to the cashier and ask if they put the raspberries in? She says that they don't have raspberries, just raspberry jam. I said that I was sorry but I didn't ask for jam and that I did not want it. She looked at me blankly. I told her I didn't want jam and she said that's what they use. I didn't touch the crepe, I left it on the table, and this place didn't have the decency to even ask if I wanted a different kind for free or something. I had asked for strawberries then raspberries, so you'd think they'd say something or at least apologize. Horrible experience. read more

We came here for a more "non-traditional" brunch option when in the area, and I must say, we left happy. Great coffees, huge hot chocolates for the kids, and a combination of sweet and savory crepes on the menu. We ordered two sweet (the kids picked) and two savory (the man and I chose), and I must say, they were all awesome! Seating is limited, so be prepared to wait a bit on Sunday morning, but it was well worth it! We will be back the next time we are in the area. read more

We passed this shop on Saturday, while doing Laura Foster's city walk of the area. We were cold and just a little hungry. We had our dog with us, so had to sit outside, but the terrific coffee drinks were delicious and warming. They made us a wonderful lemon crepe and had no problem bringing everything outside for us. The place is small but cozy and in an awesome little community. Everyone here is super nice and very accommodating ... They want you to leave happy and caffeinated! They keep their food prep and work station clean and are fast and efficient given the amount of traffic running through there on a regular basis. If you are looking for a quaint place to enjoy some crepes in downtown Vancouver, you will likely enjoy this little cafe. I have been here a couple of times at different points in the day. I prefer going after 1:30 PM because there isn't much of a crowd and you can easily get a table at that hour. Of the savory crepes I have tried Ham, Pear & Brie and the Vegetarian, both of which were good. Of the sweet crepes I have tried the Nutella & Banana (hard to go wrong with a classic) and the Nutella, Raspberry & Bacon. Adventuresome eaters would probably find the mix of flavors to be rather interesting. However, make sure to eat it while it is still hot. A friend and I ordered this and nibbled on it as we talked. Unfortunately the crepe got cold and the oil from the bacon ruined the flavor. read more

Love love love! The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the location. It's all good! They even help me with the door and child seat when I bring my baby in. They're also happy to mash up fruit so he can eat too. This place is a gem. Anyone looking for a delicious breakfast, you've got to try this place. Would have 5 stars if they didn't trick customers with a phony close time!! :) They shut the grill off 30 minutes before they actually close, which is super disappointing. Yummy! I got the Ham, Swiss, and Tomato crepe, and a Ham, Pear, and Brie crepe. My mouth keeps expecting sweet when I have a crepe, but that is just years of conditioning. These savory crepes were quite good, and one was plenty for a light lunch meal. They both came with a sprinkling of salad greens. The atmosphere of the place was relaxed and friendly, and the two ladies on staff were pleasant. It would be a nice place to spend an hour with someone, or using the wi-fi. This is a great place to come hang out or do work or homework. The crapes are not bad and the coffee is really good. The only thing i can complain about is that about half the time the coffee is amazing, and the other half its 'not bad'. Mon Ami's a quaint little cafe in downtown Vancouver. I've been a few times, and each time I had a chai latte with the ham, pear, and brie crepe (I'm a creature of habit...plus the combo is superb!).
