This spot was awesome for the purpose of our visit to Hurricane. The RV Park was so neat and clean. The check in process was extremely easy and the staff super friendly. Dick and Dough helped us feel right at home. We were only a 5 minutes drive from the Hurricane baseball fields. We had full hook ups and the water pressure was great. The grocery store across the street was a huge plus. Everything was within walking distance as far as food and drinks. This is in the heart of the city. I'd definitely recommend this place if you wants something located where there's more civilization. They offer laundry room and a cute club house to use. Thank you again Dick for the recommendation to Lava Point. We will come back and stay here again. So much to explore and do. Site 66 worked great for us and more private backing up into a block wall. read more

What a beautiful RV park. This was our first time motor homing and everyone was super helpful and nice. Even needed help due to a flat tire and the office and maintenance team assisted with leveling the motorhome until we could get the tire replaced. Can't say thank you enough. read more

One of the nicest RV places around. Almost every site is covered in trees and has a large grass area in front. Sites are clean and well maintained. Due to covid we didn't venture into the restrooms or common areas, but if the insides are as well maintained as the outsides they are great. They had a quick, non-contact check-in with an escort to your site and help backing in if you needed it. They even loaned me a coax cable long enough to get my TV hooked up (I had a 10' and it was about 15 from the outlet). Very friendly and helpful. About 1/2 of the workers were wearing masks, but from what we saw of Utah that is above average. Lots of 'pick-up' stations for your pets and a long dog walk area in the back. read more

What a beautiful park. Our family including 3 rigs was on a roadtrip and one of our stops was Zion National Park. The people were so friendly and continuously made sure that we had everything we needed. The grounds and facilities were immaculate and they had plenty of trees. The only downfall was that there were no picnic tables which would have been very helpful. Located close to Zion National Park which was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again. read more

I've been living here for 3 months and I feel like I'm with family. This park has really nice large bathrooms, excellent laundry rooms (2 of each) a large A frame log house with free coffee every morning and super nice staff. I believe there are 188 units but it's always quiet. Outdoor gas fire pits are pleasant and appreciated. Grounds are littered with mature trees and well maintained by staff. Water tastes great, no issues with power, free cable and WiFi is strong and free. Wonderful place! Must book in advance for high season. read more

We're staying here at WillowWind RV Park and it's just beautiful . The trees at each site are so pretty and it keeps it so cool . The grounds are beautiful . The entire staff couldn't be nicer . Great RV park for a long stay or overnight. Super clean and shady. Make sure to ask for a shady spot during the hot months. There are several spots with no trees. Lots of high end rigs here, cement slabs with grass and large trees on each spot. No picnic tables or fire pits but we have our own table so that doesn't bother me. Top notch laundry room and clubhouse. Office staff wasn't overly welcoming on the phone or in person but the gentleman who escorted us to our spot was friendly. Only complaint is the ladies in the office could use improvement to be welcoming and friendly instead of put off. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID at all costs. If i could give no stars, I would. The people working here have zero concept of good customer service. We reserved a month and paid IN FULL in advance well over 2 months ago. Today we tried to simply rearrange our plans due to the Bryan head fires and smoky conditions in the area. The woman (Barbara I think) became very defensive and said if "you don't want it, we can give it someone else". I said I needed to find another place to go first and would let them know. She said if she didn't hear back from me by the next morning she would "give my site away." That's when I pointed out that we had PAID for the site and that was not her decision to make. She started yelling at me about how they have lots of other people who want the space and that it was their right to be able to give it away. Again, I said it was ALREADY RENTED by US and she couldn't give it away until I gave her the authority to do that. She wasn't even listening to me, just yelling over me. At this point I was livid with her horrible customer service and her bullying me to give up the site. When I said I couldn't believe how awful she was being to a customer, she HUNG UP ON ME. (If you read other reviews, you'll see this is standard behavior, it seems) My husband called back to clarify that we wanted to make sure they were not going to give up our site without our authority, as we still needed to first even find another place to go and with the 4th of July holiday, we wanted to make sure we had something secured. We would have been happy to work with them to find another date after the fires had cleared. Instead they told my husband they would give us a full refund. When he agreed and they issued the refund they "informed" us that we are NOW BANNED from ever going there again, because they ban anyone who they give a refund to. THEY WERE THE ONES WHO OFFERED THE REFUND. We were just trying to re-arrange our dates. But after their horrible service, this isn't a problem, at least not as long as they treat their customers like this. read more

