As a previous fifth wheel family of two years, we never really explored anything over $65, but in all honesty, for the price you pay to stay at WillowWind Rv Park, you'll be immensely happy. Whoever designed this place was good at their job. Beautifully paved roads, great spaces in-between neighbors, super clean facilities, and extremely kind staff. I wish we could have spent more than the two days here. We will definitely be back! Pros: handicap friendly bathrooms and walkways, fire pits with chairs, sprayed for scorpions, family friendly, fun, clean

Our RV club comes to Hurricane UT each year in April or May & this is where we stay. A clean park with large mature trees, grassy areas & pet friendly it's only a 30 (or so) minute drive to beautiful Zion & close to stores & restaurants. It does have some pull through RV drives, but most are back in. Once you complete the quick check in procedures, you follow a guide to your spot & they help you back in, show you the hook-ups & point out showers, dumpsters & so on. We had trouble with the cable & asked for assistance. We've been here several times & never had any problems. It seems they have upgraded to a digital version. We found out our five year old TV doesn't work with the newer cable. They no longer have picnic tables at the sites & I do wish they did. They do come in handy. Nor, do they have individual fire pits, but they do have a large communal gas fire pit by the restrooms. They also have a pet washing station near the restrooms. That might come in handy, but it looked pretty cold to me. Located in the park is a large 2-story clubhouse with a kitchen, dining area, pool table & electric piano. Our group did use the dining area & appreciate being able to get together. I believe they could've gotten members of our group closer together. We made reservations months ago & were scattered all over the place. All in all, I'm sure we'll return next year.

Fantastic RV park. Lots of shade trees in this desert heat! Very clean and friendly staff.

My dog enjoyed the cool water in the dog wash on this hot day.

This is one of the nicest RV parks I've ever stayed in, and I've traveled in my RV across 49 states and most of Canada. The park is in a hot place - but almost all sites are generously shaded with trees. The park is super clean, even though most of the people here seem to be full-time residents. (Many parks with full-timers are trashy.) the facilities are modern and well-kept. Just a short walk to shopping. Quiet. Close to the freeway. Pets accepted. Reasonable rates. I give it five stars.

The electric pedestal is way too far away! The sewage and drinking water are way too close for my comfort.

In the 2 years we've been traveling, this is our first time coming across a camp site that has the water so close to the sewage... also, the electric panel is like, 50 ft away from the pad. Is that normal? Has CA spoiled us? And no, it is NOT the neighbor's pedestal. It is the right one designated for this site. -- at WillowWind RV Park.

Wonderful/ beautiful shaded area with lovely humans running the place. Everyone was so kind and helpful to us, as we had just purchased our first RV and taking it out for the first time! A wonderful man name Rodger went above and beyond making us feel welcomed and at home as if we have all known one another for years. Bathrooms and showers were the cleanest I've seen at a camp area ever( been in a tent for 12 years so the bathroom matters to me lol) In the evening we visited a near by pond known as Grandpa's pond and did some late night cat fishing. Our test run trip ended up being a wonderful, peaceful evening! Thank you!!!!!

After being assaulted and called a nigger/nigga 5-7 times. The park evicted me the next morning. Will not be returning!

Friendly office staff! Great park facilities. Location was great. Just had a few problems with an employees son. So I was evicted after being assaulted and called a nigger/nigger. Will not be returning.

Stayed here Mar/April of 2021 and loved this park! Property is immaculate, lots of trees, the people are incredibly friendly, it's like a little community. So convenient to all necessities, easy drive to a huge variety of hiking trails and off-road trails, close proximity to Zion National Park. Will definitely be back!

We arrived late in the afternoon and faced west but the trees provided wonderful shade for our set up.

This campground is only a few years old, and it's nice and clean, but there isn't much shade…read more Check in was confusing at first since you think you are pulling up to a little hut but there is no one there? So we kept driving to the round about and I walked into the rangers station. I easily found the campers check in line and I then it was easy breezy. We were given a map, instructions, a bracelet to access the water areas, etc. The store offers plenty of fun souvenirs, albeit pricey. I was slightly displeased with the options as far as food/camping goods go. There were snacks, a few lunchables, some drinks, the frazzle drinks etc. as well as some medical goods, like aspirin, bandages etc. But it didn't really have the necessary goods we really needed that ended up with a quick run to Walmart... but thankfully Walmart wasn't far. Our campsite was clean, and supplied the necessary utilities we needed, as well as a fire pit, picnic table and one tiny tree. I wish the sites were flat rather than the black rocks. We had a great view of the lagoon and nightly sunsets. But felt like the rocks made it extra hot on our site. Of course the kids loved the mining, and playground. My daughter did the Build a Bear at the kids rec center, but we never saw the Bears that were supposed to be at these events. But maybe because it was 105 degrees?! The main attraction is both the water park & lagoon. Both each equally just as exciting and unique. The water park isn't huge by any means. It had 4 watersides. 3 different types. One nicknamed the toilet bowl by our group. You can slide down on a tube single or as a double and it's a lot of fun spinning around the bowl before shooting out. There was also another slide that did some turns and two slides that shot straight down. There were two pools, two jacuzzis, a splash pad and my favorite... the lazy river! The waters were very warm in all the pools. There is very little shade at the water park, besides a few canopies, a few covered tables and there were reservable cabanas that were a bit pricey. The lagoon water was warm on the outskirts, but cooler the further in you go. It's a sloped and sandy beach with chairs, a few palm trees that also don't offer much shade and a small canopy. Life jackets are a must for everyone including adults if you go in above your knees, and those kids working are very strict! Also, no pushing and shoving off the inflatable play center. That's the biggest attraction to the lagoon. A huge obstacle course in the middle of the lagoon. Hours for the water park/lagoon are a bit disappointing as they don't open till 11am and close by 7pm. It's so hot in the summer in St George they really could stand to stay open longer. The cooler fee is $15 per day and no outside food or alcohol is allowed, and yes they do inspect! You can go use one pool and a jacuzzi at 7:30p for campers with a special keypad code. One downside to this park, is it's next to a sewer treatment facility to the west and one day it smelled bad as the temperature rose. There's also a lot of construction happening outside the park near the lagoon, so there was dust and tractor noise. We stayed 4 nights. I think 3 is plenty in the awful summer heat. I think once the trees can offer more shade it'll get better. But overall the heat and no shade wiped us out. Also, to note: no early check-in or late checkouts during summer. You'll be turned away, or priced for an extra night.
