This place was a joke. Came in asking for 4 simple angled brackets (~2"x2" ea) stainless. Was told they needed drawings, so I gave them take-offs of exact dimensions. I told them the drawings were accurate and any measurements they pulled from them would be completely accurate. Spent the next 2 weeks having to call and ask what the status was, only for them to say they needed more info. I basically had to hold their hand the entire time and measure everything. I even offered to leave a sample bracket which they declined.... In the end, I got an est for $400+ DOLLARS. The comparative big-box bracket were $6. I sure hope other people using these guys get what they pay for because they won't be getting any of my money. Terrible business. read more

You do not have to have a large construction project to visit this store! I was trying to create a large (3' x 5') board for all the magnets I've picked up on my travels, without paying an obscene price for something half the size. I heard about this store from a DIY site based in Utah. Hurray, there is one right next door! The customer service was awesome - extremely friendly and patient staff, sweet dogs greet you at the door, very reasonable prices, and they will have my job done sooner than I would have expected. The space is clean and well kept, well worth visiting if you have a home DIY project and need some sheet metal :) read more

Bring your own hand washing supplies when you pick up your pieces of metal. The salesperson brought my order out set II on the ground next to my car, I had my trunk open for him to load it up, but no. The pieces are covered in grease. I had to call them so they could bring me some paper towels. Very poor customer service. Have a hand washing stay set outside if you are not going to load up the items. read more

Mark, Allison and Jason, From the first phone call talking to Jason, to getting directions on how to find the shop from Allison, to finally dealing with Mark to find a solution to my project, everyone was extremely helpful, polite, professional and made me feel like a valued customer. I know very little about sheet metal and at no time did I feel like a dummy when talking to all of you. You all understood what I was trying to do and made me feel at ease while taking charge of understanding and helping me. Absolutely wonderful customer service. I had a very specific need in order to finish the custom exhaust work on my auto-restoration project. I needed a single tube of 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust pipe. This was by no means a large purchase for a shop like Metal Supermarkets. Despite being a smaller customer they still offered to keep their doors open long enough for me to get to their location so that I could make my purchase and finish my project.