Nice spaces. Back-in sites have nice grassy area, pull-thru's have rock. Sites are wide and shady. Didn't even need our awning. Nice bath houses but only 2 showers. Very clean. Wish they had a pool or playground for kids. read more

Holy cow - worst experience I've ever had with an RV park and all I was trying to do was book a reservation! The lady who answered the phone (she didn't provide her name but said she wasn't the owner) hung up on my when I questioned the extra $40/night in surcharges for y children - my comment to her was that $90/night for a paring spot seemed high to me. I was totally surprised when she hung up on me and then never answered the phone again. Stay away from this place! read more

This is a wonderful park!! Enjoyed everything and especially Doug!! You've got a great employee working with your park. With all this Covid crap going on IT'S was nice to talk to someone face to face. He's a really super nice guy and this park is lucky to have him around. I didn't care for the front office giving service thru a window every time you needed to talk to someone. This is a beautiful park, however I wish the spaces were a little further apart from each other, I felt like my neighbor was on top of me. Very clean park, located close to shopping and dining. Not a fan pf the arbitrary restrictions on certain dog breeds. Sad to see people generalize against these breeds. The office closes daily at 5pm, which can be early if you are traveling, but our welcome packet and site were available. We would consider a return trip. read more

Horrible experience with corporate who would not adjust our transaction. They charge for additional people over 2. When we explained that we were no longer traveling with the additional guests they refused to credit us. They aren't interested in serving their customers just in the money. read more

We made our reservation by phone before we biked in from Zion. The rv park was an oasis from the heat and sun. We tent camped on the grassy lawn. There were picnic tables for tent campers which was nice. The rv park was clean and quiet with lots of amenities. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Due to Covid we had to make last minute changes to our 4th of July plans. Decided to try visiting Zion. Called around and of course most places were already full but Cheryl was patient enough to work things out and get us a spot for our trailer from 7/2-7/6. Got there on Thursday and everything was ready. Each spot is a concrete pad. Most have some grass and trees to provide shade. Well kept up place. Truck battery died early morning of the 4th and AAA was running very slow. Maintenance Supervisor Roger went out of his way to help us on his day off, helping me get a new battery and putting it in the truck for us. That is what I call fantastic customer service! Only thing missing is the swimming pool but we would definitely return next time we head that way. read more

Excellent, quiet, rv park about 30 minutes from Zion National Park. Very clean and well maintained, has a spotless laundry and a wonderful dog washing location. The office itself is very nice with tasteful meeting areas and a very helpful staff. Concrete sites are long enough for class As and toads, with treed, grass pads between. No playground, picnic benches or individual fire pits but outside areas in which larger groups (or anyone) can gather around gas fire pits to eat or converse. Very good grocery store around the corner which carries fresh squeezed orange juice and good vegetables. Walgreens across the street. read more

This RV park is located in Hurricane, Utah, about a block off the main road.  Making a reservation was easy - I called and they picked right up and quickly booked the reservation.  Check in was efficient and quick.  But then Willow Wind definitely surprised and delighted us as they dispatch Doug, an employee to drive us to our site, help us back in and hook up and make sure we have all the information that we need.  This was a fantastic service!.  And it didn't end there - we saw Doug throughout our stay at the park and he stopped by periodically to make sure everything was going well and was there anything we needed. The sites are all concrete and wonderfully level.  All the hookups were in good working order.  The sites are very long and separated by a comfortably wide grass strip.  And the TREES and the shade was wonderful.  We arrived late in the afternoon and faced west but the trees provided wonderful shade for our set up.  The internet worked - although at times was a little slow. The bathrooms and showers were gorgeous and spotless and air conditioned.  The laundry rooms were also clean and machines working well.  The park also felt very safe and secure.  The location was a great base camp for our trips to Zion and Bryce National Parks.  The town of Hurricane is not really a tourist town but had some good restaurants and the convenience of grocery, dry stores and gas was great.  This is a great campground! We used this as a base to visit Zion and Bryce National Parks - don't miss them - especially at sunset and sunrise!  We enjoyed food at Main Street Cafe and River Rock Roasting Company read more

