Hard to beat the RSSRR for the price…read more After a long day of travel, my daughter and I stayed here on a Sunday night. The place was super quiet (not many guests). Overall, it was a fine experience. Good parking availability, easy access from Hwy 15, nice outdoor pool / hot tub area, clean in the lobby and hallways. Our rooms were nice. Beds / pillows on the firm side (but we requested - and received - softer pillows). AC and all other appliances / outlets worked just fine. The doors do slam a bit on the loud side, but the hotel is no noisier than any other hotel. Friendly staff, clean place. Would stay here again.

I keep coming back because all things considered, it's a great value and I really appreciate that every room is non-smoking. I've stayed at all of the casino hotels in the area and even in a non-smoking room, I can still smell the smoke. Both my son and myself have asthma so we try to avoid triggers like the smell of smoke as much as we can! Things to note when you stay here: Free laundry room! (You need to provide your own detergent/dryer sheets) Two large pools and a large jacuzzi open until 10pm which is a huge plus! Free wifi Free Gym Attached restaurant (however currently reservations are required). Walking distance to virgin river and eureka casinos. Nice hilltop location with beautiful views! This time, I decided to stay at Mesquite, NV which is about 40 miles south of St. George or about 80 miles north of Las Vegas. Hotwire led me here as I like surprise:XD Upon walking in the lobby, my first impression was...is this the retirement home!? the interior has that old fashioned style, wide hallway with tiles instead carpet on the first floor, a library...etc I got suite #210, which is exactly like a one bedroom apartment with full sized kitchen, dining table, living room, bed room, walking in closet and a full sized bath. It's spacious! I assume this property was designed for assistant living and later changed to a hotel. It's freaking hot in Mesquite, NV even after the sun goes down. The air was still hot like inside the oven. The ac worked really well and of course this place is very quiet. The next morning, after checking out, I was on the way heading home. While pulling onto the 15 freeway I all the sudden remembered I left my charging cable in the room! Drove back from the next freeway exit, I told the front desk lady and she immediately made me a key to go up to the room to retrieve my cable. When I got there, the housekeeper was already outside and handed me my cable. If you are not looking for anything fancy, modern and elaborate, this is a good place! For clean, classic and awesome rate, I can see myself coming back for another good night sleep:) P.s there's no charging port on the bedside table, I had to unplug the alarm clock and that's how I forgot my cable :XD

I know nothing about Mesquite, but my best friend's grandparents live here. I'm going to be completely honest and straightforward here, I liked Eureka MUCH better than Casablanca, where we stopped at heading towards Utah. Compared to Casablanca, Eureka looks a lot newer and they have a lot more options and stuff to do. I had read after our trip that Eureka had gone under renovations about two years ago and they plan to build more retail stuff around it in the future. They have endless slot machines inside and they have a pretty big sportsbook, although I've seen bigger before. I did consider playing one of the slot machines since I had cash on me, but I didn't go for it. Being a Vegas local that has been inside so many casinos, I don't gamble or play slot machines all that much. Going forward, if we ever take another road trip to Utah, Eureka will be our permanent stop.

We headed over on a Saturday night around 9pm. The casino was hopping with lots of people hanging out inside gambling. I did find two of my favorite machines & had to hit them up. One was Lobstermania & I got to play for awhile on it but didn't walk away with any money. The machine was buy some doors into the casino & we got hit with a cold breeze every time the door was opened. We then ventured to the center bar for some drinks & to play video poker & keno. Bartenders were nice. Next I hit up another favorite game of mine, a devil game. Then I hit up the Black Jack table for some fun, it was hot for awhile then it wasn't. Then we hit up the electronic craps game because the craps table was full. I'm new to craps but my friend knows how to play it so he was helping me. We spent a lot of time there & the cocktail waitresses were very attentive. The ladies bathroom wall tile is very pretty. The casino was clean, didn't stink of cigarette smoke & looked new. Very nice casino & I can't wait to go back!

HIRE ANYONE OTHER THAN THIS COMPANY. They promised the moon and under delivered in almost every way. The general lack of effort, pride, attention to detail would be comical if it didn't cost me money. They do the BARE MINIMUM and charge 22.5% of revenue. They do lump all taxes and fees in that fee but they do not communicate or explain what is being charged when and why. The documents they send monthly must have been created by a child because they're virtually impossible to make sense of and when you do, if you're like me, you'll need to pull the numbers out and enter them in your own spreadsheet. If you have an issue (poor cleaning, which is a constant I've learned, landscaping that needs tending to, etc.) and you bring it up to them they will act as though they are surprised or that they'll get it taken care of and assure you that they will make it right. However, I cannot state this plainly enough, they will NOT address the issue. They WILL NOT make it right. The pool area of my home looks like a tornado ripped through town every time we've come down to stay and they are aware when we book time for ourselves as this must be done through the website they had made in the 1990s. You'd think they'd want to make sure the place was looking good when their clients visit, but no. They clearly just do not care enough to do anything about it. (Yes it gets windy here but not so much so that it would result in the mess that's always waiting for the next guests.) On top of that remotes will go missing. Garage door openers vanish. Among other stuff. They just expect you to buy replacements with no accountability on their end. Things do wear out so I asked them to let me know when something breaks or wears out and needs to be replaced, like patio umbrellas or patio furniture pillows which all take a beating in the summer sun. They assured me they would, they didn't. Last time we came down two of the three umbrellas were broken and tossed on the side of the house where they apparently like to throw anything they don't want to address or know what to do with. Apparently the junk yard if full. It's a joke how little they care. Bottom line. Hire anyone other than this company. They are terrible.

There was quite a headwind causing overconsumption of gas and we needed a place to fill up. When we landed, there was not a human in sight. We looked around the premises, desperately hoping to see a vending machine or anywhere we could purchase a chilled beverage. We foolishly hadn't brought liquids on our flight due to having small bladders and no restroom on the plane. We did have wide mouth bottles on-hand in case of an emergency, but there was concern that stage freight might make use of those quite challenging. After searching around for several minutes, we discovered a Pilot's Lounge, to our great delight. Inside was an air conditioned room with a sofa and clean bathrooms. It also had chilled beverages and and some savory snacks. It was all available based on the honor system, so we put some dollar bills in the box and also sent a small Venmo to the proprietor. We were able to rest from our labors whilst eating some chips and drinking some chilled diet beverages. I would like to offer one opportunity for improvement. The only snacks were chips, which were quite unhealthy. Perhaps some protein bars or granola bars might be a nice option in the future. A pack of string cheese would also be nice.
