This is the perfect getaway for some relaxation and the views are stunning. I'm hesitant to leave a 5 star rating because I would hate to see this desert gem get over run and spoiled like so many other quiet places in southern Nevada. Anyone that visits will appreciate Vicky and Greg for opening this families hidden treasure to guests. read more

I really enjoyed staying here and being able to unplug and get away for the weekend. The owners of the property Vicky and Greg were amazing and so friendly and welcoming. The peace was top tier!! Driving into the camp ground I would say get a pick up truck or 4x4 I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE A REGULAR CAR THERE. I attached the photo of the road for reference. The roads are no joke but the scene is beautiful and if u want to unplug and need a get away this is the place. I usually take a lot of photos where i go but I just enjoyed being there and left my phone in the cabin. If your going for a bunch of excursions this is not the place for you. theres a cabin, wild life, spring water hole pool, manual gaming room and an atv can be delivered to you for the whole day for $500-$600 but this place is not apart of the camp ground. I booked the stay for my family and I, as well as 20 other people that joined us. We are an off road club from Las Vegas and we really enjoyed our stay. everyone in our group loved the facility. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware to prepare our meals and the cabins were nice. It was nice to have heaters in them as the weather really cooled down that weekend. We enjoyed the fireplace in the lodge and the sunrise was one of the best I've ever seen. Greg, the camp host, was a pleasure to have as he went out of his way to make sure we were all comfortable. This is not the Four Seasons, so temper your expectations...but this is an AMAZING jewel in the desert. The cabins and the facility have everything you need for an enjoyable experience. I have lived in Las Vegas for nearly 25 years and I'm terribly disappointed that I didn't know about this place many years ago! Greg the Camp Host took us on a tour of the property and told us the history of Aravada Springs and the story about how the surrounding land is sacred to local native tribes. Mesquite Nevada. A small gaming town 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas. A retirement community consisting of 9 golf courses and a few Vegas style casinos off the interstate 15. For those adventurous souls who explore Mesquites byroads take Exit 123 leading towards the Camel Safari. You will find a parking area with a spectacular overview of Nevada's historical Virgin River. Across the road you will find a Bee Farm of three honeycomb stations producing natural honey. A for sure sign for all the extreme explorers to continue on and Bee all that they can Be. Next you will find a newly opened backroad along the desert byroad leading to Aravada Campgrounds. Should you choose to venture this path be prepared for extreme conditions including temperatures ranging from 11-119 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare yourself to get your feet wet in the Virgin River before heading toward the Gold Butte National Park and Monument. Along the unpaved roads you will set sights only meant for the eyes of Mormon region residents and those true explorers at heart. read more