We stayed in WillowWind RV Park on May 18th and 19th, 2020. Upon arrival we were excited at how well maintained the park was. Check-in was another story. Another unwelcoming attendant who was not wearing a mask. We were informed their restrooms were closed because of COVID-19 yet their public laundry was open while groups used the facilities and non of their staff ever wore masks. There was no special sanitizing or special care. We were forced to use the MacDonalds restrooms a few blocks away. The lawns were beautiful but their Nazi like grounds employees would not let anyone set-foot upon them. Ultimately, you got a single driveway to park. Our neighbors and their dogs were attacked by other visitors dogs. The internet service was a plus, although it took about 20 hours to finally be able to connect. read more

We stayed for our first time. The park is very green and lots of shade in our spot. It was relaxing and quiet. The ladies working the day we arrived were so helpful and nice to us. We enjoyed our stay and are planning on returning. Zion is a short drive away and we checked out the other parks around there and this by far looked the best!! read more

We turned into this park and were completely surprised at how extremely nice it appeared! The photos do not do justice. Every inch of this RV Park was kept incredibly clean; streets, bathrooms, sites, laundry, etc. When we return to Zion and/or travel through the area, we will stay here. read more

This review is for TENT campers. My husband and I stayed at WillowWind two weeks ago and loved it. I highly recommend that you request a tent spot that is near the BACK of the campground (they have tent spots at the entrance as well). Our spot was very spacious, and we had plenty of space in between our spot and our neighbors. It was warm, but the trees provided plenty of shade. (The tent spots near the front looked fine, but the tents were very close together, and they could probably hear some highway noise at night. I saw a few negative reviews from tenters, and I assume they were in one of those spots). The restrooms were very clean (the best we saw during our 10 days trip across Southern Utah). A majority of the spots are for RVs, and it seemed like nobody used the restrooms and showers. We passed several other RV resorts in the area, and their conditions looked less-than-desirable. We will look forward to staying at WillowWind again in the future! It took about 30 minutes for us to drive to Zion, but the entire drive was gorgeous! Only con- there were cockroaches at night. But bugs are to be expected when camping, so just keep your tent zipped up at night. :) read more

Truely an 'oasis in the desert'. We stayed 3 nights in our 30ft trailer, and our parents stayed in the site right next to ours (in their motorhome). Great place (I can't say it enough). Lush green-shady, cement pads about 65-70ft pull through. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites, streets, restrooms, everything was clean, tidy, and in working order. One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in. Large level paved pads. Grassy areas, tree shaded. And QUIET! Even though it is close to the main street it is very quiet. Nights are silent. Staff is excellant, friendly. We moved here from the KOA after leaving the KOA early. This park is well maintained and manicured. read more

We had an awesome experience at this beautiful little RV park. Quiet, well kept and affordable. Central to everything you need. Park staff is very helpful. We were away and the wind kicked up and damaged my awning. Luckily, the staff contacted me and I was able to return to the park to secure my awning to prevent further damage. We were on our way back to California and wanted to take a day to explore Zion National Park. We found this place to be well-reviewed and I called them. It was really late notice for trying to find a place in the summertime near the 4th of July, but they had a space available. It was a great place to stay. Really nicely laid out. The streets and curbs reminded me of a suburban neighborhood. As I had never been to Zion, I asked the lady at the front desk for some advice. She told us what she would do if she only had a day to see Zion. We followed her advice and it was perfect. We made the most of our day and saw the highlights of the park. It was a really rewarding experience. After our adventures at Zion, our dog was filthy. The RV park has a dog wash station! It was great. If our day at Zion wasn't enough, my son wanted to go sunset fishing. The lady at the office (a different one from before) helped me find a place in town to buy a one day fishing license and told me how to get to the local lake. She was extremely helpful. We will stay here again and explore more of Zion. read more
